We were there on Saturday evening. All the outside seats were occupied; Reservation is necessary! Despite the many people, it was possible to have a good conversation. With children you could also visit the small zoo. Food was amazing! At our table we ordered vegetable plates, chicken wings, veal liver and steak, all with various side dishes. The evening was a great success. Definitely going back.

The food is good but it is too expensive. 8 chicken wings for 19 CHF is already too expensive and the fries were added for 6 CHF. The staff was friendly and the location is great too.

Price-performance-service is simply great. Every time we eat at a different restaurant, the Steinebühl team gets 1 star more because they are better. We are always happy to go there again and to be greeted and served like friends by the friendly team.

We celebrated our baptism there on May 21st with 30 people. We were so happy. The food was excellent and even over the top. The service was very nice and helpful. Didn't have to wait too much for food even though they were fully booked. I was so surprised when I got the bill. I would have thought it would have cost more for the large portions, but it wasn't expensive at all. The weather was just perfect too. We will definitely come back.

If you are a lover of butter liver, I was told you should go to Steinebühl, a popular nearby excursion destination on Siggenberg. We did that too and lo and behold, the butter livers were excellent and the somewhat simple location enticed us to linger and enjoy the sunny afternoon. We'll be back, next time because of the friendly service. Reinhold

Unfortunately this visit went wrong this time, reservations were made online on the website for 4 people, upon arrival there was a note on the door saying that it was company holidays, no information on the website.

A long time ago I had a dessert that was top notch. Last weekend I went there for lunch for the first time. The food tasted perfect and everything was right. Friendly and quick service despite the large number of guests. The food was also ready in no time. I would recommend a reservation on the weekend. There is enough parking space, although it can be scarce. The prices are completely right. I would like to come over again soon with my colleagues.
