SWING Kitchen in Bern

It was a great place for Vegetarians and Vegans. The choice of Burgers and Wraps were plenty. The taste was amazingly yummy 😋. Kim from the Swing Kitchen looked after us with warmth. The atmosphere, ambience, taste, presentation of food, cleanliness or the place was fantastic 😍. This place is 100% Vegetarian and Vegan and heaven for people visiting or living in Bern Switzerland.

The food is generally delicious, but given the price, the place seems overrated to me.

I know this isn't fine dining, but still one of my favorites in Bern. Their vegan schnitzel is fantastic! As is the basil lemon dip with the sweet potato fries.

The food was very tasty: everything fresh, crisp salads, homemade sauces. One of the best fast food restaurants in DE-Switzerland. Highly recommended.

Although the place has a nice atmosphere, we were disappointed with the food. We tried the chili burger and the swing burger. Both lacked taste and texture.

I tried to order on Just Eat and wondered why nothing seemed to be labelled "vegan". I checked the allergens and every burger I checked says it had either milk or eggs in it. Seriously?!?

Very fine burger, good menu selection, extensive selection of soft drinks available via “free refill”. The interaction with the staff is limited in keeping with the fast food concept, but is still friendly. I find it astonishing that the dishes are almost exclusively served on disposable dishes, even if they are supposed to be "biodegradable" - I would have liked a little more consistency in implementing the principle of sustainability, fast food or not. All in all, still a great change for Bernese gastronomy.

Friendly, cool vegan restaurant with delicious burgers, fries and much more and very friendly service. I think the concept (stylish furnishings, ecologically responsible production,...) is totally in tune with the times. Unfortunately, prices have risen quite a bit over the years; At the beginning (around 2019/20) you could get a combo (menu) for under 20 Fr.; You can forget that now. I still like to come by every now and then. It's great that this restaurant chain from Vienna has come to Bern!

The protected citizens know and wide. If it's sweet, it's not vegan. And the lemon sauce is super nice, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately the whole thing is wrong, but I still manage to cope. It's a long wait at noon.

Very tasty burger! Better than I expected! The only thing that disappointed me a bit was that the sweet potato fries were a little overly salted. I think free refill is a great strategy and the selection of drinks is diverse.

Hmmm... As a real meat lover, my vegetarian daughter adored me today to try a vegan burger for her. What don't you do for your children... Well then, a little suspicious and with mixed feelings, I placed my order. I bit into my burger and was amazed: it was extremely tasty! And big! And the price is absolutely right. Coleslaw salad, also delicious. What can I say? Just fantastic. I will come back...

Delicious vegan burgers with flavors from classic to more original. The Pink Burger surprised me, it mixes salty and sweet flavors, it's delicious. The fried sweet potatoes were delicious, I loved the lemon mayonnaise that accompanied them. They also have desserts although I didn't get to try them.

i just ate the best vegan burger i ever had! we took two different burgers, one portion of fries with (basilicum-lemon) sauce and two refill drinks and everything was very good. we paid like 50fr for two people which is normal price in swizerland. the atmosphere was really lovely with all the plants and the service was really nice.

I got their cheeseburgers and fish & chips; Here's why I liked it: 1- The food was DELICIOUS and tasty! Absolutely loved it! The portion sizes are great and they fill you up! 😋 2- Super nice and friendly staff! Despite being overwhelmed and busy, still very kind and nice. 😊 3- Nice environment! It's clean and organized, and it has multiple sitting spaces that were very nice and comfortable! 🫧 4- I loved showing the amount of water, land, CO2, and animals saved by their food since their opening. I found this particularly interesting since I'm a food system and biomedical scientist. 🌍 Egg and milk cause a lot of animal suffering because all those animals are eventually killed. Male chickens and cows are also useless in egg and dairy farms so they are also killed. That's why we always eat vegan and this place is here to give you the best experience without the downsides of eating animals and its environmental destruction! Very nice restaurant with a large selection of vegan dishes. I treated myself to the cheeseburger. The bread was perfect and the contents were fresh and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the consistency of the soy patty isn't quite my thing (could be a little firmer to the bite). Otherwise really great shop with friendly staff.

I’ve first come across Swing Kitchen when I was in Munich and I now keep visiting their stores every time I see one on my way. Sadly, there are only 2 of them in Switzerland at the time of writing this so I really hope to see them expanding to Zurich (and other cities) soon. The chili cheese bites are really good, as well as the tiramisu. Needless to say, the burgers are delicious too. One point of feedback would be that they could certainly automate the order-taking process (like many other chains already did, e.g. McDonald’s, Neat Burger, etc…). Instead of having staff taking orders manually, they could just install tablets at the counter and let customers place orders themselves. It’s much easier for the customers (especially those who struggle with the language), and certainly more efficient from a business perspective (it frees up time for staff that can be used to help in the kitchen or do other things, and it eventually saves in labour costs). Great experience overall and I will certainly come back soon.

I went there on holiday and I have to say that this fast food should be exported all over the world! Nothing to envy of the famous "meat" fast food restaurants, on the contrary! Perfect combination of ingredients, very good chips, high quality bread and burger very similar to meat. Even omnivores should try, at least for one meal they will not have to contribute to killing a poor being. Another positive note is that you pay 5.90 for a glass that you fill as much as you want with the refill option: they have about ten different flavours, even hemp! Very good. The staff also speaks English well and is very friendly. The place is tastefully decorated and has plenty of seating. The only flaw is that the bathroom is not very accessible as you have to go down to the basement via emergency stairs and a little more constant cleaning would be needed.

These reviews are completely incomprehensible! The swing burger was too expensive, average to boring! The fries were soggy. The only good thing was the pattie that was probably bought.

As good as a “real” burger! You wouldn't even realize it, good products, everything excellent. Unlimited drink. Yum yum.

The place is very clean and the staff is polite. We tried the Vienna burger and the cheese burger. The cheese burger was average while the Vienna burger was not tasty and smelled like fish.

The food is good, especially all vegan, but not outstanding, the price is quite expensive for what is on offer. Otherwise great.

Back in the day, my high school had burger day. The bun was awful, condiments were sparse, and the patty had the consistency and taste of sawdust substitute. But the sauce was fantastic and they were only 2,-. This here was 17,- and didn’t have the nice sauce. Service? The waitress will trick you into buying 2,- additional sauce for the fries, which should by all means be included in the menu price. So, in terms of service there is less than none. Their only redeeming point is the millennial interior. I had a lot higher expectations in this place and the things I’ve heard, but after visiting I’m fairly disappointed.

Very nice restaurant with always very friendly service. The burgers are very tasty and not just run of the mill. The refill for the drinks is a great idea and also offers enough choice for every taste.

Food was delicious. However, I find the menu too expensive at 23.50. In addition, the soya patty activated my intestinal activities and my intestinal winds were pushed through both layers of my pants. Otherwise it was great.

Vegan junk food done very well. Clear environmentally responsible ethos driving them. We went mid afternoon and it was surprisingly quiet but had picked up by the time we left. Couldn't eat for the rest of the day we were so full!

All the food options here are vegan. Taste is great and so is the quantity. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Cozy atmosphere, the food is really very good, I will definitely eat again :). I had the combo chili burger with fries. The refill option for drinks is great. The food could be for some people. Possibly too salty, but since I eat rather salty myself, I thought it was great :) the drinks are also nice and the staff is nice. It was a great meal :) Only the prices are really very high. Of course it is clear that vegan products are a little more expensive and the burger price is completely okay, but I find that other side dishes than fries are charged additionally and the dips cost additionally is quite exaggerated and a bit stingy, since you are already paying a lot for the combo menu .

I found the chili burger to taste quite good, but the price was a bit expensive because it should actually be cheaper because you don't use a meat patty or you don't pay extra for the sauce.

Always TOTALLY delicious food without animal suffering! Unfortunately, it's difficult to find space on full days :/ Expanding wouldn't be a bad idea! Nevertheless: Burgers and sweet fries are simply the tastiest and the drinks system with the cups is sustainable and sophisticated! In addition, all butts are also highly recommended!

Great vegan burger joint that's just a short walk from the Bern train station. Pricey but delicious.

Good day I am a meat eater and yesterday Swing Kitchen convinced me to visit this place more and consume vegan food! Everything served fresh and warm! The restaurant is large but unfortunately there isn't much seating outside. Friendly staff and quick service.

Close to the train station. Very good veggie food in a modern but warm environment. English speaking staff. You can refill your glass as many times as you like with at least 10 different choices between water, sodas and fruit juices.

The service was great! The restaurant nice and clean. Unfortunately the toilet is not well labeled. The food was not good, the burger and salad were not edible. The fries and chicken nuggets were average, I wouldn't go again.

I'm not vegi/vegan and had one of your best burgers (chilli jalapegno burger with rösti) Cool atmosphere even though it's small. Food is ready quickly. A suggestion for improvement would be to give the salad a real fork instead of a wooden fork. Since the email cups have to be washed anyway, I don't see why you have to use wooden forks.

As expected, a little more expensive, but it's worth it for a delicious vegan burger. Drinks refill also very good. On the way to the toilet, inattentive visitors can get lost in a Warhammer shop in the basement.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated, American or Canadian style. But my burger was very disappointing, cheap industrial unhealthy food. The coleslaw, on the other hand, tasted good, except for the green salad which was not fresh and “lampy”. Sorry, I can hardly understand the good reviews.

The drinks taste absolutely chemical and feel like they are made of pure sugar. The burger with hash browns was actually really good. The soy or meat substitute patty was absolutely unnecessary and that's why I took it out. The rest of the burger was fantastic. The fries were also good. I was surprised by the relatively high prices.

The Winter Wonder Burger was very good! I'm excited about new seasonal burger creations in spring & summer.

We arrived this Sunday shortly after 12 p.m. and were warmly greeted. The order was taken straight away and after just a short time our food was ready for collection. The selection of lemonades is cool, as is the look of the place and the styling of the employees and the old 60'ies music playing in the background. The burgers, the salad, the fried onion rings everything tasted crispy, fresh and delicious. The SojaLatte coffee and the desserts were also fine. We would definitely like to come back!

Very nice selection of vegan burgers and a good combo menu option. I'd say the sauces are overpriced and the overall combo menu is also on the rather higher end. Nice location, food is prepared quickly and the staff is nice.
