Sensi in Locarno

Excellent welcome in a neat and cozy setting. The server very attentive. Spaghetti alla “crudaiola”: a real treat.

Food quality is up to standard, the staff are excellent. Decent price for a well located restaurant in Lucarno Center.

The food and service are always very good.

March 2024 We were there again for dinner. Everything was great, dogs were also welcome. Courteous service. Would love to come back. Nov 2023 Last week we enjoyed a delicious dessert on the terrace on a sunny afternoon. Very good location. Friendly staff.

Great food, friendly staff, there were two of us and we ate excellently after a walk by the lake. I can recommend the pasta with Gamberoni to everyone, I was there again the next day and ordered the same plate.

Well-kept restaurant in a great location in Munusio. Very good and attentive service and fine food. Very good Italian cuisine. The restaurant is located directly on Seestrasse and has a large terrace with trees facing the lake promenade.

The welcome and reception has been miserable several times. Certain guests are almost carried to the table and we were barely greeted. Old bosses, please replace them.

Everything was very nice, friendly staff and good food. Only the prices are exaggerated for the region... But since it was full at lunch, this doesn't seem to bother our tourists and the innkeeper and the owner are happy about it. Every guest has to decide for themselves where they eat.

We had a Thai evening and were thrilled. We've never had such delicious spring rolls ❤️ and the chicken massaman was great!! We will be back! Thank you for the great table at the top 😊

New Year's Eve at Sensi This is the eighth time we have spent the last evening of the year at Sensi and this time it was just GREAT! Good food, excellent service and an atmosphere at its finest! We can only recommend it!!

Top destination, easily reachable by public transport, good food, unmissable Swiss Lachs salmon from Lostallo, vegetables cooked properly and really good, attentive and courteous service, and in summer a beautiful terrace near the lake.

Very friendly service. The Caesar salad was beautifully and generously prepared and the chicken breast was very juicy. A little more salad dressing would be great. I will definitely order the Spaghetti Carbonara Sensi again.

It is good quality restaurant located in a nice area. Maybe a bit on the more expensive side. Food is decent, atmosphere is lovely. There is lots of space inside - but might need reservation during peak times.

It’s a nice restaurant to sit on terrace infront of the lake, best pasta, i took tomato basilic and carbonara and both of them were great! Must try! Terrace view good and staff friendly!

A good restaurant, where you can eat well in a truly beautiful setting. The trout was good (perhaps a little dry) with saffron risotto. Perhaps a little too messy but good, the tagliolini with prawns. Excellent hamburger. The open kitchen is beautiful. Fast and friendly service. The bill wasn't cheap but we are in Locarno's living room.

Fantastically good food, a visit to Sensi (with veal pancakes and amazing saffron risotto) is simply part of every visit to Ticino. Sensi is great and the staff is super friendly, even with little kids

The food was very tasty! Pumpkin cappuccino, red Thai curry, venison schnitzel. The service people were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the waiting time of over half an hour for the starter was a bit long, especially as the restaurant wasn't fully occupied at that time. A pity…

Too much going on on the menu. Italian, Asian, and Swiss dishes.

I was well welcomed! I manage at speaking Italian, but the staff had someone who spoke English, which was perfect! Also they let me know which vegetarian options could be turned into vegan, but also had some vegan ones. Only downside is I think it's a bit expensive, but it was worth it! The main course was enough for me to be satisfied. Ah also someone mentioned that the food was too sweet, and I must agree on this - I had vegan rice and curry (don't really remember the name of the dish) and it kinda tasted like sweet rice. But it was good!

The food (Carbonara Sensi) was a very fine combination and was served incredibly quickly. We waited less than 10 minutes for it, despite the terrace being full! I can only recommend!

High prices (we are in Switzerland so we had taken this into account) but embarrassing quality of food. Ridiculous quantities for the asking price, overcooked meat that looked like shoe soles, salad served already dressed and drowning in vinegar. Mixed fried food 3 rings in a cross €24. The cook would probably be a dishwasher in Italy. Polite and friendly waiter.

We were a party of 8, we booked on line. When we arrive all was set in a very nice part of the large terrace. Service was fast end flawless. Each one enjoyed his lunch! Top
