Great food and service, beautiful view, I would love to come back.

We have never, or certainly rarely, eaten such good Älplermagrone and have never, or certainly rarely, had it served so thoroughly and charmingly👌

We had an iced coffee that wasn't. A cup with coffee ice cream, some cream, two chocolate coffee beans and a small waffle… unfortunately not recommended at all

Hearty restaurant with friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The potato salad had little taste and the Älplermagronen were served as croissants with bizzeli cheese and onions. For me this has nothing to do with the traditional Swiss dish. The location is great

Highly recommended! An “insider tip” with fine food and a good selection of drinks. The dishes are fresh and finely prepared and beautifully presented. The view is great and the children can play. Access is via a one-way street. Payment only possible in CASH. Very friendly service and host.

Were there on Sunday. Would be a nice economy. However, the service and the food were disastrous. Älplermagronen were just croissants with some cheese on them and onions on top. That has absolutely nothing to do with Älplermagronen! There was also a small bowl of applesauce for 4 people. 72 Fr for that. It's an impudence to ask! Besides, we were all still hungry afterwards.

It was a very pleasant atmosphere and the service was courteous. We had enough time to look at the menu and didn't have to wait long before we could place our order. The drinks and food came quickly.

Wonderful alpine farm in the most beautiful location. The absolute world's best Älpler Magronen. There again today (10/16/19) and had a wonderful meal! What? Of course Älpler Magronen with schnitzel 😊😊👍👍👍👌

After the balloon ride, we enjoyed a delicious platter in an idyllic atmosphere. Portion was very generous.

Wir hatten Rehpfeffer mit Beilagen a discretion. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Der Rehpfeffer war niemals Rehpfeffer, die Sauce war optisch und geschmacklich sehr komisch. Es erinnerte uns eher an eine dünne Bratensauce. Das Fleisch war geschmacklich OK. Wir fanden es ungewöhnlich, dass wir am Fleisch noch die Knochen selbst wegnehmen und abknabbern mussten. Auch das es Teigwaren als Beilagen gab, war für uns speziell, wenn sie noch nach etwas geschmeckt hätten. Das Rotkraut war mit Kümmel versetzt, ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Das Rotkraut und Teigwaren waren sehr schnell aufgegessen und es gab nur noch ganz wenig Nachschub aus der Küche, obwohl wir "a discretion" bestellt hatten. Die Getränkebestellungen dauerten immer sehr lange. Der Service war freundlich und das Ambiente passt in die Gegend. Wir würden zum Wildessen nicht mehr dorthin gehen.

Good food, especially the älplermagronen

Ob Aelplermagronen, Fitnessteller oder ein kaltes Plättli, wir kehren immer wieder gerne in der "Ochsenfeissi", wie die Einheimischen das Restaurant nennen, ein.Am Schönsten ist es natürlich, wenn man draussen sitzen kann, vorne oder hinten. Und im Herbst ist es ein Geheimtipp für Wildliebhaber. Leider meistens ausgebucht.
