We came for the spare ribs which had such good reviews. For me they were ok, not dry and a good portion. Without the sauce they wouldn't have been edible for me. The meat had a strange taste, I've definitely had better. Mac & Cheese was very tasty and the burger with fries was also good. The portion sizes are really great for the price, you'll feel full. What should be highlighted is the super friendly, courteous and good-humored staff. We were warmly welcomed and said goodbye. So we would definitely come back.

Poor staff at brunch. A milk drink with lactose-free milk or alternative without lactose is not offered because otherwise you have to pour the rest down the drain. Allergies have to take a back seat. But you can safely throw away the rest of the buffet, it's no problem there. The waffle iron breaks during Sunday brunch and you don't have a replacement. No defect sign, no information. The waffle dough is missing and the sheet with the self-application is simply turned over. The somewhat puzzled customers are not informed. There's a better way to do it Stars&Stripes! It's a shame, the rest was actually average. Filling up the empty buffet just takes time. .

The Swiss Burger was super tasty and the team was very nice and helpful. We will be eating at Stars and Stripes again soon!!!

I was here for lunch and ordered the Stars Burger from the daily menu. The taste was nothing special, the fries were okay and the salad dressing wasn't tasty. The atmosphere was typically American and definitely the “highlight” of the visit.

Elvira served us and we were very satisfied with the very friendly service. The food was very good, but unfortunately the fries were a little too salty.

All good for Saturday Evening. Frau Elvira is friendly, respectful and efficient. Liked it !

Food wasn't great. Got the ribs one portion had meat and the other half was only bone.

We often go to Stars and Stripes but since it has new staff we have been neglected. We were there this evening and ordered “all you can eat”. It took a long time for the food to arrive and the staff was completely overwhelmed. There were only two people serving in the entire restaurant and that was definitely too much work for them. Dear Elvira, every customer is king. Elvira charged us 40.- more and added things to the bill that we didn't even have. And then she said she could give us a voucher. NO, it is your fault and you are responsible for ensuring that we get the correct invoice and then you have to make sure that if you calculate incorrectly, you give us the money back and stay nice.

Slow service! Although half of the tables were empty, we waited 50 minutes to receive our food. The waiters weren’t polite as well.

The Stars and Stripes Brütten used to be the best in Switzerland, unfortunately the quality and size of the portions have decreased massively at a higher price. Now we were in Opfikon again and I have to say that the price is right for the service.

The brunch on Sunday is super varied, delicious and there was a bit of everything until the end. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating. The decoration 🤠👢 is the icing on the cake. As a German, it's difficult to estimate whether the price of 45 francs is appropriate, but I'll be happy to come back next time I'm in Zurich.

I ate mac n cheese and chicken fingers last night and threw up in the restaurant toilet less than 30 minutes later. After that I felt bad all evening. The mac n cheese was super oily. Service was nice but forgot about us most of the time.

Cool American style restaurant with fine burgers & Co. The restaurant is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The service is top and friendly. The food is super delicious. All highly recommended. Plenty of parking spaces in the underground car park or outside in the immediate vicinity. Seating outside in summer or when the weather is nice. Top@, keep it up. A typical Mex-Tex restaurant. Not only is the decor rustic, but also the food, which is fine. The kitchen delivers quickly and the food comes to the table nice and hot. The service staff tries hard and sometimes has a hard time, and is understaffed when there is good occupancy. What is striking is the constant change in personnel, which I have noticed for four years. - Opening times vary depending on occupancy. You can do that, but from my point of view it is wrong: if after the main course it is explained to me that the kitchen no longer delivers anything.

We went to Stars&Stripes Glattpark for brunch for the third time and it was great again. Staff very friendly and quick, location has a great interior design concept, food was great. We find value for money unbeatable

Very nice restaurant with cheerful and quick service. A lot of attention has been paid to the atmosphere, which makes it a truly American diner. Fairly extensive menu with dishes from all regions of the USA.

Very bad, by calling the cameraman he understood that it was offensive and he got into an argument with us who are tourists, the margarita and the mojitos were very bad. There is a need for management in that place.

Went there for brunch, expecting a real american brunch. Everything is just store bought, nothing felt fresh. Was there around 11 and already the buffet was at least half empty and nothing got properly refilled. My recommendation, spend your money elsewhere, way too overpriced for what it was.

Totally overpriced (buffet 42.50.-) for what is offered to the guest: - 80% of the containers on the buffet were either completely empty or less than half full. I asked service to refill it as no one seemed to care. It took 20 minutes until the supply was slowly more or less refilled. - Reception brings us to the table without explaining how the concept/buffet works or taking drinks. We had to alert the service to order a coffee - Quality food: Nothing seemed homemade. From cookies to muffins to waffle mixture and jam, everything is purchased. I could have cooked myself a better, fresher, homemade breakfast at home. Shocking value for money

Beautiful restaurant with an incredibly good atmosphere. We arrived at a time when there were only a few guests, so therefore it looks a bit empty. The food was good and the portions were large. Our waiter was really funny and we had a lot of good laughs together. All in all, an excellent experience and if you are looking for an 'American experience', then Stars And Stripes is a good place! Good food and parking close by if you drive. Train line no. 10 runs right by.

They provide big buffet with fried eggs and vegetables, onions and different sausages. Good for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Classic breakfast with Gipfeli and jam you find too. Tea with Bergkräuter was very good. Thanks for the nice and very friendly service

We had one night in the city as part of a group tour and we saw the great commentsnof this nearby restaurant. All the positives are true. One specific staff member (did not catch his name unfortunately) was so accommodating and friendly as he assisted eight of us to sit outdoors without reservation so we could enjoy the evening over good drinks and beer. Very friendly person. The food was great, exactly what we were after, with good prices and options. Well worth it!
