It's way too underestimated. We order there every week.

I used to eat here very often (once a week) with my friends. The food was always excellent and the prices were reasonable. The staff is actually super friendly, but you only notice this as a regular guest, as they are also very stressed at lunchtime and so they can't be super nice to everyone, since everyone wants something and they want to be as quick as possible.

The food tastes authentic, like in Bangkok! Really really good!

I was a regular take away customer for years. Since the “landlady” treated me extremely unkindly a few days ago, I am no longer a customer. I really don't need anything like that! (Background: In order to avoid plastic waste when taking away, I asked that the curry and rice be put into the Tupperware I had brought with me. If takeaway, never do that without prior order (phone order), made the mistake and lesson learned today. Was telling me that can do that in 5 min (so that i can catch my bus) but the slow motion in how the cashier operating made me left the restaurant as I couldn't bare to miss the bus. Next time: takeaway from HB Kaimug which is much more efficient.

The Asian restaurant Tai Pan was a pearl of Asia on the Gold Coast of Zurich at the end of the 90s. With the Asia Restsurant Sukotaj in Zurich City they were the top restaurants for fine cuisine. After the sale of the founder Herbert B. the esprit, the mystical spirit was lost.

A nice, small restaurant with a delicious range of Thai dishes. The lunch buffet is manageable but inexpensive and tasty. All in all a very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner with friends.

Overall, the food is good to okay. The lunch buffet offers a good selection with various wok dishes, rice (natural/fried) and noodles (glass noodles or mung bean noodles). Very fine at fair prices. However, eating à la carte is too expensive for the quality, especially when it comes to meat dishes (especially poultry from Brazil is not necessary). I'll continue to come for the lunch buffet (vegi).

Nice Thai restaurant in Erlenbach very close to the train station. Fine food, almost all dishes on the menu are also offered as vegetarian options. Das Mittagsbuffet ist ebenfalls eine ausgezeichnete Option.Viele kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe und nur wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof Erlenbach entfernt.

It was a buffet with 2 different meat sauces, 2 vegetarian, a number of different toppings including soya sauce. fried rice with pieces of scrambled egg and normal rice were the last options. the price does not include a drink which is kind of annoying but you pay once and you get to eat to your hearts content. wasn't too busy. Will most likely go back there during summer.

I visit offen Tai Pan restaurant both for lunch and dinner and enjoy it every time. At lunch time there is an open buffet, all you can eat with a great choice for vegetarians. In the evening one has a wide range of choices, all very good.

Das Inhanberinnengefphrte Lokal mit der Chefin in der Küche ist mein bevorzugtes Thai Lokal in der weiteren Umgebung. Frisch und zügig zubereitet und sympathisch serviert. Das Lokal ist sauber aber wenig stilvoll eingerichtet, deshalb bevorzuge ich hier hauptsächlich den hervorragenden take-away Service! Auch Kennern der Thai Küche sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir besuchten dieses einfache Restaurant für einen kleinen Lunch, sahen das Selbstbedienungsbuffet ,darüber ein Schild: " Mittagsmenu Fr. 10.-" Wir hatten nicht viel Hunger. Es gab zwei Sorten Reis, ein rotes und ein grünes Pouletgeschnetzeltes und ein asiatisches Gemüse. Wir schöpften uns je einen Löffel voll, eine bescheidene Miniportion. Am Schluss überraschte uns die Rechnung: 20.50 pro Menu. Der Hinweis der Kellnerin, 10.-- sei der Preis für Take-away, da wir im Restaurant assen, hätten wir soviel nehmen dürfen, wie wir wollten. So besonders war das Essen nun doch nicht, dass wir noch mehr hätten nehmen wollen. Vielleicht stand auf dem Schild in 2mm-Schrift darunter etwas von Take-away. Wir werden nicht nochmals hingehen, um das zu überprüfen, so gut war es wie gesagt doch nicht und vor allem lassen wir uns nicht gerne über den Tisch ziehen.

The Thaipan has been a permanent fixture at the Erlenbach Chilbi for a good few years. The Thai food is a perfect addition to the typical Chilbi fare and consequently immensely popular. We visit every year and often eat there with friends. Finding space at a table isn't easy but people are willing to share. The food is gently spicy, perhaps not quite as hot as in Thailand, but always tasty and fresh. For the Chilbi they typically offer 4-5 different fixed menus, noodles or curry with rice. If you visit the Chilbi, I can only recommend!

Wir hatten ein grossen Fest mit 25 Teilnehmern und hatten als Vorspeise Saté-Spieschen, Warmer Glasnudelsalat mit Crevetten und als Hauptgang Pa Thai und Panang Ghai. Alles war frisch und köstlich und die Begeisterung über das Essen hoch.

Einmal und nie wieder!Hygienische Verhältnisse lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig!Lebensmittelmotten fliegen dauernd von Küche ins Restaurant. Wenn man das Personal darauf hinweist, sagt man nur , man wisse es und eine weitere Motte fliegt um ihr Gesicht. Fragt man und was machen Sie dagegen? Läuft Sie davon und kommt nicht wieder. Wir kommen auch nicht wieder!

Essen war sehr gut leider war die Kellnerin im halb leeren Restaurant sehr überfordert. Das Rite Curry war ganz fein.

The Environment of the Restaurant is not so great, but the service is friendly - and the food is very good. Especially the take away is somenthing we really appreciate.

Ich war über Mittag mit Geschäftskollegen im Tai Pan essen und wir waren alles sehr zufrieden mit dem Tai Pan Restaurant. Sehr überzeugend war das à discretion Mittags-Buffet. Wir konnten zwischen zwei verschiedenen Arten von Reis wählen, Curry mit Fleisch oder nur mit Gemüse. Freitags meistens mit Fisch. Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Poulet-Satay-Spiessli. War sicherlich nicht mein letzter Besuch!

We went to restaurant Thai Pan for a informal business lunch and overall was pleasant. There is a buffet with several Thai dishes, included Tom Kha Gai soup. One can decide to go for dishes without soup, with soup or only soup, for a different prices. I love Tom Kha Gai so I had just that and it was really delicious. My colleague has taken rice, chicken curry and vegetables. We have been satisfied from the quality and quantity (one can repeat). The restaurant is pretty small and simple, service is ok, price affordable.

Leckeres thailändisches Essen - auch immer gerne als Takeaway. Schnelle Bereitstellung bei telefonischer Vorbestellung. Machen wir immer wieder und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden.

Als ich eine Bestellung per Telefon machte verstand mich die Dame leider gar nicht. Trotz Flyer mit Menueangabe per Nummer war die Bestellung eine Qual. Bei Abholung waren die Menues noch lange nicht fertig! Menues waren gut aber auch eher etwas teuer, vorallem die grosse Portion, die man auch nehmen muss wenn man Hunger hat.

Ich esse regelmässig über Mittag dort. Habe mittlerweile die ganze Firma damit angesteckt. Das Essen ist erstklassig und sehr authentisch!Über den Mittag gibt es ein Buffet mit all you can eat, Take away oder a la carte. Der Service ist freundlich und im Sommer kann man auch draussen essen. Immer wieder gerne!

Ein kleines familiengeführtes Thai Restaurant in der Nähe des Erlenbach Station.Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten zur Auswahl und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Der Service war schnell und freundlich.Auswahl für Vegetarier sowie Fleischfresser mit.Ich habe zwar eine Weinkarte, die allerdings gab es eine große Auswahl an Spirituosen, Bier und alkoholfreie Getränke.Huhn, Ente und Fisch aus Brasilien und Thailand während Rindfleisch war Swiss.Sehr gute Preise für Zürich.

Thai Pan war der einzige Ort offen auf der öffentlichen Urlaub und so war es ein willkommener Anblick. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Der Preis war okay.

Da nahe gelegen, gehe ich gerne mal dahin zum Essen. Das lokal ist serh typisch thaländisch mit allem drum und dran. Im vergleich zu anderen Thailändern ist es sicher das beste und preiswerteste in der Umgebung.Das essen ist in der Regel gut bis sehr gut. Empfehlenswert ist der grüne Mango Salat, der ist wirklich immer gut. Auch die diversen Curries sind gut. Die Preise sind der Qualität entsprechen aber ein billiger Thailänder ist es nicht; billig ist's wenn man das Menue im take-away nimmt und zu Hause isst. Die Portionen sind immer gut bemessen und eher etwas viel.

Ich geh da öfter hin entweder über Mittag (all you can eat!) oder am Abend. In letzer Zeit bestelle ich jedoch öfters Take Away und nehme es mit nach Hause!Die Auswahl ist gross das Essen sehr lecker! Preise sind voll ok! Ich muss jedoch ehrlich zugeben, dass ich noch nie Fisch hatte was ich jetzt bei empfindlichen Magen auch nicht probieren würde...Und als letztes - die Bedienung ist nicht immer sehr freundlich was mich jedoch nicht stört bei Take Away :)Fazit: immer wieder!

Immer wieder gerne gehe in das Restaurant. Täglich hat es ein à discetion Mittags-Buffet. Buffet besteht aus Suppe (kostet zusätzlich), Reis, Nudeln (vegarisch) und Curry. Das Angebot zum Curry ist unterschiedlich (Poulet, Rind, Crevetten und Fisch) und immer ausgezeichnet fein.

Mit Freunden zum Nachtessen im Thai Pan. Kleines, nettes Restaurant, Freundliche Bedienung. Sehr hübsche thailändische Weihnachtsdekoration. Preiswert. Tom Yam Gung, Pat Pak Nam Man hoi und Gaeng Shushi Pra empfehlenswert.

Hier kommen wir immer gerne hin. Frau Widmer bedient jederzeit sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt authentisch. Guter Vorgeschmack auf Thailand, wo wir wieder demnächst einige Wochen verbringen werden.

Eines der besten Thai Restaurants am See, immer freundlich und immer wieder kommen Erinnerungen aus Thailand hoch. Das Lokal ist einfach und gemütlich mit einem Asientouch. Küche und Service sind alles Thais und das Essen ist toll und die Portionen grosszügig.

Zwei Personen mit 2 Tagen Durchfall wegen unhygienischer Lebensmittel handhabe.Zudem war das Takeaway mit falschem Hauptgang. Umtausch nur wenn ich sofort wieder komme um es umzutauschen. Als jahrelanger Gast leider nicht kundenfreundlich. Also immer zuerst schauen bei Abholung ob die Bestellung stimmt.Und dann viel Glück beim Essen. Ich gehe definitiv nie mehr ins Taipan.

Man bekommt jeden Tag Buffet mit einer anderen Art von Fleisch oder Fisch auf die können Sie eine viel essen, wie man will. Heute hatte ich nur eine Papaya Salat, das war wirklich gut.

Einmal im Monat geniessen wir das authentische thailändische Essen und die nette Bedienung in diesem reinen Frauenbetrieb. Empfehlen können wir alles...besonders lieben tun wir die Satay Spiesse zur Vorspeise, das scharfe grüne Curry oder das Pak Nam Hoi mit Rindfleisch. Die Portionen sind so gross, dass wir noch nie einen Dessert bestellen mochten. Auch unser 8-jähriger Sohn ist immer ein gern gesehener Gast und liebt das feine Essen und die Atmosphäre nicht weniger als wir!

Ich bin nicht sehr kinderlieb thailändisches Essen im Allgemeinen, aber eine Abwechslung von dem normalen Schweizer Eu-Essen ist gut. Es gibt eine Menge thailändische Orte in ZRH, für mich sind alle von ihnen fast die gleichen Texturen und Geschmack. Der Leser kann sehen Sie meine anderen thailändischen Resto Bewertungen zu werden nur als Quatsch.Das Gute an diesem Resto ist allerdings das Mittagsbüfett. Sie können wieder über und über gehen, wenn man das möchte.

Ob das ein Abendessen oder nur Take Away, beides schmeckt in diesem Restaurant ausgezeichnet. Man fühlt sich wie in Thailand wenn Frau Widmer mit ihrem freundlichen Lächeln uns begrüsst:" Sawasdee Kha". Die Bedienung ist freundlich, unkompliziert und schnell. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Immer wieder wird man hier positiv überrascht vom schnellen und freundlichen Service von Frau Wiedmer. Das Essen schmeckte wie jedes Mal herrlich, wirklich Thai! Hier kann ich schon bald wieder essen, freue mich.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne in dieses unkomplizierte thai Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, die Bedienung wie in Thailand freundlich und aufmerksam. Das beste thailändische Restaurant in Zürich und Umgebung.

Wieder einmal take away und letzten Monat auch schnelles Abendessen. Einer der besten Thai den ich kenne. Frau Widmer kann auch sehr gut auf spezielle Wünsche eingehen und die werden von der Köchin hervorragend umgesetzt. Einmal im Monat sind wir sicher da.
