I had a sausage salad garnished with fries. All salads were freshly prepared, the fries were very good. The salad dressing French dressing was too hearty for me and probably not homemade but that is subjective. We actually came to eat Aelplermacaroni as stated on the homepage you could only distort a small part of the many menus that are on the homepage. We didn't think that was that great because we think that menus only belong on the homepage and can actually be distorted, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

I have also visited the Sissacherflue mountain restaurant several times. It was a great experience every single time. We ate something and were very satisfied. Even more specific menu requests were easily fulfilled. We'd love to come back.

The meat is great, we go every autumn, it's straight from the hunter.

one of those picture-book inns that I would like to see: everything is rustically built and furnished out of wood, there is hearty and delicious food (e.g. delicious Rösti), and the prices are very cheap by Swiss standards. From the site you have a very good view of Basel, or even the Alps (when the weather is good). It is forbidden to drive up by car on Saturdays and Sundays, but on weekdays you can easily get up there.

Great view but unfortunately the food wasn't good and the portions were too small. We were told on the phone that there were already deer but unfortunately there weren't any on site.

Food good but more for small appetites. Very loud inside the restaurant. Service was ok at first and quickly at the end of the evening it was obviously more important to put away glasses than to serve the many guests... due to the long waiting time we decided not to go for another course. A pity.

Went to the Fluh again last week after a long time. It was really worth a trip again. Ate there and enjoyed a good wine. I ordered bratwurst with hash browns and my partner ordered cordon bleu with hash browns. The service was super nice and organized. The price of 26.50 sfr. Unfortunately, I think it was very exaggerated for my dish because the Rösti was unfortunately run of the mill. Would have taken 1 - 2 minutes. should have been on the stove for longer and in my opinion this dish lacked a fine sauce. Nevertheless, we would love to come by again. Always worth a visit for the ambience and the view.

We ate last night in a small chalet on the forecourt. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly! We can only recommend this restaurant!

Very nice place; The steep climb from the Wintersingerhöhe car park is rewarded with a fantastic view. You can also drive up from Monday to Friday. It has enough parking spaces. The economy is cozy, the prices are acceptable and you quickly get a holiday feeling. I would like to come back.

Friendly service, good coffee and delicious cakes in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is also very suitable for corporate events for up to 20 people. Parking spaces right next to the restaurant. Rustic cabins for 8-16 people can be rented.

This is what a mountain pub for hikers should be like: hearty food and extremely friendly staff! The spaetzle pan is particularly recommended. What is annoying, however, are the many cars (these days there should actually be a strict ban on driving).

A rustic mountain restaurant with very good cuisine and a unique view.

We were guests in December 2022 and had reserved. We were totally thrilled. From the greeting to the farewell, everything was perfect. We also think it's great that you can order one type of fondue and if you don't have enough, you can order more of the other flavors. So you can really try everything. There is something for every taste and the coleslaw is a real culinary delight. Please remember that you are not allowed to drive up there on Sundays. But the way up is relatively short and easy to manage.

We went to the winter cottage yesterday with a group of 10 and enjoyed the winter menu! A huge compliment at this point. It was a perfect match. From the food, which was brilliant, to the atmosphere! Also a big compliment to our waiter “Ibu”. We have rarely been served so well! We will definitely come back and if you are looking for a great location for a Christmas dinner, this is the right place!

Cozy log cabins for cozy group events. The houses are set up in addition to the restaurant and can be rented individually. An aperitif and meal including soup and salad are included. At the end there is dessert and another schnapps. We had a table grill. There was also beef, pork and chicken. Also sausage and bacon as well as Raquelette cheese. Dad meat was really very good and tender. As a side dish there were jacket potatoes and fries as well as vegetables for grilling (mushrooms, zucchini, onions) and pickled vegetables (cucumbers, pearl onions, etc.). Drinks are also included: beer, water, various sweet drinks and various red and white wines from the region. The aperitif took place outside by the open fire with mulled wine, chips and nuts. There is also a wooden stake for hammering in nails.

It's a shame unfriendly service employee for such a beautiful mountain restaurant. We wanted something to drink and then something to eat, so we asked for the drinks menu first, we got a cheeky answer in a high tone, there is no drinks menu, only a food menu. At that moment our appetite disappeared.

Makes a great impression, not exactly aimed at children, but it doesn't have to be that way. Sausage salad was delicious and so was Nüssli salad with bacon. Friendly service. Pay with cash or card, no Twint.

Friendly and attentive staff The food was delicious and freshly prepared. There are various salads, rösti with vegetables and fine cheese gratinated with fried eggs, beef, chicken, fish crispy, with various side dishes and combinations. Good selection of desserts, such as apple strudel, caramel chöpfli, mousse au chocolat and a diverse range of ice cream. You can skip the mousse au chocolat.
