It seems to me that they are not honest, they served me a plate of crushed clams, they couldn't be eaten even though I told the waiter who admitted that I was right because a customer had already complained, not having eaten them, they made me pay the amount of the dish. ... I'm never going back there again..

I'm not crazy about the pizza, but the service was impeccable. Maybe a little expensive for Giubiasco...

Good lasagna but with mozzarella, typical of Southern Italy. Huge pizza that overflowed from the plate making it difficult to cut and cluttering up the table causing everything it touched to fall while cutting but good.

Overall the food is good, but nothing spectacular. The food is good but the quality is not the best. Too bad they never change the menu of the day. I recommend visiting it if you are in the area, it is certainly the best restaurant in Giubiasco

I ordered a chicken salad without olives. Upon delivery of the dish, the waiter says "you have a chicken salad without olives"... too bad that olives were actually hidden behind the chicken. I reported the error and they were ready to make me a new salad. To avoid waste, I said that I would eat it anyway, moving the olives aside... (note, however, that part of the salad had been separated by a flavor that I don't like very much). It's a shame to be charged full price though!! Considering the considerable cost for 2 salad leaves and a few pieces of chicken (23.-) after such a mistake and the gesture on my part, a small discount would have been appreciated... In my opinion a slip!!!

Several outdoor parking spaces, nearby there is a public car park. Modern and very well renovated rooms. Staff quite friendly but absent, they rarely came to see if we wanted to order something else or more drinks. Price too high.

Portions for children, prices exaggerated compared to the quality of the food and service. Beef fillet (300g) was perhaps 300g with the side dish included. Pumpkin ravioli with only the pumpkin flower. Overcooked roast beef and the chips, on two plates, were almost a normal portion. Pizza nothing special.

An insult to catering!!!!!! First time: restaurant with maybe 15 people in total. There were 4 of us, ordered 3 pastas and a carpaccio. Remarkably mediocre food. Waited 40 minutes to get 3 out of 4 dishes, my pasta arrived when the other 3 had practically finished eating. Furthermore, the dishes were missing ingredients that were present in the description on the menu. This is a fraud. By law, the dish that arrives at the table must contain EVERYTHING that is written on the paper! Second time...yes, we tried again. Empty restaurant, there are still 4 of us. Ordered 4 pizzas, 3 of which arrived wrong and the fourth got lost between the pizzeria and the terrace. The pizza is also quite mediocre. Friendly but highly incompetent staff. Needless to say, I won't set foot there again. I'm in the industry and I was ashamed of that massacre. It is a mockery of all restaurants, which every day dedicate effort, body and soul into what they do, to give moments of happiness to too many customers. A "restaurant" like this should only and exclusively close!!!!!

It's a place I often frequent for pizza. I've usually always felt good. This time I didn't enjoy the evening. The terrace is located next to the very busy road and gets too noisy. I got a pizza and I wasn't satisfied. I will definitely come back. It's a restaurant I recommend if you're inside.

Disappointed. Scaloppina asparagus and new potatoes at 39 fr I expected something refined. The portion was very (too) modest and I don't eat much. But quantity doesn't matter if there is quality. Unfortunately I didn't even find quality. The potatoes had a fishy taste and smell, in my opinion therefore cooked on a pan in which the fish had been cooked. I didn't complain because it was edible but I'm unlikely to return.

It was a wonderful evening! The service was absolutely perfect, very friendly and accommodating! The food was very tasty and served quickly! I can't understand why this ristorante only has a 4.2 in the rating - it was much better, at least a 4.7! Thank you very much!

Both the pizzas and the cuisine are of good quality. The staff is very kind. The prices are honest.

I had lunch there because I was hungry after a long drive from Lake Constance to Ticino. Shortly after I sat down, I was served. The Pizza Diavola was also on the table in no time. It was very good and a little too much even for a very hungry person. The waitress was also very polite and understood her business. The pizza plus two 0.25dl beers cost 30.-. There are a handful of parking spaces in front of the house. If these are occupied, there is a large parking lot about 100m away. Cost 1.- per hour.

The food is great, but the hospitality is questionable. They don’t care of informing the customer if they run out of toppings, instead they prepare the pizza without it and hope the customer doesn’t notice. If you tell them they seem not to care. Kind of cheating. I like to be treated honestly.

I remembered that the Sole restaurant had one of the best pizzas in the Bellinzona area... but yesterday I think I ate the piadina, because you can't call it pizza, it's the driest and most tasteless I've ever eaten! It's a shame because the place is also nice and the waiters are very kind.

On November 17th, 2022 at 6:15 p.m. the two of us entered the Sol restaurant to celebrate an anniversary with good food and wine. The restaurant was empty except for 2 people. A waiter with a beard came and asked, without greeting us, what we wanted. I told him we wanted to eat something. He said in a harsh tone: Kitchen doesn't open until half past six. Okay, we can wait these 15 minutes, where can we sit. He assigned us a table for two just around the corner to the right near the main entrance. This table was sandwiched between the bench and a jar full of cork cones. I tried to sit down there, but being almost 190 cm tall, I couldn't squeeze my legs in there. I asked for another seat and the waiter, apparently offended, slammed the menu on the table from a meter away and ran away. It seemed he didn't agree with the change of assigned table. He also said something that I didn't understand, but it sounded very insulting. We stood there dumbfounded and didn't understand his bad-tempered behavior. Okay, if a customer isn't wanted because it means work, we wanted to relieve the grumpy waiter and left the restaurant. In another restaurant we found a good meal with customer-friendly service. In the other reviews I read several times that the service in the Sol restaurant was often poor. On other days, however, very good. The good reviews were probably written when the bearded waiter was free. It seems that the waiter has missed his job and should better choose a job where he doesn't have to deal with customers, such as being a shepherd on a remote alpine pasture.

Ideal place for a dinner with friends

Dinner with a friend.... Good pizza.... I noticed that there is no vegetarian dish on the menu.... Only Kamut pasta.... In all restaurants nowadays they have a choice of vegetarian dishes too... Too bad.... Being a vegetarian I could only opt for a pizza🤗.... I hope in the future to be able to enjoy dishes like this too😊

The restaurant doesn't have a lot of charm (especially the outside area). The food was generally good. The pizza was huge. The salad was a little lacking in sauce. The service was extremely taciturn (regardless of whether we spoke Italian or English). So there is room for improvement here.

The pizza is good, but the service is not so good. Let's start from the fact that it's not just the pizza chef who fills the pizza... In fact, the pizza with carpaccio and rocket is completed by the waiters who shortly before have served the tables, cleared the table or otherwise; the raw meat taken without gloves and placed on the pizza together with the rocket! Furthermore, once served at the table together with the chilli, the latter was immediately taken away from us again to go to another table, and at the end of the meal they even asked us to move to make room for other people waiting, without having asked us first if we wanted anything else (i.e. coffee or dessert). We left disappointed!

The restaurant is always very well attended, especially by the local population. Service was nice and good. The beef was way too big for me. Half would have been enough for me; For example, you could have published less than CHF 40 for this (because it is smaller). The sauce on the beef tasted like a ready-made sauce to me. But the meat was good. Fries were OK. I really enjoyed the dessert (nougat ice cream).

Unfortunately a huge disappointment, I think these are not the same hosts as in the great reviews before. Service was almost non-existent, we understand if things aren't always quick in rush hour, but it was just 20 minutes of being ignored until we at least got something to drink after 30, well, then the food...everything was very salty, carbonara very oily, risotto no taste, as if it came straight from the Uncle Benz package, fruti di mare not really fresh and so barely boiled. This experience was a real shame as the restaurant was highly recommended to us. Hopefully we had just had a bad day, the ambience itself was actually very appealing.
