I'm probably there twice a month. Very young people, keep us old young. Good food, cold beer. Hospitality is very important. I'll be back, no questions asked.

Fantastic atmosphere, an interplay between an artistic ambience and incredibly delicious creative cuisine. Was warmly welcomed every time. From old to young, everyone is represented and if you're interested in gospel music or deep conversations, there's a lot on offer here. There is never a lack of drinks, from traditional cider juice to first-class rum - the range is as diverse as your hosts. Top place can only be recommended

From a business perspective, the Old Johann Tavern is a mystery! The prices are unbeatably low and Trinkeld is vehemently rejected. Marketing is a foreign word. It is unclear where the service staff gets their endless enthusiasm from. Especially since some regular guests sometimes display quite unruly behavior and categorically ignore the curfew. The tavern, disguised as a middle-class single-family home, is worth a visit at any time!! Absolute insider tip!

I was picked up on time at the train station by the shuttle bus. When I arrived at the tavern I was greeted in a very friendly manner with a “caipi” that didn’t skimp on cachaça You will be spoiled with culinary delights in the tavern. The exquisite fish and smoked ribs were a culinary delight. The bar had a large selection. Everything was there, from the brilliant rum to the bloodroot that took some getting used to. In general, the drinks were not handled timidly. I never sat in front of an empty glass and even a "normal" Red Bull was served with a shot The only thing I have to complain about is the dining table, which is a bit too solid and stable for my taste. That's why I give it 4/5 stars and I look forward to seeing you again.

Had to have our beer YOURSELF!!!! get it in the basement. I'll probably come back anyway. Prices are unbeatable and you immediately get that rustic tavern feeling. The audience from 20 to 50 is there, even the son of the house sits at the table. When old Johan talks about his adventures with a good rum in his hand, the whole room cheers. Great. A shuttle service would be desirable due to the location.

Great ambience with first-class hospitality! I don't even know anything like that from my otherwise hospitable homeland of South America. I stopped by spontaneously and was able to enjoy an excellent meal with the right alcohol.
