The Ristorante is now called Grotto Crivelli. Unique location right on the lake. Food was freshly prepared and of very good quality. The service wasn't really convincing.

I was there for my company dinner, among other things with new management and a new name for the restaurant as Grotto Crivelli. Decent quality food with very small portions without having the possibility of having more for being a grotto

Barbecue evening on Wednesday was a disaster. Tables were booked twice and we had to wait forever for service. They don't have anything under control there... I have no idea how you can give 5 stars here. One employee was friendly and helpful, the rest were stressed and in a bad mood. And then it's very expensive for what it is... What a shame...

Nice place with a view of the lake. Unfortunately the wine prices, open wine Merlot white, at 7.50 are completely excessive for the quality and are not comprehensible. Inflation or not, we were definitely not happy.

A tavern like you would expect in Ticino, with great specialties and very fine food and a picture-perfect location right on the lake. You don't treat yourself to anything else!

Birthday, table right by the lake. Courteous staff. Osso buco was very tasty. Prices are a little higher, of course, but it was worth it.

Unfortunately it is no longer comparable to the restaurant of the previous owners. Service was nice but overwhelmed, salad good, meat too, side dish on canteen level, bread like the cheapest from Migros, risotto out of the question & the coffee didn't save anything. A pity

We went for dinner last night, everything was perfect, we were welcomed with kindness, the service was impeccable, their cold cuts and cheeses were delicious, the tartare was excellent and we concluded with a real Catalan cream. The view of the lake during sunset is a perfect setting for a romantic dinner or to spend with friends. We will definitely be back! Thanks are due to the chef and his collaborators.

Basically a nice location right on the lake. Unfortunately, eating is not recommended. Trout fillet was not fresh and dry. The service did not respond to the criticism.

Once Upon a time… New owner, new staff. The location is still fantastic, but the kitchen? For lunch you don't even get what's on the menu. The light meal is over, the advantage of having kitchen in the afternoon is also over. No matter what you order, “I don’t have it right now”, “I’m not cooking at the moment”. Little sauce, etc. Panache: I don't have any. Before this recession hit I was here regularly for ten years and we were always well served. Our third visit this summer, this time at 1 p.m., lunchtime. Score 0-3. Conclusion: no matter what you order from the items listed, it is not available. A pity. Positive: things can only go up! So hop!

Free parking spaces. I can only warmly recommend this wonderful restaurant to everyone and will definitely visit it again and again whenever I am in Ticino.

The Taverna is currently closed for personal reasons until September 15th, 2021. This should be stated on the website of a well-run taverna so that customers don't come running. 🤨

Very pretty restaurant on the water's edge, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, our dish was delicious, we ate the beef on slate! Just one negative thing the salad dressing is not homemade

Doesn't have many dishes for vegetarians, especially if you don't particularly like porcini mushrooms. The website said "pasta" under the menu. I had a choice between spaghetti and tagliatelle.

Excellent restaurant with top service I can only recommend it was the first time there and certainly not the last time. Fillet on a hot stone couldn't be better, with spinach cooked to perfection and fried potatoes with rosemary simply delicious.

Per Zufall entdeckt und froh, dass wir hier an so schöner Lage um 16 Uhr Mittagessen konnten: Leckerer Fisch und Risotto, sowie die traditionelle Luganighetta Wurst. Reservierung dringend empfohlen- wir hatten Glück, dass wir einen Tisch am Wasser bekamen.

Sehr tolles Ambiente...typisch Ticino. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Hier lässt es sich immer gut Essen insbesondere im Sommer im Freien. Wir haben oft mit dem Boot hier angelegt und pausiert oder wir sind bei einem Spaziergang um die Halbinsel hier eingekehrt. Gutes und vielfältiges Angebot und netter Service. Grosser Freisitz mit Blick auf den See. Preise sehr teuer. Wir sind hier in der Schweiz.

Grottino molto simpatico in stile ticinese in una zona favolosa, a bordo lago (con anche un pontile per la clientela) si trova una terrazza molto tranquilla con i tavoli in granito. Con personale cortese ed attento, una scelta di piatti caldi e freddi e della buona birra, questo ristorante offre una piacevole pausa ai passeggiatori in zona.

Sehr schön aber auch ruhig gelegenes Restaurant. Das Essen war gut, wir konnten auch Ende September noch draussen sitzen. Sehr netter Service.

Sehr schön gelegene Terrasse direkt am See. Die Dekoration entspricht zwar nicht ganz unserem Geschmack (weniger wäre mehr). Aber das wichtigste ist ja das Essen, und das hat uns sehr gemundet: Fischfilets mit Jung-Kartoffeln, Tortellini Al salvia).

Ausgezeichnetes Grotto, direkt am See. Herzliche Begrüssung. Die Freundlichkeit dauert über den ganzen Besuch. Das Grotto ist ca. 2 km vom Dorf entfernt. Es gibt eine schöne Seestrasse für den Spaziergang. So darf man trotzdem den feinen Wein trinken. Das Essen war sehr fein, das Filet wunderbar zart. Die Beilagen werden von Hand und frisch zubereitet, keine Industrieware. Das spezielle ist, es gibt keine Menukarte am Tisch. Die Menüs werden von Hand auf eine Tafel geschrieben, welche zum Auslesen an den Tisch gestellt werden. Unbedingt früh reservieren, da oft ausgebucht.

2 Klassengesellschaft, wenn man bekannt ist, ist man willkommen.

Hier sollte man unbedingt reservieren, denn die Lage direkt am Wasser und der herr liche Blick sind begehrt. Italienisch-Kenntnisse braucht man nicht anwenden. Chefin Erika ist aus Appenzell, man spricht hier auch niederbayerisch. Wir hatten ordentliche Bruschetta (6 Teile für 10,50 Franken), guten Fisch mit Kartoffeln und Spinat (28,50 Franken) und Quöllfrisch-Bier (6 Franken). Alles passte.

Super, hatte ich nicht erwartet.

Questo ristorante si trova lungo la passeggiata del monte di Caslano.La location estiva (terrazza) è molto suggestiva poiché si ammira di un affasciante vista sul lago.L'ambiente è molto accogliente in quanto il personale mette proprio a proprio agio, coccolando i clienti con consigli utili.Il cibo è molto buono (piatti tipici) e consiglio di provare il risotto ai funghi e il pollo al cestello.Consigliato.

gute Bedienung, schöne direkte Seelage und toller Hauswein. Alles war gut, das Essen auch, aber halt nichts spezielles (was ja auch nicht immer nötig ist).
