The Burger is what it's about here. It's art. It's probably the best Burger I have ever had. Please don't change. Some feedback to the restaurant: - Interior design! Get someone to do it! - Air-conditioning! It's hot in there, and people will wash their clothes after a 1h meal. - Sides. The Burger is the magic. The fries are missing something. - You two are the highlight. Seing you work and interact gives an authentic experience. Dont forget that! Will come again, 💯

It was worth a visit, from the outside the location is rather inconspicuous. The burgers were simply perfect. What's special is that they make the iced tea themselves and pickle the cucumbers themselves. The rolls are also homemade and long-cooked. It's nice when you make so much of these products yourself - it has its price, but it tastes delicious and this taste experience remains.

A burger that is hard to beat. Fried pink, airy and crispy. The side dishes don't dominate and the mustard sauce is awesome. Even the fries, ketchup, etc. are homemade! The super friendly service completes the experience. Very, very happy again 😀 😀 😀

In terms of the overall product, these burgers are excellent, not in terms of the variety or the special selection, but in terms of every side dish, the patty and the buns are perfect, basically kept simple but each one perfectly coordinated. Steffens will be our new go-to restaurant when it comes to burgers.

Well, good idea with the special burgers. Bread is great, the meat didn't convince me. Fries were way too crispy, at least homemade. Sauces: mayo and house sauce great. Ketchup was good but didn't knock my socks off.

Casual atmosphere, friendly service and excellent burgers. Few special burgers and great classics. You can tell that the rolls, sauces, etc. are homemade. We'd love to come back!

This is literally the best burger in all of Switzerland. Everything from the bun, the the ketchup to the fresh ground meat- they do it ALL homemade and everything is done to perfection. I have had both an amazing burger and extremely kind and friendly service every single time I have come. The price of the food is incredibly reasonable. Genuinely I can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely amazing burgers. Everything is hand-made, including the ketchup, so it's all super high quality. The bärlauch burger is so tasty, and I would highly recommend it. If you're in Frauenfeld, or just passing through, it's a must go.

Our first visit was three years ago, but it was a nice experience. In the meantime we have exploited the entire menu with the exception of the tofu burger. Others can test this for us. The beauty of Steffens Burgermanufaktur is the simple concept and pursuit of homemade food. Regularly changing seasonal and special burgers invite guests to come back again and again with curiosity. Not in the mood for burgers? There are also chicken nuggets and spare ribs. Both alternatives are delicious, but you could play around with the spices a little more. At the beginning it didn't work out well with a few details. However, the deduction of one star is not because of this. More on that later. Concrete improvements were implemented within a very short time and the deficiencies mentioned were eliminated. Many thanks to the Datz family for their exemplary commitment. The price-performance ratio is good for homemade cuisine, but we find the non-homemade drinks simply too expensive for Frauenfeld. As a consolation, however, there has been a homemade iced tea for some time now. Simple, but tastes good. This is also where the first attempt with organic ingredients was made. It would be interesting, even if it was an experiment for just a short time, to offer the house burger and fries in organic quality. Finally, back to the rating, the deduction of one star has the following reasons: - Neither on site nor on the homepage can you tell what Steffen means by “high-quality” products. Unfortunately, there is also no declaration about meat or voluntary information about the other ingredients. - The sometimes stubborn reaction to feedback deprives many customers of the courage to mention anything at all. As an entrepreneur, you lose the most valuable free source of information. In our opinion, 5 stars are reserved for a perfect experience, but we feel that 4 stars is not enough. Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow us to give us a more precise rating other than full stars. In addition, the absence of artificial flavor enhancers is visually enhanced. So does this mean that natural flavor enhancers are still in play? :-) Just say 100% natural ingredients if that's the case. For new guests wondering if it's worth a visit: Grab your phone, reserve a few nice seats next to the kitchen and see for yourself. Right at the entrance you can watch the master preparing his food and for a little more peace and quiet there are 4 tables in a back room with a second exit to the inner courtyard someone needs some fresh air.

I ordered the winter burger, it was skillfully prepared with fresh products in 10 minutes, The taste experience was actually unique. But the price of 20 SFr. is quite ambitious.

The waiter was nice and the portions of the food were large. -2 stars because the beef patty was too oversalted and undercooked, had to drink a lot after the meal. With such high prices you have to keep things under control with the amount of salt, grilling time of the patties, etc.

Good hamburgers are a simple matter. And these hamburgers are very good. Good paddy, tender juicy meat, very fine mayonaise, very good ketchup with a subtle vegetable taste, not as sweet as the industrial mush. Fresh onions, crispy fries. Salad with Italian sauce, delicate in taste, no industrial slime. Honestly, one of the best burgers I've eaten in the last 10 years. Great, really great.

Very fresh and delicious food!!! The service was super nice and the price/performance ratio was totally right! Definitely recommended! The only point of criticism: The toilet floor and the seat rings in the women's toilet were dirty. There was also no hand soap available. Before the restaurant opens, the toilets should have been cleaned and checked. We would still love to come back.

A very small, modest, inconspicuous hidden restaurant but O H O. Very personable male staff with exemplary friendliness. Cleanliness & first-class, contemporary, appropriate service. The food immediately stands out, unfortunately atypical for Switzerland, neither sweet nor sour, vinegar and cucumber-heavy but a perfection of the art of grilling with love, commitment and passion that could only be found in Germany/USA. For me the only option is a burger and fries and homemade mayonnaise that makes me dream and gives me hope. Thank you 🙏🏻 and let me come back at any time because the Swiss can never or don't want to cook or grill like that.

Super tasty burgers, everything really fresh and very well prepared, great selection and really nice service. Very central location in Frauenfeld. In summer there is even an outside seating area. Eating burgers is really fun! What is particularly great and worth mentioning are the fine beers that are available. Great selection!

I was intrigued by the good rating and started sceptical. I ordered the special burger and was curious about the honey melon on it. I never had any kind of melon on a burger. See cold melon was perfect on that burger. It's a warm day and it felt fresh and mixed nice with the overall burger. The meat was perfectly medium and just melted in my mouth. The bun was buttery and soft but strong enough to keep the burger together till the end. The homemade ice tea is also worth all of the 5 stars, not too sweet and with a clear note of the original tea. Overall I'm convinced and they deserve every good rating they got.

The burgers are amazing, for me some of the best burgers I've tried so far! Everything is homemade here, even the ketchup and mayo. The meat is very good. In addition to the standard burgers, the owners also constantly come up with new, varied and unusual variations. The special burger changes at regular intervals and there is a special burger for every season - autumn and winter burgers were excellent. There are also vegetarian burgers. Fries made fresh and also very tasty. Very friendly and courteous owners/employees.

Really delicious burgers... A small but very nice "burger joint". Here you can get burgers without any big frills, which I much prefer. Very classic, or even chicken or veggie. There is also a seasonal burger. The fries with it are awesome. A visit is always worthwhile.

I had the vegan burger and it would be nice if there was a second vegetarian option. I'm actually not a big fan of tofu in a burger bun but it was still very good. My colleagues who had a meat burger were thrilled. Unfortunately we couldn't try the french fries because they had run out. The ingredients were very fresh. I'll definitely come back!
