Snowboat in Zermatt

I didn't get any food, we had some drinks. The upstand downstairs was closed. However, this was a great spot to meet randos from all parts of the world. We had a great time with the staff and with everyone that was coming through for the snow. Strongly recommend if you want to bump into people and have a great time.

Music is too loud. They play too much rap. Drinks are good but pricey.

We were grateful to get some paninis here for dinner, which were quite good. All other restaurants were closed, but this bar had hearty snacks that were good enough for us to make dinner out of it.

Very nice bar, unfortunately the (owner or bar manager) very rude to customers. We won't go anymore.

We walked and when we got there it was only a small bar. There was no restaurant no food no people there eating only drinking people. I'm not sure what the deal with other reviews about a restaurant or even in their website it show that there are burgers but nope nothing in there. No food...only alcoholic drinks. So tiny place

The owner is such a nice guy! I already had a good experience over the phone when I booked. They had a table set up for us and we decided to have them choose our menu for the evening. It was incredible. Every course was delicious. The whole family loved the food. Best sushi I’ve had in years!

We went here after dinner for cocktails. The male bartender was very drunk, and became very hateful with us because he messed up our drink orders. When we asked him to fix it, he drank the mistakes and still charged us for them. He then charged us for additional drinks we never had. When we complained he threatened us to pay the bill, slamming his hand on the table. A female server came over, supposedly his wife, and said she would fix it but still snuck the whole thing on our tabs! Trash experience and an obvious scam on tourists.

Best. Sushi. Ever. Did not want to try sushi in Switzerland, since it’s land-locked, but let me tell you- it was AMAZING!!! I got the salmon tempura roll for 28 francs and it was 😘👌🏼 It comes with a little seaweed salad, too. Great portion. Wonderful flavor. Nice vibes inside.

It’s a cool spot, but really confused —> Once fine dining, then a burger bar and now a sushi restaurant. The drinks are good and the winter vibe is happy. Restaurant is downstairs but given it was half term was pretty quiet, but the bar upstairs was very lively, maybe it was due to the small menu, predominantly burgers. Had a great meal here with my wife. First time in Zermatt and was strolling around looking for nice restaurant and stumbled across Snowboat. Teriyaki Chicken Wrap was amazing and Kat made us feel very welcome and filled us in with a bit of local history and also advised us of best places in Zermatt to go for traditional Swiss food ie: fondue, raclette and rostis etc. Can’t thank Kat enough as she definitely helped to enhance our holiday in Zermatt. Hope to be back next year. Although I am in my late 50’s might even take up skiing and come for a winter break. Cheers Kat

Food was so good here that we returned again the next day for lunch! I had the homemade pesto pasta (best pesto I’ve tasted) and my partner had one of the burgers. This is a gem in Zermat. After walking around for some time and getting quite hungry, somebody on the street just pointed to this place. The servers were amazing and one of them actually was from Holland so it was nice for us to speak our mother tongue. The menu had something for all of us, great variety. Coming from Canada and having vacationed in North America for many times, we are very used to eating 'burgers'. But this place took 'burger' to a whole different level. Obviously it was homemade, but we could truly say that this was the best burger we have ever eaten! Ground meat must have been fresh and from a very healthy cow, the spices and fresh herbs mixed in were perfectly balanced and it was cooked so that all blended flavours were still in tact. Just delicious, almost made me want to order a second one. My daughter had a nasi, indonesian flavoured burger and this too was perfect and cooked just right. We're still talking about these burgers a year later, so that should tell you something. Other than that, lovely place, great hospitality, fine price quality balance for a place in Zermat, It was a bit of a search for the bathrooms downstairs is all.
