SPYROS-GYROS in Bern

My favourite take out place at the moment. The chicken is always freshly grilled and the Tzatziki is housemade aswell. Super delicious overall and money well spent.

I just had chicken with halloumi and Revithokeftedes to try for the first time. Damn delicious. I'll take more of it. I had it to pick up, so I can't say anything about the ambience.

Gyros are great, but the waiting time is incredibly long. Eating a gyro quickly at lunchtime is not possible.

Delicious food but unfortunately the portions are too small. The biggest negative point, however, is the incredibly long waiting time at lunchtime. It quickly becomes apparent that they are completely overwhelmed... I would like to go more often, but I don't feel like spending half of my lunch break waiting.

Food is good and price is okay. A few hours after eating, 2 out of 3 had grumbling stomachs. No service outside, also intended more to go?!

The chicken gyros has been delicious. You should definitely go to the gyros box. There is a lot of meat. You get even the pita bread so you can make your own and you still have all ingredients as a dessert. 😀 Everything is fresh and very hot when you get it. The tsatsiki were awesome.

The food was good, but nothing outstanding. If you're looking for an alternative to kebab, you've definitely come to the right place. I think I would definitely go there again. I don't even know if you're allowed to sit and eat there because it's right next to a shisha bar.

Small corner, gyros are tasty but too big, you can't eat them on the go.

The best gyros in Bern! The bread is super soft and the meat is very tender. I recommend it 100%.

Small but nice snack. Proper gyros. Not like other snack bars that offer a “gyros version” of a kebab. Best bread with best tzatziki.

The ultimate alternative to the late night kebab. The ingredients are quality, well seasoned, well cooked, hot and well balanced. Where an average döner (especially in Switzerland) sometimes leaves us disgusted and dripping with grease, the gyros here is a treat from start to finish. Be careful, no real place to eat, better to take away.

Currently only offers chicken gyros and fallafel, so why is it called gyros pita ???? No pork for the gyros on offer, maximum impudence if you feel like a gyro. If I had known that I would have gone to a shawarma snack bar. I have heard several complaints from other customers. Out of disappointment I went to Migros and bought a pretzel with ham and bacon. I won't go here anymore!!!

Friendly & fast service. Food is prepped on the Spot, so steaming hot when you get it. French Fries crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. Chicken is moist & lightly seasoned. Tzatziki fresh. Pita on the side not bad ( pan Grilled before serving). 20chf for a chicken Gyros Box. Unfortunately no nice spot to sit ( more of a takeaway). Would come here again & highly recommend it.

The Gyros Chicken is very tasty. Homemade bread, including very delicious homemade sauce. Improvement: Unfortunately closed for the afternoon. Also only pay via Twint or cash. If necessary, insert a card. Otherwise fine restaurant.

The restaurant is open ! It's a shame that there are no consistent opening times. At Eat.ch you don't know whether you can order or not... please adjust

Fine gyros in Bern, had the gyros with halloumi for 10.-. Amount of halloumi perfect, could be a little spicier and fries a little crunchier, but I'll definitely be back.
