The avo on toast with eggs and tomatoes was beautifully presented, nicely seasoned and very tasty. A great place for a late breakfast and to stop and sip a coffee and read a book.

I loved this place! Best part of our trip for sure. They treated us to great Negronis, local whiskeys, and a “Willy Wonka” that I will always associate with Interlaken.

The staff were unfriendly and had different treatment towards foreign costumers. They asked for cash payment and when I said I only had card they charged me extra fees. We asked for coffee in a take away cup and when we sat outside she asked us to leave because we ordered coffee in a "takeaway cup" which didn't make any sense because I am a costumer regardless of what type of cup I asked for.

I usually come to this Cafe as they serve good coffee, but last time I really had bad experience with the lady waitress she was not welcoming and she literally ask us to leave because we ordered take away coffee although we were their customers!!! Also they asked me to pay in cash and they extra charged me for card payment?! I don't understand this treatment and I don't recommend it

A must stop in Interlaken. We went for breakfast both days we stayed here and WOW! Amazing food! A must have for all traveling foodies out there! Best chocolate croissants ever but you must get there at 9 as they usually sell out quick!

We arrived yesterday and it is our second day back here. It's a super nice restaurant, stylish atmosphere and good music. We recommend trying the soups of the day, which are delicious. Also ice tea and coffee.

What a perfect evening at Jan im Spatz. It's always a wonder how I'm surprised there with the perfect recommendations of the various wines and cocktails. If you're looking for a perfect start to the evening, this is the place for you.

The place is imaginative, but the service is bad. The employee talks to you in a rude manner. It is not my habit to comment, but you went to the restaurant and it was not good, and the food was already prepared and they took it out of the refrigerator and the eggs were cold. May God keep it a blessing, an experience that will never be repeated.

My mother and I went to breakfast, and we rolled out!! I had heard about this sandwich and I loved it!! (10 CHF, very cheap for how big it is!) We are Spanish and the ice spanish latte was very delicious:) the place is a little secret of the city, the attention of the staff is extremely genuine and you can see dedication and love both in the menu as in the place. I'm sure the rest of the menu is equally good, it's not your typical place that sells anything. It is eaten very well. If you really want a special place with a very human and unique energy, this is your place. Of course I will return, to see how the rest of the options are. Also the place is beautiful near the river. A 10/10!

The view is amazing. I tried cappuccino and pastries like croissant dough stuffed with chocolate. I don’t know the name of it, but it was normal. There was no distinctive taste. If I go back to it, it’s possible just for the view.

So you get a verry delicate tasting Hand crafted coffe. If your willing to pay for good work, you get a special coffe. If not just enjoy a different one from the Menu.

This was the BEST part of our food/wine journey while in Switzerland! The setting was incredible and will be a highlight of my memories with this trip. The drinks and tapas are excellent! The staff was hands down the best we had while traveling in the area for 10 days. One suggestion...make it no-smoking outside while seated and this will be perfect!! Can't wait to come back from the States to visit again!

Cute little corner cafe/bar by the river with a nice view of the mountain owned by Jan who’s very warm and friendly. Went once for brunch and once for evening drinks. They many coffee choices and a whole lot more of alcoholic beverages. Single origin drip coffee was good! For evening drinks, i got Negroni Sbagliato, which had a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness, while their Tropical Vibes mile was very refreshing! Highly-recommended indeed!

The place is very beautiful, directly on the river. I had an Americano and a latte and the taste was excellent. It is worth a visit. The owner of the café is a helpful person and helps you with the beautiful places in Interlaken. The bathroom in the café is clean.

Popped in for coffee, ended up staying for a light lunch with wine. Delicious anti-pasti platter and a small but well curated wine list. They leave the bottles with you and weigh them at the end so you pay only for what you drink. Fabulous service and picturesque location
