The best Greek restaurant in Switzerland. I tried the dish with Gyros and a Metaxa sauce and it was delicious. The appetizers were also yummy. The waitress that served us was a lovely Greek girl that made sure we were always satisfied. Having lunch or dinner at Taverna Thessaloniki is definitely a must!!

Unfortunately, I didn't like anything... As a gourmet, I didn't fit in at this restaurant. I tried almost every starter and was very disappointed. Not once did I think wow, very good... The meat was also unseasoned and dry. Without love, it's a shame...

The meat was tough and the sausage “separated”. - The rice was probably made in the steamer. The salt was not evenly distributed. (One part salty, one part bland.) The portions are rather small. As a starter I had tzatziki for 9.- and was given slices of baguette bread, not even pita bread. For the main course I chose the Souvlàki Chirinò with fries. The fries weren't even lukewarm and the meat was way too dry. Conclusion: for what I was served, it was far too expensive.

Here you will receive friendly service and reasonable portions on a varied menu. I find the furnishings pleasant and appropriate, not overloaded but not too sparse either. When the weather is nice, you can dine at your seat, but it's worth making a reservation. The tavern is approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station in a quiet area.

Wir waren letzten Sommer 1-2x in diesem Restaurant und durch das aktuelle Take Away Angebot holten wir uns auch schon ein feines Znacht.Zu empfehlen sind die Hausspezialitäten - besonders das Gyros an der Metaxasauce mit Reis.Neben dem feinen Essen ist für mich aber die Freundlichkeit des Chefs ein ganz wichtiger Bestandteil des Restaurantbesuches.

Das Restaurant ist ganz ok für zwischendurch mal Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt mit einer kleinen ausnahme die Bifteki wahren etwas zu trocken aber sonst ganz lecker. Ich hätte fünf Sterne gegeben wenn Die Bedienung etwas schneller gewesen währe Und wen wir nicht die ganze Zeit Wespen um uns herum gehabt hätten.
