I was in thiland few times, enjoyed the food a lot...but my visit in Surang was amazing!!!! The food was spectacular and so is the service. I'll be back!

I recently visited this spot and found the food to be absolutely delicious! However, I must note that the ambiance leans more towards a fast food setting rather than a traditional restaurant. The space is quite compact, which gives it a cozy but somewhat limited dining experience. Despite the size, the quality of the meals is undeniable, making it a great place for a quick and tasty bite. Just keep in mind that it might not fit the bill if you're looking for a more conventional restaurant atmosphere

Ordered the tofu pad Thai and partner got beef pad Thai. They got my drink order wrong but apart from that it was fine.

The taste is delicious and easy to eat. If it's for Thai people, the version that doesn't come with a foreigner will be specially made, meaning it's really a Thai taste. But if there's a foreigner, no matter how spicy we order it, they'll make it for a foreigner. If you can eat it too, it will seem like it's not quite right. But overall, it's very delicious.

Unfortunately a big disappointment. We actually love Thai food and ordered several courses. Overly salty and not tasty. The atmosphere seemed rather cheap.

The food was super fine. We ate Gäng Kiau-waan. Mmh... Loving service. Small, cozy restaurant.

Unfriendly service today. Food not exceptional. Wrong plate and wrong bill received, a bit chaotic. No apologies afterwards 😜

Very good papaya salad. Main courses a little disappointing. Too liquid sauce and stringy chicken.

The green curry wasn't good (honestly it was bad). The Penang curry not authentic. ...and we were extremely thirsty afterwards.

Good central location and easy to find. Comfortable outdoor seating. Great choices on the menu with reasonable pricing. Food pretty good but can be spicier to be closer to authentic Thai standard. Service from the staffs is thumbs up! Must try their mango sticky rice if available!

We had a delicious dinner in Münstergasse at SURANG (we sat outside in the sun)! I had fried tofu and my colleague had duck and the fried squid rings. I can also recommend the iced coffee!!

Very cold reception from the staff, we ordered three dishes which were cold, in fact everything is already prepared in advance and they prepare the dishes which they heat in the microwave.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant while walking around Bern old town. They have specific dishes cooked for lunch on Monday to Friday for 16.50 franc (13 franc for takeaway). You still can order off their regular menu. The food is delicious and service is good. This would be my go-to place for lunch if i live in Bern.

Some vegetables were cold. Only 3 cervettes per dish. When I pointed out that there were very few shrimps, everyone just laughed. Not recommended.

Great food for a really good price. Went to the lunch buffet and had the best Tofu stir with veggies and a pad Thai for 13.50CHF. The staff was really friendly and the restaurant is small and cozy.

A small restaurant packed with with tables, a varied menu with lots of tasty dishes. Though it can get loud and busy it’s worth visiting. We got the Fried rice and the Massaman curry with a variety of sides

Great taste and value for money

In terms of quality, it is probably one of the best Thai restaurants in Bern. Rather subtly spiced but well balanced and with very good spiciness, both in the green and red curry. Generous portion and packaged so that it arrives hot (home delivery).

Top-notch service and dish, a real treat

I love this place especially the excellent cuisine, very refined and super tasty. I recommend the shrimp as a starter and the shrimp patthai. The mango dessert is good but the rice which comes with it, even with a good sauce on top, is a little heavy at the end of the meal. . Incredible price quality. Too bad for the person who posted another comment (who didn't taste it) and I understand that the Thai have another culture but if you take the time to understand and know the people you don't lose a great moment. Go there with your eyes closed

We were greeted by a person (we're not sure of the type) who was very rude. A sudden gesture to show us a table on the terrace (without speaking to us). The person was visibly annoyed and gave off a hateful vibe. Then the card was thrown from behind...with words that were not understood...I asked what the person had said, but the person had already left towards the entrance of the restaurant... We wanted to eat in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere but the welcome was appallingly cold! So we left again.... The welcome is as important as the cuisine! And everyone should be welcome...

Cozy Thai 🇹🇭 restaurant 🍽 with a large terrace and buffet. The staff 👩🏻&👩🏻 is friendly and attentive. The food we ordered 🍱 was fresh 🌶 and deliciously prepared.

Wonderful Thai cuisine. Every bite is a new taste adventure. You can also take a trip to the Far East, even if it's unfortunately just for dinner. And probably the nicest service in all of Bern!!!

Very tasty, spicy, green curry without carrots and other European vegetables, and super vegi Pad Thai, orange and slightly slimy (yummy slimy (:) like I ate it in Thailand, we'll be back.

Authentic Thai cuisine with prices at Bern level. Yummy.

The staff hustled us while we were our way to Piman Thai next door :) This is a very small and basic hole in the wall place, but prices were still high (around $30/entree). No seating inside and was VERY difficult to communicate (none of the staff spoke English), so the orders were a bit messed up. Food was OK, but nothing special.

It's nice that the former Tab Tim 1 now has a unique name. It is the older and better of the two neighboring restaurants. I ate here almost every day for years. The quality and taste are very good, the service is friendly, and the prices of the lunch menus are very affordable.
