A truly special place I highly recommend

We really loved this restaurant!! Everything was great, including the decor, the staff and the food, we felt like home. Everything was super good, spicy just enough for our taste. For those who like it spicier, there is a shelf with plenty of spices... ranging from least to strongest for the brave. We took, among other things, “The Cromagnon”, a discovery dish with different meats. The tastes, the cooking everything was perfect. Plus, EVERYTHING is done on site. A huge thank you to THE person who introduced us to this restaurant, we will come back, and we highly recommend it!

If you like meat, don't hesitate, both quality and quantity are there. The staff is super friendly, which doesn't hurt anything.

"Bacon" Back Rib - outstanding ... I will need to try to duplicate M&C - very solid, expected good cheese in the land of fondue Fries - solid, but small portion Beans - sauce ok, but who uses kidney beans for baked beans??? Brisket - average at best

The service team are fantastic...the lady serving us had many talents, waitress, bartender and of course gourmet. The food portions are generous and extremely flavourful.

A very good surprise. A wide choice of starters and dishes to share followed by delicious burgers (Swiss meat). I recommend you try the truly excellent “PBC” burger! In fact they are all delicious! Very good place to enjoy quality burgers.

Visited on a Tuesday evening, we had platters for 2 and it was excellent. Considering the quantity of meat, I find the price fair and above all you can taste different types of meat, all very good. Side also very good. The service is very pleasant More of an address with meat-loving friends (there are vegetarian options so there is something for everyone). Thanks again !!! Ps: a wide choice of spicy sauces (hot ones)

Great discovery. The Burgers are very good and the staff are very professional and friendly. Only downside... a really long wait. But it's worth the detour.

It is funny for me to see some icky reviews. I have worked at Smok'Ed for over months and I had never had such a pleasant experience like this one. And I am not saying this because I used to be an employee I would of stayed if it wasn't because of my studies... My manager was always making sure everybody was content, me were always cleaning to make sure hygiene was at it's top and when I was taking plates from the kitchen, if something was not necessarily presentable we would ask them to remake it for the client. Burgers are great, but the patty is slightly oily. Otherwise very welcoming staff and great choice of sauces

Love this place, stumbled up on whilst walking through the old town. Wings, ribs, nachos and much more. Great selection of drinks. There is a wall with chilli sauces which you can choose to accompany your spicy wings.

Food was unreal! Service was good, beer was a reasonable price.

Fantastic owner. Really friendly and welcoming. We had the most delicious smoked Brisquet burger! The premises also has one of the most comprehensive selections of chilli sauces available, I've ever seen.....all arranged in heat/spice order.

Very good, whether it's the beef ribs or the smoked chicken. A little disappointed with the brisket which tastes good but is a little dry. The fries are good. The service is great, I didn't give it 5 stars because I hate sticky tables.

This is a very disappointing experience! The food was so bad. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich which should be a very straightforward meal. The sandwich came so cold, the chicken was burnt to black, the bun was dry and obviously old. The chicken had no taste, definitely was not marinated in anything… and when I told the waitress about my experience she said that the chicken sandwich is not their speciality and I should have ordered Brisket! It is crazy overpriced and you don’t even get properly cooked food for it ! Just don’t go…. I would never recommend.

Excellent evening spent in this establishment. The dishes are very good but be careful the bill can quickly add up. The servers are responsive and attentive. Small digestive offered at the end to wash it all down.

Very disappointed with the food. I had the brisket sandwich, the meat was very dry, which either means it was old or that they don't know how to cook the brisket. A properly cooked brisket should always be juicy. If they are daring to charge such ridiculously high prices they should get the food right every single time. Almost 40 francs for a small sandwich of dry meat?, are you having a laugh? Needless to say, we won't be coming back

While the buffalo wings were really delicious, everything else was rather disappointing, the meat was too dry and stringy, the sauce was boring, generally the food just didn't deliver on my hopes. I would go there again, but just for the wings.

Well, very tasty dishes! And ribs are my love! I have never tasted tastier anywhere! Friendly and attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is located in the very center of the capital in the part of the old town 😍! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart

I tried the beef brisket sandwich and the cauliflower and both were awesome. The fries are also very tasty and both the barbeque and the ranch sauce are great. I can recommend the lemonade as well. Service was also perfect. The only thing i can complain is the pickle that comes with the sandwich, as it’s literally just a slice of pickle😂 would be cool to include a whole pickle since the menu mentions that pickles are included…

Awesome beef brisket and bacon ribs. Giant collection of hot sauce. A bit dry pulled pork and beef ribs though. Staff are very friendly. Good draft beers.

Very good food! We had a selection of meats. The sauce/marinade was good on them. The chicken and beef tips were best! Very good fries. But expensive.

Laid back and casual off the main commercial street downtown. If you want a good BBQ in Geneva, definitely worth coming by. Service is very friendly and all the meats are smoked in house with a wide selection of sauces to spice up the meat. My favourite on the menu was the beef ribs, with a side of Mac and Cheese. And you if you have room to spare the brownie and ice cream will be sure to fill you up!

The place is the real deal! I loved everything I tried. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures, but I will definitely take some next time. If you go, do try the pulled beef nachos – they're divine!

The food was amazing! Pulled beef nachos was a personal favourite! The summer smash cocktails are 10/10 👏 great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Such a great venue. Food was amazing, we had a lady who was absolutely amazing, suggested a bottle of wine for the food. Ribs, nachos, pulled brisket sandwich and then the rest with a espresso and limoncello. Prices for Geneva and I thought they were great. Will be back. Thanks again

The most tender spare ribs I have ever eaten. It took a while to get our food but it was delicious. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. A bit urban but homely.

The welcome was very pleasant and the staff were super friendly with their explanations of the concept. The food is just amazing. For my part and being a good eater, the quantities are not huge. There's also a hot sauce bar - just crazy! Place not to be missed 👌🏼

Great food, service and ambience. BBQ meat, brisket and ribs are really tasty. Even the beer and fries complement the bbq meat! Their bbq sauce is goes well the the pulled pork which otherwise will be too dry to eat by itself. A lot of chilly sauces for the brave ones. Located near the Temple de la Madeleine.

Delicious food, and good service. The beef ribs is just amazing. The price is a bit high though, doesn't invite to visit often. The buns for their sandwiches can be improved.

We went there for drinks and snacks. One of the owners (father) was so super nice and friendly, carefully telling us about food and giving his recommendations. Everything was tasty. I so much like to feel how people are putting the sole into what they are doing. Also they gave water to our dog right away, thank you again!

If you are a tourist from the southern US like I am and think to yourself "What would BBQ taste like in Geneva?" Just know that at Smoked a) the food and service are really good and b) their portions and prices are offensive to the land where BBQ originated. My husband and I *shared* a 3 inch cut of rib meat and some gruyere and swiss fries (both very delicious by the way) and paid $60 euros for it. TBH it's on us for not doing our research on the measurements of the beef which is listed in the menu. Also it's Geneva, so I suppose Smoked is the Rolex of BBQ in that town. Our friends ordered a pork dish that was still a little pricey but more reasonable in portion sizes.

Ever wondered what dry, unsalted cardboard tastes like? Yes? Then Smok'ed is definitely for you. Ordered the rib tips sandwich and wings. Ribs were so dry and hard, might as well have been beef jerky. The chicken was dry and hard. Considering I paid 53chf for the pleasure, I would not recommend. Go get a MacDonalds.

Ordered the BBQ carnivore platter. A bit disappointed by the way it was served. Not very appetizing. The mac n cheese and brisket were tasty. However, the ribs were hard and dry. The pulled pork was bland. Had to eat with addition of BBQ sauce, hot sauces and mayonnaise. Not worth the price paid.

We arrived at 11:55 a.m., there were only 3 tables occupied at that time. And yet Our dishes arrived at 1:05 p.m. and we had to leave at 1:30 p.m. max to go to work. Apart from that, the meal was good, it's a shame not to have been able to enjoy it...

Portions are a bit small for the price but understandable considering how labor intensive this type of cooking can be. Great food and service. The hot sauce options make this a 5* for sure.

Highly recommended American bbq place. We got Mac&Cheese, Cauliflower buffalo wings, The Holy Trinity, The Cromagnon, and Brownie Royal for dessert; paid 515chf for 7 people. Not too expensive by Geneva standards but not cheap either. High quality meat, real tasty food, and friendly staff. Just absolute joy!

Probably the best smoked meat specialist in the region and the best smoked meat specialties in the USA. Like the brisket sandwich or ribs, pulled beef and much more. The Mc&Cheese or the Cheesy Fries 🤤 All this with a very large choice of hot sauce. Thanks to the Smok'ed team

Simple and very good. Quality, in a pleasant place.

This is NOT real BBQ. OK food but not more. There is not a trace of real smoke on the food, no smoke ring at all. The food where likely made low and slow in the oven with a touch on the grill at the end for a trace of flavor. This is not real smoked BBQ ribs, pulled pork or brisket. @ the owner. As a weekend pit master and owner of multiple smokers, pellet smokers and grills as well as being a frequent traveler to Texas I'm can comfortably say I know what I am talking about. Your food does not even have a smoke ring.

It was good. But it's a shame that the map is not in French. So know that rib = rib and brisket = brisket.

Excellent. Food was good. Portions were ok. We ordered a single bacon rib, chicken wings, a burger and two drinks and paid 83.90€. Not bad for Geneva.

First experience today and honestly no regrets! Adorable welcome, top decoration and chill atmosphere. Here we are seated and we order: the ribs and the brisket. What my son and I appreciated was the ability to choose the quantity (by weight or piece depending on the dish). The ribs were perfectly cooked and the homemade sauce perfect. The brisket was great: perfectly smoked and tender as it should be. The choice of hot sauces is extraordinary! It reminded me of my barbecues when I lived in Houston. In short: an excellent evening, a great discovery and a perfectly reasonable price for Geneva (yes it's expensive but it's Switzerland... no offense to some), so perfect. And the little compliment on my son's style from our host was super nice. Go for it !

Open Sunday evening. Very generous portion, we took the leftovers to take away. The meats are good although a little fatty, but that's the American concept in my opinion. Great selection of hot sauces to choose from. The waitress very kind and patient. It's a little expensive for my taste, it's a shame not to have a side dish included in the platters, it would have made the bill more reasonable. We had broccoli salad and grilled corn...I don't think the price was very fair. Nonetheless, a nice evening!

To be honest I was expecting something fancier. But hey, the decor is nice. Impeccable service. Big disappointment with the kitchen... Very small portions for the exorbitant price, an ear of corn for 9frs which is also served cold! Like the mini burgers or the rest, it's either lukewarm or cold. Dry meat. We informed the waiter who brought us a burger with cold bread... Brief. Not an exceptional fast food at all that costs too much.

The Holy Trinity plate and BBQ sauce were excellent! The sides were decent. The lemonade tasted like tonic water with a slice of lime thrown in, so that was super disappointing. I expected an American style sweetened lemonade made from lemons!! Our waitress disappeared after taking our order, and didn't return to ask if we needed anything else or how the food was for the entire duration of our meal. We planned to order a few more things to try but ultimately we decided to pay and leave as our waitress wasn't available. We were eventually able to flag down another waiter after we finished eating, who was very friendly and directed us to the bar to pay. It would have been nice to have this type of friendly service from the beginning. A few improvements could be made, mostly service wise, but we would return again for the Holy Trinity!

Carnivore menu for two plus broccoli to deliver: very small quantities for two and price 120.- plus 9.95 Smood fees. Delivered 2 hours after ordering, the restaurant completely discharges itself by saying that the dish was ready 1 hour after the order and sends it back to Smood, without any listening, on the contrary a conference on the profession of restaurateur... Second experience with Smok’ed, the first on site: no thank you.

Ordered for delivery tonight. Was excellent. If you’re missing good old American bbq- get your fix at Smok’ed. get the pork ribs and beef ribs. The slaw is fresh homemade awesome, cornbread not sweet perfection. Broccoli salad was super fresh crunchy delicious. Smoking meat takes time, the spices, cooking time, it’s homemade, and the meat was excellent Swiss quality, of course it’s pricey but it’s not overpriced for what it was. Thanks Smok’ed for bringing some ‘merica to Geneva.

I am a huge fan of slow cooked BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich today and it was absoultely delicious. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for BBQ.
