The price is TOO HIGH and the quality is not there. How can they give chicken from Vietnam or Brazil? It tastes horrible! Oh my God. I accept it at noon but at night it costs double the money and is worse. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Home delivery: Very punctual But that was it. Fried noodles/rice with chicken: Where were the chicken pieces? We could count them on one hand. Same with the fried rice shrimp. Tofu Chop Suey: Tastes ok, the tofu pieces are rubbery, hard to chew.

Nice service, good food, expensive prices. The partitions between the tables are great and create an undisturbed atmosphere.

Waiting 1.5 hours in the restaurant for a chop suey was incredible.

We were at Smiling Fish on Monday, December 18, 2023. Since practically all restaurants in Baden are closed on Monday, we decided on this one. It was packed. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they made sure we got a place. We had to wait longer for our starter. But as I said, everything was full except for the last seat. The staff was very friendly. The food was good as always. The prices are a bit higher in my opinion. The menu has a good selection of various dishes from Chinese to Thai. For dessert there is either Mövenpick ice cream or your own desserts. The ambience doesn't bother me that much now. However, that is a matter of taste.

For lunch they serve a buffet with some Asian and Thai dishes. The appearance is pleasant, but I have some reservations about the green curry, in my opinion not very spicy and tasty, not a real green curry perhaps. For the rest, everyone was very kind and friendly. Informal environment and unfortunately a little cold due to the sliding door that opens continuously. However, for a quick lunch it's not bad and the price is average.

The worst service ever! This has never happened to me in my life! When I ordered, I pointed out to the waiter that I couldn't eat carrots and bean sprouts. The first plate arrived and unfortunately there were carrots and bean sprouts in it. I then pointed this out to the waiter and I was immediately given a new plate. Guess what was in it? Bean sprouts. I politely pointed this out to the waiter again. When I got to the third plate I gave up because there were bean sprouts in it again. I was very uncomfortable with the waiter, but I got tired of it and just wanted to pay and leave. But the owner came to me and I thought he wanted to apologize, on the contrary. He accused me of having to declare the allergies at the beginning, I told him that I had done so. He said I was lying. The table next to us heard the whole thing and even they were speechless. Accusing me of lying just because your service isn't good enough? Why should I lie? What does a guest get out of it? In the end I didn't eat, but I even wanted to pay him for all the plates. How can you subject a guest to something like that? Shame!! I have never experienced anything so disrespectful in my life. Never again!

We've enjoyed coming to this resto so far. But two days ago when we came we are now very disappointed. The food is, as always, very good. Friendly staff. Except we got the wrong food twice. First they brought us white rice instead of 1x noodles and 1x fried rice. Then the main menu came back wrong for me. We had received the rice/noodles about 8 minutes beforehand and had to wait for the main course. The rice was already lukewarm. They then changed my main course. In 2 minutes Then the right thing came. I'm wondering if there was a trick here or if it was given to someone incorrectly and then warmed up for a moment👎🤷‍♀️. Meat was also rubbery. The service leaves a lot to be desired. You place the drink and plate on the guest's side and do not press it into the guest's hand across the table. The boss should train employees better. Unfortunately he was absent that evening. The restaurant wasn't full and mistakes like that aren't possible. As the saying goes: When the cat is out of the house, the mice dance. It's a shame for this nice resto Dr price for CHF 95.- too expensive. Massive markup for such poor service And the bill was for the wrong menu. But since the prices were all the same in this category it doesn't make any difference

We knew the smiling fish in Winterthur, which unfortunately closed during the pandemic. That's how we came to Baden. Unfortunately, our favorite roast duck was missing from the menu. The Szechuan beef wasn't as spicy as advertised and the meat was a bit rubbery. The red Thai curry had surprisingly few vegetables, but the sauce was great. Service was very friendly. All in all, no comparison to the smiling fish in Winterthur before the pandemic!

It was my first time there and I ordered a spicy Szechuan soup and Pulet Koh Pao for the main course. Both were good and served very quickly. The staff and the boss were very friendly, I felt comfortable

This place use to be fantastic before Corona. These days the quality is just not up to standard. Red Thai curry practically white and tasteless. Use to be great. I hope it goes back to the way it was.

I have enjoyed eating here again and again for over 15 years. In my opinion, Smiling Fish has the best sweet and sour chicken far and wide. A colleague and I enjoyed this again this evening. But all the other dishes I've had so far have also been delicious. The aromatic vegetarian spring rolls are also particularly recommended. The staff is friendly, quick and humorous, the prices are fair. I forgot to take a photo because I was just too hungry and hungry 😁. I'll be back! 😊

The shrimps were raw, the main dishes were similar( one was Tai another one was Chinese) serving of the food like from 90s, service was terrible- no apologies after bringing wrong dish!!! No appetite to eat food after ruined mood.

3 different menus but tasted very similar; simply for undefined soy. Not bad but lacking any character. Then all 3 menus from the self-service buffet were almost cold, to put it positively: lukewarm. A pity

The delivery came on time. The food was once again not good at all and has nothing in common with Thai food. Tastes bland and way too sweet. I also reported it to them, but so far there has been no response. Unfortunately, the food doesn't always taste the same, which is a shame. I ordered last time.

The Thai dish consumed didn't really differ from a Chinese sweet and sour chicken but rather was swimming in this sweet and sour sauce, accompanied only by two chilli peppers. It's definitely not authentic Asian cuisine, but it may still please bored Swiss palates with no travel experience. Very friendly host.

A super great restaurant in Baden! The service is friendly and not overwhelmed even when the restaurant is full. The restaurant is often very full, that speaks for itself. The dishes are usually very tasty, but we also had a soup where the vegetables were still quite crunchy. For me it's more on the upper limit in terms of price performance. Nonetheless, highly recommended!

I had the 🦀 crab soup and it was delicious. Although it was just an entrance soup I was really filled. I shared a main course later.

We once again used the home delivery service. As usual, the food came very quickly and is always perfectly hot. This time my fish was sweet and sour but unfortunately overcooked and therefore mushy, not really tasty to eat 😟 The taste was still good, but the batter should just be crispy. I'm looking forward to the next time!

Very tasty and fair prices. We were in the mood for Asian food and came here by chance. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was busy. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait and were able to choose from 6 dishes. The food was very tasty and the staff was super friendly. We will be back definitely.

The good thing first: The food was excellent and actually deserved a better rating. Unfortunately, the service couldn't keep up with the quality of the kitchen during our visit. While we were told the dim sum combo would take 20 minutes, the appetizer didn't arrive until 35 minutes after it was almost served to the wrong table twice. Drinks were forgotten and after the main course we waited a full 40 minutes for the dishes to be cleared away, so that it was no longer possible to order dessert due to the two-shift operation on the weekends. The highlight of our visit was when we were paying when we simply didn't get any return money. Based on the reviews here we would have expected much more. A pity!
