I've eaten at Tell several times and it's always been good. However, my last visit on Saturday was the last time for me as something was wrong with my Cordon Bleu. I've been in bed since Saturday with vomiting and stomach cramps. That's a shame because my experience so far has always been positive. P.S. This is my opinion and experience, which of course is individual for each person.

I first went to Tell for business, the food and service were very good. So I also thought that I would also visit it privately. The food was very good 👍, but the service staff were slightly overwhelmed. I don't think the employees are the problem either, it's just too much work for two people. I had a cordon bleu which was really delicious, my girlfriend had a pizza 🍕, but it wasn't the same as when I visited the shop. Overall it's a good restaurant, but maybe they should have more employees so the restaurant could earn 5 stars.

Specially reserved so that we have a place and when we got there they said there was no room and we should wait. After 15 minutes of waiting we left.

I first ordered a pizza Frutti di Mare. The food already looked unappetizing. As I was eating I noticed that the dough was completely soaked. Then I ordered something else and left the pizza. Unfortunately it wasn't good either

I love the ambience and the staff. I'm 60:40 with the food - the roast beef and pizzas were always great on site. But the cordon bleu with "fresh" pineapple beforehand had probably gotten the last of it from the can. Was disappointing for me.

Huge pizza with a low price and great taste

Yesterday I visited with my family. We reserved early. When we arrived, they wanted to offer us a place in the basement where we would have been alone. We found that very inappropriate, especially on Mother's Day. The owner said unfortunately there's nothing they can do about it. We then contacted the service staff that we wanted another seat in the restaurant. The waiter was friendly and asked us to wait 10 minutes. After about 15 minutes we got a seat in the restaurant. I found this rude and cheeky of the owner. He claimed that we had only made a reservation in the afternoon, which was simply a lie. He could also have mentioned when making the reservation that they were full. So you could have looked for another local place. I also find the owner's manner strange, no matter when you are there, he always sits at the table with guests (who he probably knows) and talks to them. Even if you leave the restaurant and walk past it, he doesn't say goodbye. However, the service staff was very friendly and the food was good.

It was our first time eating here and we liked the atmosphere at first glance. The service and food were equally excellent. We only noticed the relatively cheap looking napkins. There would be a need for optimization here. We are already looking forward to our second visit to Tell.

Service daughter speaks barely audibly. Food mediocre in the evening. Even though the restaurant is hardly occupied that evening, we are completely ignored. The tenant or the person responsible for the service usually talks to a family friend. I ordered small tartare. Toast is loveless, toasted white. Normally you ask if the food is good or if you would like some toast; unfortunately not here. Finally we can pay attention and ask for an extra piece of toast. Usually at least two of them come now. Unfortunately not here. 🤔 Again, the “single” piece of toast is barely toasted. The whole waiting cost us about 25'. Now we don't want dessert anymore and we have to pay. I explain to the person in charge that we would have actually liked a dessert and coffee. But are disappointed by the miserable wait. Now the really interesting thing begins: Instead of apologizing, he talks about the 10' break he just had and that they always have their customers under control here in the restaurant. I ask him directly why he can't just say "sorry"? He's really having a hard time with it. His big ego only allows it at the end. During the whole "chat" he kept using our first name names. What strikes me is: 1st person takes our order 2nd person brings our food 3. The person in charge stands with his back to his guests and loses track of things Conclusion: Food is mediocre with one of the worst processes I've ever seen here.

The pizzas are enormously large and crispy.

Food super tasty, staff nice and friendly. Perfect for a date, work party or family occasion.

Very clean place. Friendly service with competence and humor. Delicious food at fair prices. To start with a fine nut salad with crutons. The flambéed skewers are an absolute recommendation, almost a must... the entrecôte, cream schnitzel with croquettes and vegetables are also very tasty. The ice cream and homemade tiramisu are the perfect end to a wonderful meal. You have to be a little patient after placing the order, but it's well worth it. Can only recommend the restaurant. The only downside is that the room temperature is kept a bit low, otherwise I would have given the ambience 5 stars.

Amazing thin pizza. My favorite place to eat one as of Dec 2022. Was there for lunch so cannot judge how the evenings look like, but during lunch hour there is a lot of people having (you guessed it) lunch, so don't expect an atmosphere of culinary endeavors.

Delicious giant pizzas, paper-thin and quickly baked in a wood-fired oven. To enjoy there or to take away. Easily accessible location with large parking lot. Relatively large food and drink menu. Fair prices and friendly staff. Solid tavern and simple restaurant. Always my pleasure.

I had ordered a tomato soup (it's vegetarian...) which had meat (chopped) in it. When I spoke to the boss and showed him what I meant, he just looked at me with big eyes and went into the kitchen. After a few minutes he came back with the excuse that it was bacon from the salad. But there is a huge difference between minced meat and bacon.... I think it's very weak to look someone in the eyes and lie, even though the other person knows full well that they're lying. The pizza arrived only half warm. Staff was there for a very long time even though there was nothing going on. Thank you very much for the inedible food.

It was once again an “aha moment” in a very positive sense. Everything is perfect here, from the service to the dishes, which are simple but very tasty. The pizza is simply awesome and huge. The junior was also happy with his standard menu, which eliminated another hurdle. It wasn't the last time we were here.

The food wasn't good, the bread was dried like old bread, the salad wasn't fresh the pizza wasn't made with love.. the terrace wasn't clean. it was a disappointment.

A really tasty and pleasant restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the pizzas are really good. We haven't ordered the other dishes yet, but the pizzas surprised me very well. They are very large, so I recommend ordering 2 pizzas for 3 people.

After ordering, the pizza came first! Then the salad... I got the wrong pizza anyway, but it was taken back. My salad didn't have enough sauce and wasn't stirred. The second Coke I ordered didn't come either, it only came after a complaint. It probably wasn't the day!

You were great on Saturday. After the catering Stalder “forgot” the order for 50 Geburi and 40 people were waiting hungry for something to eat, you helped us tremendously within an hour with pizzas for an aperitif and a fine, simple menu. Thank you very much.

You will also be served quickly at lunchtime. Parking lot is big enough. You can choose from a 3-day menu so it's a little cheaper. For Chf. 16.5 there is a salad, main course and dessert. Drink not included. I can highly recommend pizza. Very thin & a diameter of about 40 cm. Particularly inexpensive in the daily menu. Service friendly and accommodating. Gladly again

Flat and hard pizza! Almost existing and bad garnish!!! A scandal when you read the reviews, which I think must be made by their family!!! Luckily we were just passing through! And the bonus, a liter of tap water carbonated by them for CHF 8.50!!!!

Service is good, fast and friendly. Pizza was delicious, but I have other favorites. That's a matter of taste. If you like thin pizza bases, this is the place for you. Big menu = big selection

We go here for lunch every now and then. Super nice staff, delicious food and very beautiful garden. Unfortunately it was a bit mixed up at lunchtime today - two different menus for two people, but unfortunately everyone had to eat for themselves (there shouldn't be a 15-20 minute split). Dessert was also completely forgotten. It's a shame... I still recommend it with 5 stars - not every day is the same... We'll be happy to come back 😉

We (2 people) just wanted to sit at a table for 4 that had not been reserved and was set for 2 people. We were directed to another table. But there were always two people sitting on the entire side with the same tables? We wanted to eat today but after this event we immediately got up and left. You don't want to pay anything for behavior like that. Not competent like that!

Quatro stationi to take with you. Dough is good, toppings are disastrously completely distributed, the rest of the mushrooms are all slapped on in the middle. Artichokes were also cold and were very large pieces. Middle watery. I'm disappointed that for 20.- I'll probably never get pizza from there again. A pity. Conclusion: it was the worst pizza I have ever had.

Now the terraces are open again. The weather was so nice that we had a coffee here. Around midday it was very busy. The staff was, as always, very friendly. I will come here again. Very friendly place.

Mittagsmenü...🤔 Beim Salat war ich überrascht, nichts besonderes aber frisch und gut. Menü selbst, Braten zu trocken, ja sehr trocken und der Kartoffelstock ...😒 Mit frischen Kartoffeln wäre das ganze ja noch ok gewesen aber Stocki!!!!😕 Und für 16.50 CHF nicht einmal ein Gemüse dazu, geht nicht...🤔 Ja mein Fazit, essbar aber auch nicht mehr...☹

Das Restaurant bietet eine grosse Auswahl an Menüs an, da sollte jeder etwas finden. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die Cordon-Bleu-Variationen. Sie schmecken lecker und zart. Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

Die Tagesmenu sind lecker und die Pizzas gross. Aber der service lässt an aufmerksamkeit zu wünschen übrig. Auch wartet man eine weile bis 6 leute am selben Tisch das essen serviert bekommen.

Einmal mehr genossen wir im Tell feines Essen (Kalbsleberli / Saltimbocca). Service und Preis/Leistung top. Kommen immer wieder gerne. Danke an Reda und sein Team.
