The typical Valais restaurant, with very good fondues and typical dishes of the region. The setting is very friendly and lively, the service is good and relaxed. I gave it a 5 star rating, because it is one of the best restaurants with Swiss cuisine in Valais. The plates are well stocked and of good quality with a fair price.

The fondue there is very good, their reputation is well established. On the other hand, I prefer to eat there in the summer on the terrace because the interior is a little too noisy for me. The boss is friendly and the staff welcoming!

There were 12 of us and we had salads and terrines as starters, followed by a bacchus fondue. One person in the group not eating pork, she asked to be served the salad without the terrine, after which the waiter began to complain that he should have warned beforehand that the restaurant was full (he did not was not)… What follows are sighs, head shakes and completely inappropriate and unwelcome annoyance from the waiter. Then comes the bacchus fondue with venison, beef and wild boar, instead of the foal, turkey and beef indicated on the website menu. No one warned us about this change. In any case it didn't suit the person who didn't eat pork. We therefore requested a separate plate for the person concerned with only beef and deer, following which the boss brought us the requested plate saying (literally and I am not exaggerating): “Where is the painful thing? » Needless to say, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Treating a customer as “painful” is inexcusable! Following this incident, perhaps we could have been offered coffee... but no, not even. So no, I will never return to this establishment and my 11 colleagues will certainly do the same.

Very pretty terrace, we eat well, especially the Chinese Burgundian ones, nice staff, and it depends on the waitresses, some are not nice at all, want to cash in straight away and are cold.

A small village restaurant which mainly offers local Swiss dishes. The waitresses are kind and attentive. We had an unlimited raclette with starter and we don't regret it. Very good and very hearty with good quality potatoes. We were just embarrassed to always have to call the waitress to be served raclette (it is not a wheel served on the table at will). Nevertheless, a great place to eat typical dishes.

This was our second visit to this very good restaurant with typical dishes. Welcome and service without problem The first time, we opted for the rösti which were very good During our second visit, we chose the raclette with the charcuterie dish which was very generous. For traditional and hearty cuisine, don’t hesitate!

We really got full! There are decent portions here at reasonable prices. Home cooking and also some specialties like pig's trotters, which looked really tasty (we didn't dare order them). The staff only spoke French, but were very helpful and courteous. Clear recommendation!

Very warm welcome in this very nice little restaurant. We had raclette, 28 francs for unlimited cheese and potatoes and count on 35 francs with an additional plate of charcuterie. The cheese follows as soon as we finish. We recommend without worries.

Nous sommes venues à 9 personnes (adultes enfants de 3ans et plus) et avons commandé 4 fondue bourguignonne (pour 4 personnes à 39.-/personne) filet de perche, crevettes à l’ail et entrecôte.Une place très chaleureuse et un service sympa. A l’arrivé de nos plat l’entrecôte faisait moins de 180g (250g annoncé sur la carte mais le patron disait que une fois quiT ça faisait 170g ) mon beau frère n’accepte pas et demande à ce que la viande soit changé. Le patron agressif hurle que la viande fait 220g (s’est fourvoyé tout seul ) alors que sur la carte c’est écrit 250!!ce qui veut dire qu’il a volé tous les anciens consommateurs! Mon frère a prit une pizza qui était brûlée!! La bourguignonne arrive et la c’est la goute qui fait déborder le vase!! Viande immangeable voir périmée avec un goût très acide dans la bouche! Nous demandons à ce qu’ils nous donnent de la viande fraîche et de voir l’étiquette mais monsieur refuse de nous montrer l’étiquette! On nous ressert de la viande meilleure que la précédente mais toujours avec ce goût acide, il y avait aussi un truc noir sur la viande (photo a l’appuie) Quand ils nous on resservit la viande était toujours acide nous avons demandé à ce que elle soit retirés mais quand ils ont débarrassé ils ont retiré la viande des 4 personnes! Ils nous on fait payer 400.- (40.- par personne la fondue) avec un rabais de 40.- (440 total normal) alors qu’ils avaient retirés toutes les assiettes avec la viande!! Je vous déconseille vivement ce restaurant!! Nous allons les dénoncer au service d’hygiène car ce n’est pas normal de servir de la viande aussi mauvaise voir avariées a des enfants et adultes!!! Pour ma part c’est le restaurant le plus « pouah » ou j’ai pu manger de ma vie! Mes amis fuyez ce restaurant ( sauf si vous prenez autres choses que la fondue)

Well, this last time there was almost no one, it should be noted that with the coronavirus, closings at 10 p.m. and a 2nd confinement, customers are hesitant. So boss who didn't have the best morale. We can understand it. But remained professional and friendly.

Essayé les röstis 1x Montagnard (lardons, champignons, oignons et oeuf) et 1x avec jambon, fromage fondue et oeuf.Très bon, bien mangé mais celle avec le fromage est très bourrative. Les prix sont toujours autant corrects et c'est toujours à la bonne franquette. Visité durant le mois de septembre 2020.

Fondue, fondue, ils réclamaient tous, on a donc cherché et trouvé cet endroit. On s'installe dehors sur la terrasse, le patron nous aide à déplacer les tables, on est 12. Service assez rapide, agréable. Fondue à la tomate surprenante, à manger à des patates, et fondue des mayens avec un bol de charcuterie mixte avec noix et autres, sympa. Rien à redire, on nous demande si tout va bien, tout va bien.

A 13h, à la Fête Dieu, nous avions une petite faim et sommes allés mangés une fondue à la tomate. Bonne fondue, avec supplément d'oignons cornichons, du bon blanc valaisan. Nous avons passé un moment sympathique.C'est un lieu décontracté, sans chichi. Prix correct. Même tenancier depuis de nombreuses années.Visité durant le mois de juin 2020.

Contrairement aux autres avis, l'accueil est courtois et pro.j'ai réservé pour un petit groupe de 8 personnes, avec arrivée en ordre dispersé. Une excellente fondue (de base) en bonne quantité. Nos amis ont préféré les röstis servis très copieusement ou la croute aux champignons (la grande). Il faut un appétit de gargantua pour tout avaler mais c'était bon a commenté ma voisine.Pour l'accueil, je m'inscris en faux de tout ce qui a été raconté. je répète nous avons été bien accueillis. Il ne faut pas confondre retenue et austérité comme certains l'ont écrit.A recommander Stationnement à proximité facileLe blanc était sublime. A 8 personnes nous avons payé café compris 245CFH rien à dire.
