Sicula in Bern

During my visit today I tried every bread and I have to say that they were all absolutely top and tasted incredibly good. But it wasn't just the bread that was convincing, but also the familiar and friendly manner that I was able to experience here. I can only warmly recommend this bread/baker. It's small and nice. In summary, I would say this is a hidden pearl in Bern!

Hidden in the back alley there is total Italian love here! In addition to baked goods such as sourdough bread, you can also get lovingly filled sourdough pizza pieces, but also the typical street food from Naples: the pizza a portafoglio (folded take-away pizza).

The Sicula pizza is crunchy and delicious, everything bio and locally sourced. Will for sure come back

Incredibly good bread and delicious pizzas in a special style that you can't find anywhere else. Rather high prices but also the only organic pizza we know of. Eat here at least once a week and recommend this insider tip to all our friends.

Incredibly delicious pizza slices and sourdough bread. Very special pizza combinations that you can't get anywhere else. Hats off to the regional & seasonal ingredients, which taste absolutely great. The pinsas (or what they are called) are really tasty but the price is a bit too muvh for what you get. I think 7-8 would be ok. I get it, that everything is local and done by the owner but for 10 i expect to not be hungry for at least an hour. Anyways, it tastes really good and the owner is really nice as well.
