So we had a large group (25+ family members) booked the group house right next to the Sonnenhütte. Very fast, friendly and precise communication in preparation for our stay! And the house itself - a very beautiful, special, old house with character and incomparable views. Everything cared for and preserved with love. Highly recommended for large and small group events.

The Sonnenhütte is easily accessible, has a great view and - most importantly of course - a good menu. The service seemed a bit disorganized, but the waitress was very friendly and the food was good! So, in my opinion a good place to eat something small or larger - the Älplerschnitzel (baked with bacon & onions and cheese) was really delicious!

I feel great at the Sonnenhuette, since they opened we like to go, especially on Sundays for lunch or sometimes even in the evening. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and taste some very good dishes, such as entrecote on lava stone, roesti or fondue. The staff is kind and very welcoming, meanwhile I know the whole team, they are so nice! The prices are also affordable and the comparison with the quality is excellent. For me, my wife and my dog ​​the best mountain restaurant there is in central Switzerland. We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for over 12 years and have never been disappointed. The landlady Ramona and her team are always in a good mood and ready to have fun. You just feel “AT HOME”. The “Hot Stone” is highly recommended. It's a huge portion of very good beef, large salad and fries and every now and then you get the feeling that the scales in the kitchen aren't right. The amount of meat is definitely always more than ordered. The journey from Zug is worth it just because of the friendliness of the staff, the good food and the beautiful view. The various business lunches that I held in the Sonnenhütte were always a success. A little tip to the reader: If you want to experience a perfect starry night, go to this restaurant on a winter evening and enjoy the stars on the terrace. It is indescribably beautiful. l haven't been here for a while, now the quality gone right down the . drain. THE WORST FONDU I HAVE EVER HAD IN SWITZERLAND. (and l have been here for 20 years!) It was like some liquid sauce with some taste, hardly any cheese in it. It's really a great shame. l liked this place alot before, but now wouoe never come back again. (maybe just for coffee is OK!) 😅

Very fine food (entrecote on the hot stone + cream slices by the meter...), great service, very flexible organization and simply a great hut! Happy to come back another time :-). PLAYGROUND: is no longer ok, but very varied. ‼️Just… new things would be appropriate. Because a few things are defective and no longer safe. A playground renovation is worth it here.‼️ LOCATION: top with a beautiful view. PARKING: it has it. With payment. DISTANCE: The distance from the parking lot to the restaurant is 222 meters. The group house to rent is so crooked. The movement is reminiscent of a ship with steady waves. The floor and the stairs creak like crazy. The toilets are so narrow that you can hardly turn, turn or move. The price asked here is exorbitant. If you rent something like that, you expect that you can be outside until xy o'clock or open end and not have to pay extra money for it. But no, at 10:09 p.m. a phone came saying we were no longer allowed to use the terrace or it would cost an additional 350fr. If you need a plaster, it costs 2fr for 1 piece of firewood, etc, etc. . What's also not great is that if you rent the entire hut, the caretaker still has boards mounted on the facade when visitors are there. The sign about camera surveillance for vandalism is more of a farce, as the camera only serves the landlord to monitor the tenants. Because even if you parked the vehicle at the hut to unload all your luggage, you were immediately called and told that if the trunk wasn't open and it didn't look like you were unloading, you would be fined. Conclusion: for what is required here, there are better, more well-maintained accommodations

Super Aussicht, Personal etwas gestresst

Sehr schönes Local, runderherrum ekne wunderbare Aussicht, traumhaft. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich, nett und prompt parrat auch wenn sie viel zu tun haben bleiben sie sehr freundlich, das Essen was wir hatten Entrecote auf heissem Stein war extrem lecker, das allein kann man nur jedem empfehlen, bei der nächsten Mythenwanderung werden wir genau dort wieder Rast machen.

Supertypisches Berghütten feeling, hammer Aussicht, Essen war sehr gut und hat reichlich gehabt, nicht so wie es andere Hütten handhaben wo nur der Laufkunde als Finanzquälle angefertigt wird, Personal ist sehr freundlich auch wenn sie ziemlich am laufen sind und unter strom stehen. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen wenn man dort in der Region ist.

Einfach super, sehr feines Essen, freundliche Bedienung, herrliche Lage für Wanderungen und zum entspannen.

Aussicht genial, jedoch ist das Personal völlig überfordert. Mit nur 3 Personen verlieren Sie auf der Terrasse die Übersicht. Wir warteten geschlagene 40 Min um überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgeben zu können! Der ältere Herr an unserem Tisch wollte schon seit wir dort ankamen zahlen. Er hatte es 2x gesagt, wir haben es selber gehört. Die Bedienungt hat genickt, doch passiert ist nichts. Er ist dann selber aktiv geworden und ist rein gegangen. Das Essen (Fittnessreller) war gut. Aber der Apfelsaft (Schorle) war warm! Also bitte, was soll das? Mit 3 zusätzlichen Personen könnte man dem sicher abhelfen ... und auch mehr Umsatz generieren, denn teilweise standen Tische frei, aber noch nicht abgeräumt. Leute standen am Eingang, aber mit COVID durften Sie nicht rein, weil nur durch das Personal eine Zuteilung möglich war (Aufnahme der Personalien). Das ist vorbildlich gelöst! Noch einen Tipp an den Besitzer ... wenn die ältere Kellnerin die Maske nur halb aufhat( Nase draussen) nützt das Teil rein gar nichts und ist eine Zumutung für die Gäste! Ich nehme jedoch die Kellnerin in Schutz, weil Sie als Wirt sind für das Personal und die Gäste verantwortlich!!! Stellen Sie mehr Personal ein. Seit 5 Std (seit 10 Uhr morgends) sind die 3 Kellnerinnen nur noch rum gerannt. Wir waren gut 1.5 Std dort und konnten uns davon überzeugen, dass Sie die Wahheit gesagt hat
