Steiner-Beck AG in Frauenfeld

It's a shame, it looked good, but the Easter chüechli (16cm diameter) wasn't edible, smelled like old eggs and was nothing more than a kind of airy omelet... no one wanted to eat it. Were surprised, basically a good bakery and pastry shop.

Today I was really displeased and disappointed by behavior of your employee. I have been in you Bakery few times during my vaccation here in Switzerland and I really enjoyed every single visit of your Bakery. All changed today. I think that in the 21st century all people deserve to be treated equally, with respect, preserving their diginity. As a customers I expect higher standard of behavior from staff of any restaurant, shop, etc. I believe that this is a rare incident and that you will ensure that no other customer will be ever again exposed to such behavior by any of your employees.

Sensationally good bread from the wood-fired oven! This is another bakery that knows something about its craft. You can hardly find such fine breads anywhere these days. Very friendly and fast service! Coffee is also served there together with delicious pastries! Breakfast there is also excellent with a large selection of rolls. We love this business 😀😀 R + M Keller

I would give 10 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟...it's for me after work in the hospital the highlight of the beginning of the day... even MORE BEAUTIFUL ???? then it would be tacky....even on Sunday...If I don't have to work, I'll happily drive 54 KM just to buy your braid....Unfortunately, I had already found other bakeries near me...after 2 On days you can bring rolls and braids to the farmer for his horses 🐎 because it has become inedible... thank you again, I'll give it to you LG family Willam from Bottighofen

very unfriendly, arrogant saleswoman, misunderstood the order, ok, no problem. then misunderstood something again and packed two Weggli instead of one.

Very large and extremely tasty selection of breads, pastries and patisserie/sweet pastries. The accompanying coffee is cozy and the employees are authentic, natural, in a good mood and very friendly. Highly Recommended!

Great pastry shop! As an Austrian, it's really difficult to find good bakers and pastry chefs here in Switzerland... but this little shop in Frauenfeld is really great. And as a bonus, they're even open on Sundays! Really great.

Absolute rubbish if I could I wouldn't give any stars!!! I regularly go shopping at Steiner Beck. This will never happen again. You get a parking fine even though you were at Beck!!! These buses will not be taken back even though the car does not match the invoice.

I was able to enjoy a small breakfast here for my birthday and it was very tasty. Only the normal croissants weren't that good, but that's my taste. Very friendly service and the dessert that was taken away was also very tasty. I will definitely come by again.

It is a chain with various locations. If you're looking for the hand-baked specialty, you're in the wrong place, but you'll definitely find something else delicious.

Are you not allowed to drink coffee at your place? The young blonde waitress said "Oh, as always just a coffee!", this type of service is unacceptable. So please be nice to your customers, I won't drink your coffee for free!

I wanted to go for breakfast on Sunday. I made a reservation for this day in advance. But they registered the reservation on the wrong day. After a long wait it finally worked. I think it's a bit of a shame.

The best bakery in the area. Large and creative selection of salads, various pastries, patisserie, burgers, sandwiches, etc. A great selection even for people who don't eat meat.

Waited 15 minutes for a frappee at Steiner on Whit Monday. Two other customers waited about 1/2 hour for 2 scoops of ice cream. Things go faster in the public transport waiting room!!! Impossible! I'm definitely not going there again!

The store and location is great. Practical for drinking a coffee before an appointment. However, the parking situation is more difficult. The parking spaces often fill up very quickly. Likewise, it doesn't have a lot of indoor seating. Therefore, timing is crucial here. The quality of the products is good to very good. So far I've always been lucky and everything has been fresh and delicious. There is a deduction point for the fluctuating friendliness and service quality of the staff. Sometimes the staff seems a bit overwhelmed with serving at the counter and in the restaurant at the same time. However, this is certainly also due to the operational plan. It probably wouldn't hurt to use one more person every now and then. Overall a nice coffee/bakery with good quality. The service can still be worked on.

Bought chocolate cake and it was completely crumbly and bone dry. I suspect that it must have been an old tart or a thawed tart. It didn't have a production date or any other date on it. At a price of over 7 CHF it's a shame. I would also buy older products that are necessarily marked that way and are no longer sold at full price. It's really a shame that as a renowned bakery you don't pay better attention to labeling and freshness.

With an order of over 300.- I don't expect a bakery to make a mistake! Half of the plates were missing and the vegetable dip plate was not delivered! I tried to reach the person responsible, but in vain! Only bad!

I've been there for breakfast several times. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. The staff has a friendly approach to customers. Pre-orders were always provided satisfactorily and the ordering process (on site and by telephone) was uncomplicated. The bakery shop is an asset to our neighborhood!

I know Steiner Beck from the Zurich Oberland and really like their products. I am all the more pleased that there is now a branch that is a little closer. The products are fresh and very tasty, the wood-fired bread is a classic.
