Outstanding restaurant. Great food and service.

Despite the disappointment of having gone through Ubereat and a huge price in relation to the quantity (child quantity) the staff and the restaurant remain correct and understanding. I will come directly to the restaurant next time and will never use Uber again. THANKS

Very calm and relaxing Indian atmosphere with quiet music. Light a little dark in the evening but it's not disturbing. The waiter is very nice and funny. The wait is not long at all and the prices are cheap. The food is excellent. Only downside: it lacked a little meat in my opinion. I recommend it for those who want to discover Indian culinary culture.

Very good meal, had booked on the fork because offer we arrived at the restaurant asked us if we had reserved we said yes during the meal everything went well.. arrived the time of the bill we noticed that there was no deduction of the offer of the fork we asked the waiter how come there was no deduction and he told us aah but we had to warn.. however he must have known that we had reserved and that we were surely not the only ones to have booked on the fork that day... too bad it would have ended on a good note I was obliged to leave a negative comment. So be careful when you book on the fork and show your reservation directly to avoid unpleasant surprises

As a native indian, this is an abomination in the face of Indian cuisine. Do not eat here if you want anything close to authentic Indian food. We got the madras chicken, sabji korma, fish tikka and zeera rice. It was all sub par and it honestly terrible. The fish tikka was barely spiced and soggy. The zeera rice has all the most burnt cumin I have ever seen. The madras chicken had no gravy, it felt like they stopped after making the masala and while it was spicy (we asked for Indian spicy level) it was not flavorful at all. The least you except from Indian spicy food is that the spice level blends well with the flavour of the dish and here they seemed to have just doused the food with chili ignoring any semblance of flavour at all!!! The worst of all was the korma. Not only did it not look or taste like korma, it was sugary sweet instead of authentically sweet due to cashews! The veggies they used are not standard to a vegetarian korma and the color and taste was totally wrong! The whole meal got off on a bad start with bad fish tikka and it only got worse. Save yourself the trouble and disappointment, go to another Indian restaurant. Bad food here and worst of all, an insult to the name of Ganesh.

Have been here several times, very delicious food and lot of vegetarian options. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Also witnessed several couples so perfect for date nights.

I really liked Indian cuisine, I find that we find delicious flavors and then since I like to eat very spicy it reminds me of Malaysian cuisine which is Indian style. There are Indians in Malaysia who have been there for generations. The server is very nice. The decoration is very beautiful. I really felt in a very Indian atmosphere thank you very much

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and very good food. Friendly atmosphere with cost interior, excellent for a date night or a family dine. The waiter provided excellent suggestions and let us taste test the butter chicken before ordering. Will come again for the butter chicken and cheese naan!

I ordered 2 days ago chicken tikka masala with delivery, it costed 25chf for a tiny portion with no rice etc. The next day I got violent food poisoning. Maybe someone should look up the clean standards that the food is prepared in

One of the best Indian food restaurants I've ever been to. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful. It's a smaller restaurant and isn't overly decorated, and has a more casual vibe, which I count as a plus. I will definitely go there again.

We ate well but the quantities were really small. 5 squares of chicken in butter chiken for 22.- (without rice), it's a bit expensive for a piece of chicken.

Food was amazing,more then I expected

We waited 1 hour 40 minutes before eating once our order was placed. It's way too long. I kindly asked if there was a problem after an hour of waiting, I was told that no, no, it would arrive in 5 minutes. I would have appreciated an explanation or at least a gesture of apology. That said, good food, but portions too small, especially having waited so long, we were very hungry.

By chance, we ate in this restaurant one evening, the street is not the busiest, but the service is impeccable and fast. The food is tasty, a real treat! I recommend without hesitation! See you soon !

We discovered this nice little restaurant in the pedestrian zone by chance. The menu is small but nice. The food we ordered was very tasty and the recommended wine was very good. The service was very friendly and accommodating. For us it will definitely not be the last visit to Shri Ganesh!!!

Pitiful welcome. Good food but very very small and very very expensive. Execrable service. I throw the platters on the tables. One Naan to pay double the price. After their work, the atmosphere and the service changed a lot and it's a shame because before it was excellent. With good service but still expensive. Today just very expensive. Really two to have known the before and after. Don't come, unless you like paying a lot of money to eat sample dishes.

Starter and main course (Viandolo) were very good. Sharpness can be selected. Had the Viandolo at strength 4. Very good, but you have to be used to spicy food. All in all we were very satisfied.

This place is perfect for a date or family night out. The food is flavorful and the servings are worth their price. Waiters were friendly and executed quick service. Shri Ganesh is your to-go-to restaurant in Neuchâtel when you feel like eating Indian cuisine.

Decent food if you are really craving for Indian food. It does get packed in the evenings so expect some delay in getting the food. Pakoras, Samsoas, Daal, Paneer, all are tasty.

Very good restaurant, I highly recommend! Very welcoming and helpful staff, plus the food is delicious. We ate a starter for two then a main course with rice at a very reasonable price and had more than enough to eat. We'll be back soon :)

If you are a fan of small portions, whole-food naan, dry chicken and Europeanized Indian cuisine, you are at home here. It wasn't bad, but it lacked pep!!!

For delivery, I ordered 2 paneer butter masala with 2 plain basmati rice for each dish of course. 67.90chf for two very small portions and only one punnet of rice in the bag, the second one was missing. That's changed a lot, stingy portion. Fortunately there was cheese naan for 7chf to console me a little (at that price we savor it). Not counting 2 hours of delivery delay, the total.

Fantastic dine in experience!! Great lamb karahi & eggplant pakora 💯 What I loved the most was gulab jamun ice cream. This combination is heavenly!! Price wise, it’s on the higher side but it’s Switzerland after all :)

It's not the best Indian restaurant I've ever had. The quantities are not there either.

Price too high for the quantities served. Mediocre quality. Please note, this is not a menu. Each “dish” is served without accompaniment. Each supplement has a cost. We paid 50chf per person for a very small bowl of chicken sauce, 3 Naam, 1 drink and a starter, which again was served in a very small quantity.

I have rarely seen this…. out of 5 dishes, 4 are almost inedible and in any case very unpleasant dry, tasteless and SO expensive!! 123 chf wasted in any case, we can't get over it my chicken was a compressed, dehydrated block that could have easily broken my foot if it fell. the rice was worthy of an after-school canteen, let’s not talk about the Madras shrimp. good point for the Naan with cheese, it was delicious. there is no point in adding salad to cover up the obvious lack in the portions. the meal for 4 that we will remember...

You will have better time eating the dinner dishes to reheat and especially at 2frs95. Dry, bland and of close to mediocre quality, paying 140frs at 4 for this meal is literally legal theft, I don't recommend it, at least to take it away.

Good evening, For 4, and with a very reasonable quantity per person, we paid 123 francs! For 24 francs, you will have 3 small pieces of dry chicken even if the sauce catches up a little. The rice is worthy of a canteen with a mediocre cook. This is an example, but each dish we ordered was only enough to fill a shy half of our stomach for an exorbitant price. There is no point in responding to this comment by trying to make yourself appear innocent in the eyes of your future customers.

Restaurant with delicious traditional Indian dishes, kind and professional staff, the place is welcoming and furnished in Indian style. On weekends it is recommended to book a table.

Ok I normally don't give bad reviews but I feel as if this restaurant 100% deserves it. First of all, the service was terrible. The waiter took at least 30mins to take our order because he was too busy seeing about other customers. Secondly, the curries were too sweet and lacked any sort of spice. The only saving grace were the naan breads which were ok. Now I've had my fair share of Indian food seeing that I grew up in London and I can honestly say that this is some of the worst curry I've ever had in my life. Maybe they were having an off night but that doesn't change the fact that the waiter was completely dismissive of our thoughts when we told him about the food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It's a quite good restaurant. Fine taste, good and fast service, nice ambiance, reasonable price. Some curry were a little too sweet for my taste, but most of them were fine. Meats are super tender, too. We visit here from time to time :-)

Newly settled in Neuchâtel, I was looking for an Indian restaurant for family outings. It's a real disappointment. The service is not up to par. The prices are too expensive for what it is and above all don't take the tasting formula. A real scam. The taste may be okay but I've had much better.
