Guest rooms 1-4 clean and practically furnished with large windows and an even better view of the mountains... A super nice place and great views with nice weather. It's a shame. Many people don't know that there is a free minibus from Solingen. Because the parking lot was packed, as was the restaurant. So we enjoyed our lovely Sunday walk. Again and again 😀😃

Very disappointing that an empty children's plate for a two-year-old child costs CHF 4.50, and of course the syrup also costs a fee (which would still be fine). We have been to many, many restaurants with babies/children but we have never had to pay for an empty plate. (Adult consumption over CHF 100)

When there is fog in the lowlands, we like to go to the Randen from the Zurich lowlands. For example, up in Siblingen we have a great lunch and look enthusiastically up at the sun + down at the sea of ​​fog. Before eating (reservation recommended) we hike above the fog for 1...2 hours in the sun + possibly in the snow.

It was a pleasure to dine at this restaurant. The dishes are not only delicious, but also of outstanding quality. The host is characterized by his extraordinary attention and strives to offer each guest the best. The surrounding area also impresses with its natural beauty.

We are happy to drive over 52 km for high-quality, very good food from the region, for very friendly service and for a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere and are also happy to invest the necessary travel time. The price-performance ratio is very balanced. These are the experiences of a guest who personally knows two of three generations of loving hosts. The third generation will even be able to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025! Thank you very much for your passionate hospitality.

We ordered a small portion of schnitzel fries. The fries at this price should be homemade. The price is not appropriate, a small schnitzel and very few fries for still 19 francs, instead of 25 normal portion. You couldn't squeeze the lemon because it was cut into slices. All in all not a fair price

A very nice family-run hotel/guesthouse. The food in the restaurant was also great and the owner/chef came over to everyone and asked if everything was OK - very good! There is a star deduction for the room because the rooms (bathroom and bedroom) seemed very noisy.

Spontaneously on Sunday lunchtime, despite the house being full, the two of us were immediately assigned a nice table. We had a delicious meal. Compliments to the speedy kitchen and thanks for the top service from R. Spoerndli.

After a team event we had the pleasure of being guests at the Siblinger Randenhaus. The food was simply delicious and the ambience, including the view, was breathtaking. The food was good, the service was friendly. The room is large and bright. The beds are very comfortable. Slept well. 2 comfortable chairs for sknitting, reading, relaxing and, when the weather is nice, a view of the mountains. Is a larger alpine farm. You can walk well. Also has a few benches at the edge of the forest. With cows, pigs and chickens

We stayed here for one night on our hike over the WasserWeltenSteig. Hikers are warmly welcome here! We received a very warm welcome when we arrived! The family-run house is bright, tastefully and modernly furnished. The rooms have everything you need, but no TV, but a beautiful panoramic glass front with a view of the Alps, if the weather is good! You really don't need a TV when there are two comfortable armchairs in front of the window where you can enjoy the view! We had a nice seat by the window for “dinner”. The staff is very attentive and friendly!! I myself have worked in the catering industry for over 20 years, and I have to say, it really made friends to see how conscientiously and attentively the work was carried out! The chef even comes by himself to wish you “bon appetit”! Breakfast was served entirely at the table. The evening before we were asked what we would like in the morning... from Bircher muesli to cold cuts, sweet things and eggs in all variations, you can get everything. In the neighboring house there is even a small 24/7 farm shop to refill your travel provisions ;-) We say thank you for a successful stay!

We were actually there to enjoy a nice afternoon with good food. But what can I say, nothing impressed us about the meal apart from the soup and the sauce. The spaetzli were overcooked and the meat was quite tough. The worst thing, however, was the boss, who seemed completely unfriendly and frustrated. Her snippy manner and completely unacceptable behavior have now ensured that we will visit other restaurants in the future.

The Matzingen men's choir was there as a registered group with 15 people. Very friendly staff and everyone speaks “Schwiizedutsch”, where else does that exist? The meal was excellent. Unfortunately the weather was bad and the view could not be enjoyed. That alone is a reason to come back.

You will always receive a friendly welcome at the Siblinger Randenhaus. The food is seasonal and regional. It is beautifully prepared and tastes delicious. The Randenhaus is recommended at any time of the year.

We had to wait almost an hour for the food even though we were registered. The cordon bleu was oversalted and the vegetables were missing. Only the fries were good. After dinner we went car again. 20 minutes until the plates have been cleared away. The restaurant wasn't even half full. Food and service is a disappointment. Not worth another visit.

I would love to come back. Top food, top service, top coffee. I can only recommend! 👍🏻

It's a great location and a nice restaurant. The service was very friendly and also spoke good English, which was very helpful for our Australian guests. The food was also very tasty, but the prices are very steep by German standards. Anyone who knows that can easily go there.

I stayed here a few years ago when all the hotels in Schaffhausen were full. I had a wonderful stay. Everyone was friendly, from my initial phone call to setup the reservation through checkout. I had a great dinner and wonderful breakfast in the morning. The grounds were beautiful and I had a nice hike to the Randenturm after dinner. I rather enjoyed waking up to the sound of cow bells from the cows grazing the field outside my window.

Nice environment. Was cross-country skiing. Great track.
