Sun Peak Davos in Davos

After 20 minutes we were basically done here. It was clear that they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. As soon as we had finished one course, the next one was served, even though we asked for a 15-minute break before dessert.

Muchos asumirían automáticamente que eso significa el precio para dos personas. Este es realmente el precio POR PERSONA. Mi esposo y yo hemos viajado a menudo en Suiza y pensamos que ese era el caso. Si se está preguntando, ¡PREGUNTE ANTES DE PEDIR! De lo contrario, se encontrará con una gran sorpresa cuando llegue la factura.El servicio fue muy amable y nos encantó el diseño del restaurante. La noche que cenamos allí fuimos los únicos en el restaurante durante la primera mitad de nuestra cena, lo que te hace preguntarte si tomaste la decisión correcta. .En general, el restaurante hizo una fondue bastante sabrosa, el servicio fue amable y el ambiente del restaurante hizo que uno se sintiera bienvenido.

We found ourselves in this restaurant after passing 5 different restaurants which were completely booked. So that's the first advantage of this place: there is place, no need to reserve! Second, the prices are completely reasonable. It is probably one of the cheapest meals in Davos. Third, the Döner itself was surprisingly good, with fresh vegetables and a decent amount of meat. The pommes were nicely fried without an excess of oil. To top it all, the place features east-Asian music, which is somewhat a surprising choice for a middle-eastern styled restaurant, but it gives a nice touch.

The prices have risen extremely. For a few shrimps served in a ready-made sweet sour sauce you pay 26.- Attention! Rice, noodle have to be paid extra. That means I spend at least 29 chf for a quick, unpleasant meal - I can invest better in other locations. The prices don't match what you get at all. The whole shed is sticky, the floor is sticky and the tables are totally unclean. The chefs present could hardly speak German and there are also spelling errors in the menu. We won't be coming back.

Atmosphere and service were good. The food is less good, it's very greasy and I suspect some of it wasn't homemade (came by twice). I'm also missing a good beer, why not the local Monsteiner like in many other Davos restaurants? Above all, the price is rather expensive for Davos, you can get a lot more for less money at Weber, for example. What other commenters here say is wrong: this is more of an Italian restaurant than Swiss, however there are 1-2 Swiss dishes (which I haven't tried). In short: It's ok if everything else is reserved or you're too lazy to cook at home. It's not bad in this sense but it's just not enough for a four.
