Very good restaurant, we went there twice during our stay in Interlaken. The ambiance is very nice and cozy, food is original. The fondue was good, lighter than usual.

So the food was ok. But the service from the lady was very arrogant and cheeky. We were served in the evening.

Well located, enough parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Home cooking.

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend to go here for dinner and drinks, the staff are so friendly. I had the breaded crumbed chicken and it was the crunchiest chicken crumb I’ve ever had. So delicious! We shared the gluten free apple fritters and the were delicious too!

The food is delicious, the place is clean and tidy, the service is 👍🏻, but the treatment was less friendly, perhaps due to the pressure of work.

We came for the fondue because we read a lot of good things on Google. It was delicious, of course a lot, but unfortunately there are only 4 stars here because there were a lot of “pickles”, such as pickled carrots, onions and other things, but unfortunately for my partner there were no simple cornichons or pickled cucumbers. Otherwise everything was great, because the two people at the service were nice, a bit on the ball, but there was also a lot going on. Nevertheless, I found the employees to be friendly. There are even hot water bottles if you want to sit outside!

The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. It seems like there are a lot of local customers.

Very nice restaurant, both modern and traditional ambience. Service was friendly and rapid. The food was very good, just the right amount. The green salad was incredible: lots of it, with micro greens and seeds. My rösti were a bit too crunchy on the edges and quickly got cool but good nonetheless. Cooking and serving them in a small iron pan would have kept them warmer. My partner got the lamb and was very happy. The Kaiserschmand as dessert, although not very Swiss but from Bayern, was super good (we shared and it was more than enough). Prices were...well typically Swiss... We will go back.

We found the meat very hard and tasteless! Even the hamburger, for the price, was nearly inedible! Service took a long time. I think the waitress was learning because she couldn’t really answer but then it became ridiculous because both the manager and her started talking German and laughing. It was incredibly pricey for the quality of the food. So many other nice restaurants to go to instead!

The three of us had dinner for my birthday, I was very happy. Unfortunately, my (us) joy was immediately taken away because the service was really extremely unfriendly! The water hit the table so that we were all shocked. She couldn't even really look you in the eyes... we must have waited 15 minutes before we could even order the food. The food was good, only the salad was very watery and had almost no sauce. P.s It really takes a lot for me to write a bad comment. We even briefly considered leaving and not eating any more.

Particularly good hash browns and dessert. Pleasant atmosphere in the Unterseen town house. However, the service could have been friendlier.

We ordered a serving of fondue to share between the two of us. And we were billed twice the price. On asking, the server mentioned that the one we were served was a double serving. We were very clear about what we wanted, but the server didn’t mention about how it worked there. The fondue was great but didn’t leave a good taste in our mouth.

Sorry, the service was bad and not friendly. The venison schnitzel was not tender and the rest was overcooked. Too bad... won't come back

We visited during the Christmas market in late November. There are great vendors, lots of food & drink options.

Nothing to complain about, we eat local and it's very good. I recommend.

What a find! We were looking for a nice local restaurant in Interlaken, which was very difficult. We were about to leave and what a surprise to find this magnificent place! I don't see why there are comments against the staff. No racism on the contrary. The Head of the Line or Manager (mister in his fifties, with short hair) was very friendly and cheerful! We tried to speak German and he French! We had a pleasant time thanks to this succulent meal at 2:30 p.m. and the very Swiss mountain and local atmosphere. We highly recommend it! Been here 3 times so far. The fondue is highly recommended. As a local resident, the prices are not unusual for me, but strangers seem to be put off by them. For my part, I have always been very satisfied, both with the service, food and the location itself, and would therefore always come back.

Horrible experience. We arrived at 8:30pm (shuts at 10pm) and immediately felt unwelcome and as though we had inconvenienced them by arriving for dinner. Proceeded to be sat on a random bench with staff cutlery despite plenty of available and set tables. We were rushed to order and not even given the entire menu to choose from and had to specifically ask for fondue. During our meal the waitstaff literally began packing up for the night putting pillows and blankets on our “table”. Really disappointed in the service, felt incredibly rushed and rude staff left the whole experience tasting sour.

I went there today, the food was bad, the fondue was very salty, the cheese and the person who served us was very racist, I don't recommend it.

The fondue is so salty and way too expensive. They gave the swiss people free water and we're very nice with them, but were rude to the tourists and charged us for everything. If you aren't from here. Don't bother with this restaurant. Even the beer was bad

I had a menu with a very good soup, mushroom pasta, the drink was normally included in the price and the dessert added...except that the menu at 23FS cost me 38€50! Double because in the end they added the drink 4.40 and the dessert a13 that makes a menu at double the price!!! To be careful

The Gordon Bleu had a strange taste, the meat was stringy and I felt sick after eating it and had cramps all night!

Was not informed that one had to buy 2 fondue if 2 people were going. The hotel staff did not inform the same and served 2 fondue when we asked for 1

What a wonderful experience, an amazing heavenly delicious Fondue and Rosti, syperyum and amazingly seviced, loved the ambience and traditional delicacy at it's best!!!!

We visited for dinner and wanted to try local traditions food, waiter said no table available and we need to book in advance but they had so many tables available inside we waited a bit then they found a table for us we stayed there till 9pm and the tables inside were still available and no one came!!? We felt been treated deferentially from local people. We move to the food she took the order after 10 minutes waiting I had pork cordon bleu was disposed the presentation was very poor compared to the price the crumbs was burned, chips were bad quality . Don’t recommend at all there’s plenty good restaurants in the area with better customer service So don’t waste your time and money!?

Very nice a bit waiting for food but really nice

We decided to visit this place after the favorable reviews. The waiter was very nice and helpful. We ordered Swiss potato pancakes, which were very tasty, slightly too greasy. We were a little disappointed with the cheese board we got. €21 for a few slices of one type of cheese is a bit too expensive in my opinion. Despite everything, we liked it very much and we will go further. Good food with a nice view. There is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant.

We loved this town and place to grab some drinks and local food. It’s the best restaurant in town in my opinion. We went once for dinner and next night for desserts . Yum ! (I forgot to take food pics- sorry Dotte!)

Mega Rips - heard a lot about them and taste great. They can be easily removed from the bone and the sauce that goes with them is a poem. If you're in the mood for really good rips - head to Unterseen! Great attentive service, nice to sit in and not as touristy as many things in Interlaken. Also cool and welcome with kids. We'll be back ♥️

Recommended if you want to eat authentic Swiss cuisine. Both the hamburgers and the barbecue ribs are good. On the other hand, the steak tartare is quite basic, I don't recommend it at all. There is a nearby parking lot. The waiters' service is polite. A non-touristy place.

Good food, average service. One thing we ordered was forgotten and then we had to ask for the bill twice and in the end I went to pay it myself.

Going to eat Cordon Blue. The dish tasted good, but a salad was missing from the dish.

The fondue is so salty that I can't eat it. Are you serious that it's delicious? I've lived in Germany for a long time, so I eat salty food, but I don't know why this is so salty. I just tried fondue when I came to Switzerland. I'll just eat it somewhere else.

Lovely place, but unfortunately the service was slow, and food was variable with fondue average, kids meals ok and a great burger. Would have been ok with all of this even at the exorbitant price but then they charged us $9F for a bottle of tap water, claiming it was flat mineral water. Left a bad taste in our mouths, even worse than the fondue.

The service and atmosphere was nice but the quality of food was really not good. Oily and not fresh If you tried Swiss food before, you can see the difference

The food was amazing. We had the cordon bleu and raclette rösti and they were both very tasty. The raclette just flows once you cut open the cordon bleu.

Highly Disappointed. Pathetic Cheese Fondue that is highly expensive at this place. Also, no manners on how to serve a customer......dark haired waitress was racist ...... completely ruined my meal SHAME ON YOU GUYS

Both the schnitzel and raclette were delicious! However, due to the nature of the food, it was greasy, and prices in Switzerland are crazy, but this place was especially expensive. Still, if you want to try Swiss food, I recommend it! Oh, and there were so many flies when I sat on the terrace.

We arrived early and started with some drinks and a snack, when we wanted to order for dinner and more drinks we were told our tabled was reserved in 30 minutes. Strange. No alternative was offered, we left.

I was actually just there to drink tea, but next time we'll definitely treat ourselves to something to eat too. It looked promising.

We tried the traditional cheese fondue without alcohol, it came with potatoes, bread and pickles. It was actually nice. There was a minimum portion to order which is order for 2 and it was enough for the 3 of us. The food is delicious and filling. You should ask for the minimum amount for two people, and the quantity is enough for the three of us. We ordered it without alcohol

The hostess was rude, service was slow. I ordered the meatloaf and it was disgusting, processed meat. I had high expectations but tastes like rubber.

Opens early but the kitchen doesn't open till 12. Came back later that day had great service a liter of beer and good snacks. Would recommend.

Extremely unfriendly employees. Hardly any of them can speak German. Miki and what was said don't match. They are very slow and don't come when you want to order. You practically have to get them. 2 out of 5 stars. Food is good, the rest is snot

we loved our fondue dinner at stadthaus! staff was very friendly. service was timely and attentive. fondue was extremely delicious. atmosphere was fun and lively. we sat at the bar and had a great experience. highly recommend making a reservation as they are very busy and aren’t able to accommodate walk ins for most of the evening.

Traditional food I had scnitchel which was thin and not stringy well cooked the fries were excellent watered down with a beer average menu prices for main 40 chf plenty of parking (paid) next door

A bit of a tourist trap, the service is ok. The company ate the garden salad which was good. The raclette was mediocre, unfortunately.

The food was really good so far, unfortunately the service wasn't that great that day, but that doesn't always have to be the case. Definitely worth a visit just to grab something to eat.

Well don’t go here if you want a coffee. A barely warm, dilute cappuccino with too much chocolate powder thrown on. No care or interest in orders. We also ordered a latte but it looked the same as a cappuccino. Miserable, unfriendly and incompetent service. I have a feeling this is a local hangout and they don’t want out of towners.

Unfortunately the carbonara (lunch menu from February 1st, 2023) was spoiled. But you couldn't smell it because it had a huge pepper note. I then lay flat for 10 days with food poisoning. BUT the ice tea was good.
