Food was quite good honestly and the drinks are okay. The starters are nice like the quesadilla's. Tacos are also good but wouldn't say it is amazing. 4/5 for sure. Good selection of tequila and decent drinks. Cocktails are a bit on the expensive side and not particularly good. The one thing I did not like at all is that after reserving for 15 people (around 900 franc bill..) you get rushed out by the staff. They did tell us in advance - but I think it is a bit of poor taste to rush people out making them eat in 1hour when you bring that amout of customers. I would definitely not come back because of that.. Also, server was rude. It was for a birthday and my friend kindly asked if they had some sort of cake and the server rudely responded that that is the exact reason she had come to ask if we wanted desert. If she would have thought for 1 second, this was meant to be a surprise, so it is normal the table would not have responded yes in front of the person whose birthday it was. Would not recommend. I love this restaurant for its cuisine, its staff and its decor. Only downside, too many people with elbow to elbow seats. So on noisy.

Wonderful vibe, friendly service and excellent food. I like spicy food and found the hot sauce truly hot and enjoyed it! The tortilla/maís chips are fresh and both the guac and refried beans dip are worth it. We're vegetarian and we had ample choices. I've had horchata (rice milk with cinnamon and vanilla) in many places but I think this is my favourite one! The cocktails looked and tasted fabulous, too.

Very good dishes and great cocktails. On the other hand, for the service, you clearly need to review the copy! Not nice girls who take away dishes and glasses without having finished. You have to hurry to order, hurry to consume... "you must use only one paper per table for the order, not two". There is another way to address your customers though. Very disagreeable. Thanks on the other hand to the nice waiter in the kitchen, smiling and friendly, the only one, in our opinion, who has an idea of ​​the service in your restaurant. We won't come back. Best regards.

It’s a magnificent restaurant that takes us on a journey to Mexico. The servers are very nice and the service is fast. The food is excellent and the cocktails are loaded with alcohol. There are a multitude of choices for dishes. I strongly recommend it to you.

I am a fan of this restaurant! Everything is great! It’s a real pleasure every time! I can possibly suggest some small improvements, remove this affair of two services and bring a little more atmosphere to the servers. Indeed, I find that they were a little more relaxed and we could have more fun with them, 1 or 2 years ago.

Very good food but unfortunately very noisy

I had dinner last night in this restaurant with friends. The food was excellent, the cocktails fabulous and the atmosphere unique. The service was fast and the welcome very warm. We really feel like we're in Mexico. There’s even a little sanctuary in the basement that I loved! I highly recommend this restaurant. I will return there very soon.

Amazing atmosphere, same as mexico! Food was quite fatty for me. I couldn’t finish some tacos(mainly smoked pork belly)and tastes were ok. Also double seating option is quite annoying. There is new mexican place which is very very tasty and highly recommended which is Orale by Chat Rouge!

In terms of service, it's almost impeccable, just missing the smile. And when it comes to smiles, rarely seen on plates where the tastes are relatively bland. Poorly measured cocktails. In fact, we expect to be disoriented but we come out like a simple pizzeria. Damage

I didn't know this place, I stopped while passing by, intrigued by the decoration and the fact that there were quite a few people there. I was found a place quickly (ideally you need to reserve). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes and the service, very fast, very good and the waiters were pleasant. Great discovery. I would definitely go back there soon, and above all I would like to try the rest of the menu

Nice place and dishes, the only thing that spoils it is the timed service...the places are only reserved for a certain time, you feel like you're at the factory with the orders which must be placed quickly. The dishes arrive quickly too.

The food and drinks were ok, but the host was extremely rude. Restaurant super expensive, you’d expect at least a little bit of respect coming from host. Contrarily he was rude to us from the moment we stood our feet in.

We go there once or twice a month because we like the atmosphere with Latin music and the tacos are just delicious. If there wasn’t this restaurant in Eaux-Vives, we would have to invent it. Once again: there is taste on the plate, the atmosphere is festive and the decor is warm. I just regret that my darling and I finish work quite late on Saturdays and parking nearby is always complicated. So the 9 p.m. deadline very often arrives a little too quickly for us. But it’s the house policy and as the restaurant is generally full, you have to adapt to it. The team is quite nice, I gave 5 stars for the service because they are efficient.

We went on a Saturday, so the market is going on right outside. The Barbacoa tacos are delicious, recommend those over the carnitas to be honest. Granny Fernanda was absolutely delicious, and you can barely taste the tequila. Some of the best Mexican I’ve had in Europe.

It’s rare to find a nice decor and such unique interior in Geneva. The corn nachos are yummy and the chorizo quesadillas as well, although very oily but that’s natural. I was not a big fan of the tuna ceviche, and the crab appetizer was not bad. We ordered tacos and I can rank them based on my personal taste: 1- Tinga 2- chicharon 3- carnitas (used to be good). The michelada was good and i heard that they do good cocktails.

The tacos are fantastic and the desserts really tasty! I recommend the chorizo ​​quesadillas which are simply divine as well as the carnitas tacos which are a must. Tres leches are delicious for dessert! The atmosphere and decoration take you straight to Mexico! Thank you to the team for this experience!

DÉ-SEN-CHAN-TÉ…that’s the word that comes to mind when I remember that evening. My colleague and I were excited at the idea of ​​going to this restaurant to taste their dishes. Once there the decoration was impressive and immersive, we thought we were in Cancun. To start our evening, we chose to have a cocktail. My colleague's glass was shaped like a parrot, which made us giggle. However, upon receiving our dishes, we were surprised by the quantity/price ratio. Listen to me carefully ! 7.50 CHF FOR A MEXICAN PANCAKE THE SIZE OF A PANCAKE! Are you kidding me ?! The garnish was good but nothing more. Let's not even talk about the starter which was bland, this time the "pancake" was crispy, just like the gossip my college told me about Jessica, the open space secretary. Anyway, I digress. The service was quick and friendly but a little too intrusive. Their incessant comings and goings interrupted our gossip! In short, a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere but cuisine and prices which reminded us of the harsh reality of inflation.

Host was super rude, I ask if there will be something special and said no ,after indicating tjay the mexican independence day was today he said “good for you”. What it tells you that a “mexican” restaurant doesn’t even know a big party like this. Anyway concierge in mandarin oriental said he did no suggested going there and I came back and confirmed to him to NEVER suggest it.

Been to Taqueria quite a few times. Has a very good variety of cocktails and a wide menu of tequilas and mezcals. The food menu is a bit small and portions are not that big but overall the taste is good. Has a nice terrace that is open during summer. I suggest to book a table in advance as it is usually very busy.

Excellent Mexican food. Go with reservation, it fills up! There is a shift at 7pm and another at 9pm. Very good drinks.

Very disappointing experience. The 2 main waiters who take the orders (important details) did not smile, no pleasure in their attitude to exercise this profession and borderline a little haughty around the edges. We didn't feel welcomed as we should in Latin cuisine restaurants where visitors are traditionally warmly welcomed! However, the 2 servers who brought the dishes were smiling, happy and pleasant. Is it a coincidence that the latter were from Latin America and the others were European? You be the judge. I'm just conveying my feelings. For the food, we had a guacamole starter, the nachos were hard, flavorless and full of oil. (We tasted some tasty ones at Alma 2 streets away). We ate the guacamole without the nachos. Then, the ceviche was very delicious, just a shame that it was also served on this big nacho (same recipe as those for guacamole). As for the tacos, there was one called barbacoa or something like that, which was very sparse for 7.5 chf per taco and unremarkable from a taste point of view. Then another napolito which is not incredible in terms of taste. Tinga and mole are the best tacos. And pico de gallo is excellent on the quesadilla side. We were on the terrace which was protected by covers in case of rain. And smoking was allowed. It was quite unpleasant to eat with smoke nearby. This reflects our views. We are used to Mexican and Latin cuisine. We will not return there.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Geneva and probably one of the best taquerias in terms of flavour, quality of food and overall vibe of the place. I have visited many times and they never disappoint, the tacos are always on point. Great portion sizes, always served hot and dripping with flavour. My personal favourites are the barbacoa and carnitas. Before leaving the tres leches cake is a must!! This place is a bit pricier than your usual taqueria but sometimes it's worth it for the quality of food being served here.

Very good Mexican restaurant in Whitewater. Book if you want to be able to go, it’s always full. The prices are expensive, and the tacos are quite small. 7-8 chf for a single taco can be surprising at first. The cocktails are very good. The atmosphere inside is great, and perfectly in the Mexican spirit. However, be prepared to pay a minimum of 45 francs for 4 tacos and 1 cocktail. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. They do their job very well despite how crowded the restaurant can be, and the wait is almost non-existent.

I ordered 3 dishes and only received one. After pointing out to the waitress that I was missing 2 dishes, I received my second dish. I again point out to the waitress that I am missing the 3rd course, she told me that I was lying and that I had received everything that I had never seen before. If the waitress doesn't like and doesn't know how to do her job, it's not up to me to suffer and even less to be called a liar. Never seen such bad service in a restaurant.

Went to dine with 4 friends. All of us were very disappointed in general. Good point - the cocktails: they were absolutely delicious and the barman was really sweet and kind. As for the food, the service was BAD. The waiteress was rude. First she brought all the vegetarian food mixed with the non-vegetarian one, the meat sauce was everywhere and the veggies at the table couldn't eat it. When we pointed it out, she simply told us "you should've told beforehand". No gesture, no suggestion to bring replacement, nothing. Food was served all mixed and without explanation, so that some of the vegetarian food ended up eaten by non-vegetarians. Not their fault, as the waiteress didn't even say what she was putting on the table. Second awful thing, we weren't informed that the service was until 9 pm and then we need to gtfo. The waiteress was coming at the table every 5 minutes urging us to order food, or dessert. When we asked what was the rush, she simply replied - "I have another table at 9". This should be mentionned on the phone when the reservation is made, not everyone uses their website to book a table! Finally, the waitress was just plain unprofessional. At some point, she started flirting with one of the guest and asking him "what did she eat?". Excuse me, I'm sitting right next to him, ask me directly, thank you! This was the first time and we won't be back. Food is okay, but way too expensive and the portions are ridiculous. For 1.5 hours spend rushing to eat our food (which we never got at the same time so when one was eating the others were starring), spending more than 250 francs and getting this kind of rude service, it's really not worth it.

It was the first time and it had been years that I absolutely wanted to go to this restaurant, well I left there really angry and annoyed and I weigh my words, details matter and personal gestures matter, the service was really deplorable and I'm not talking about the waitress because she was adorable, thank you again! her job she did nothing to say about that, what saved my evening was: the coconut flan, the service of the waitress. But the quantities were just not possible, I eat very little but here it was very very little… the cocktail was something very common but it was disgusting and very expensive, very expensive meal… In short, very disappointed and frustrated so no, I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant unfortunately.

I went to this restaurant 3 times, the first two times were great except the last time because I took the 1st service, the waiter was very unpleasant, not at all professional, we were rushed so that the 2nd service could to start. It's a shame.

Tasty Mexican street tacos. Some interesting varieties of tacos - some a hit and some lacking in flavor. Can get pricy when you add a drink or two. They need to double wrap the corn tortillas to prevent 'taco blowout' as traditional street tacos are served.

Cramped quarters, downtown location, food was nothing special service was not great

The quality of the dishes are perfect. Unfortunately they take interns without paying them, give absolutely nothing on the tip and send them on for other unpaid internships on weekends when there are people. This is abuse without ethics and respect for young people. Frankly sad and disappointing. Too bad really!

A Mexican atmosphere, from the service to the details of the decor. The concept is original and the food is good. The service is also great. There are some vegetarian and fish dishes but this remains limited.

The food and cocktails, as always, didn't disappoint. The service can be improved though. When a waitress brought us the food, she incorrectly labelled each taco and hence some of us didn't eat what we actually wanted. Also, when we were seated at the table, a friend got her hair on fire (literally) due to a candle on the table that was too close to the edge of the table. The candles on the table are a hazard, especially considering that people can easily spill alcohol on the table. I'am sure she would have appreciated an apologie from the staff but that never happened even though they knew about the incident.
