The Garden Grille & Bar in Davos

Ordered (via Uber eats) what I hope would be fresh food but the lamb doner that was delivered must be at least two weeks old considering how dry/rubbery it tasted. No point in adding any notes to your order because they’ll ignore it. Also, a third of what’s advertised on Uber eats they actually don’t have. No heart in the services they provide, just take the money and move to the next victim. Would recommend you avoid these lot.

Food was 4 and half hours late and they kept hanging up when I calles and said they would refund me and didn't. Said they would send extra food and didn't. Food was cold and not edible. No refund given. Disgusting restaurant and service. Needs shutting down.

Where do I start, 1st time ordering in a few months after multiple issues previously- missing food - cold or late This occasion ordered at 6.22pm on a sunday with a delivery time of 7.35pm, food finally arrived at 8.40pm. Food arrived but chicken cold - chips Lukewarm -salad & sauce’s completely wrong to my order Tried to call multiple times to check status prior to delivery and after delivery to complain but phone line switched off called the day after to complain told to call after 5 as the manager would be in, called at 6 to be told no manager in today please call tomorrow. called the following day told no manager available still. Absolutely shocking customer service !!!!!!!! Wont be ordering again, customer lost

No manners, messed up an order that was preordered 1.5-2hrs before. Didn’t follow order for salad request and then delivered late after phoning to chase the order. Order arrived missing chips phone again no apology just a so do you want them. Gone down hill used to order twice a week but food has gone down hill and 1/2 the time lamb shush tastes like it’s passed it. I’ve been a chef for nearly 30 years so I’m pretty experienced in knowing if something’s passed it’s best.

Food was appalling. Bread undercooked, lamb overdone, salad wrong and no sauces provided. This place use to be brilliant but has become terrible

Food is absolutely bang on, staff are freindly, and they do deliver as well, good sized portions as well.

Great food, both the meat and vegetarian/felafel. I ordered from the website and it arrived 40 mins later. 5 stars from me.

Ordered at 7pm and it arrived around at 8:45pm after calling twice. Food was actually cold not even lukewarm, Bread was stone hard and rice were so hard to eat. Ordered from here after a long time, used to order regularly. But never gonna order again.

Best takeaway Kebab I've ever eaten !

I hate cheese but had to order it. Don’t order burgers from here unless you love love love cheese.

Is it so hard to give fresh chips with the meal? Burger was really nice but the chips was cold and really bad.. it was cold and re-fried.

Portion sizes are ridiculously small and the food doesn’t arrive with sauce or salad as you’d expect from any doner takeaway. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again. Such a shame because the food actually tastes fine - portions are just a joke though.

Ordered at 7pm was told at 8pm its on the way. Called again at 8.30 was told its on the way. Arrived lukewarm at 8.40 but chips were missing. Called back and told chips would be sent. Called at 9.20 as still no chips asked for a refund. 9.25 chips arrived we refused to accept and asked for a refund. Wonder how long that will take. Absolutely disgraceful service. Paid cash as well. So disappointed in the lack of service and the food.

Absolutely disgusting food and very rude staff. I would never order from here again. I found a dead spider in my food and the staff including the manager was extremely rude to me and refused to refund my meal. I used to eat here regularly but after that experience I would never order again.

Driver was late and had given half our order to someone else, they returned much later with lukewarm food and hardly any filling in the wraps. Then they couldn't be bothered to answer my many emails. They used to be superb until they changed owners.

Best take away food I had :) so clean inside and we got the food in separate boxes salad,meat and even bread pita with oil and red pepper! Well done team 👏 keep up with the good service and of course fair price for all the food we got :) x

We ordered our food at 6.15 this evening. After 3 phone calls and 2hrs 15minutes later we still have no food. Staff answering the phone were not helpful and just made excuses that made no sense!!! First time attempting this place as it was recommended to us. We will certainly never be attempting to order here again.

Fast delivery, well packed, and was very tasty. The chicken Shish was juicy and full of flavour

First time order, leaflet posted through door on Saturday, chicken shish and chicken doner box both with salad and Turkish bread. Delivery time was great, definitely having again, loved the smokey taste of the rice too, everything was perfect

We didn't even get the last order we placed. It was 45 minutes late and we couldn't get through on the phone to query or cancel. It's a real shame as we've used them for a few years now and the food is generally good. The portions sizes have definitely gotten smaller in the past 6 months but the costs have gone up. I would seriously consider someone else for delivery, or go to collect the order yourself - that is a nightmare in itself as it won't be ready when you turn up anyway

Take out - quality, flavour and incredible value! One of the best meals I’ve had. Salad was fresh and full of crunch and flavour and meat (lamb and chicken) was excellent quality, tender and plenty of it not just 3 pieces.

The food is excellent - if it arrives. Had to wait two hours for deliveries on the last two occasions. Order food from here (it's good) but collect it yourself if you can. Their deliveries are rubbish.

I used to order from these guys almost 3 or 4 times a week. Considering the thousands I spent over the years, you would expect politeness especially when they messed things up. Instead an utterly rude person who hung up on me last time I called. Also portion size halved. I'm so glad I found somewhere else who values me as a customer.

We have always really enjoyed the food from here but our most recent delivery was very disappointing and not the high standard that we have come to expect. Sadly very disappointing on this occasion.

Rubbish, ordered 3 kababs one small, one large mixed doner, both came same size and delivery took an 1h.35 mins, also order and a small lamb shish and everything cold when delivered. Best kabab, you must be joking!!!! Never again

There is very little point in selecting a delivery time when it is ignored. I had to phone twice to see where my order was which was placed at about 5pm for delivery at 7.10pm only to be told sorry. When the food did arrive about 40 mins late it was reasonable but cold. Would not order from here again.

Well what can I say we was looking forward to our treat for the end of the week and it did not dissapoint. food was lovely and hot. delivered on time and had the taste we was hoping it was going to have. lovely grilled meats, bread and braised rice. highly recommended. thank you Garden Grill

Just ordered a combination kebab (chicken and lamb shish) on-line. As part of the 'Special Request', I asked if the rice could be swapped out for chips. When we received our order there was no chips, so I called GG only to be told that they do not swap out rice for chips, if we want chips we will have to pay an additional £3! So basically, we paid best part of £22 for some meat, salad and bread! As I said to GG, what they should have done is call us or make it clear that our 'Special Request' doesn't always mean you are going to get yr request. Lovely bits of meat, it was enjoyable what we had but disappointed that GG feels chips are a bigger, more expensive commodity than rice.😪

Disgusting customer service. Placed an order at 7:30pm, was told upto an hours wait. 2 hours later still no food, was told it was out for delivery. We called 20mins later and was told again it was out for delivery. Called again and the girl hadn't muted the phone, could clearly hear her talking to someone else, she had no idea what she was talking about said the food was out for delivery again, then asked our address. So we said can we just cancel please, our night is ruined. The girl hung up the phone, no apology. Disgusted in the lack of customer service. Do not reccomend, will not use again!!!!!

Food is lovely especially the Turkish bread but the chips have been terrible the last few times. Really soggy and tasteless. Normally pretty good so hope this changes !

Ordered food more than 2 hours ago, first time they called us after an hour and a half to check if food was delivered-when I informed them that it hasn't been delivered they said they will check. I have then called twice to check myself - they informed me it will be about 15 minutes, it's been more about an hour and food still hasn't arrived. Disapointed with delivery service!!!

Really 3 or 3.5, but decided on the more generous 4 due to past orders & experiences. Not overly impressed… but to be perfectly honest & fair, I’ve had the food from here on several occasions & everytime had a quick punctual service & with good food to boot (albeit too much salt!) however, the last time I wanted to order, I had no cash, So I called & requested to add on more than just the ‘1’ pound included in the delivery cost…. After all, I always tip well (especially after spending a lot of time in America, where salaries are pretty much based on tips!), but no… they do not take cards over the phone & do not have the facility to add on for the delivery driver! So, either order over phone with cash on delivery, or order on-line with card payments with no facility to tip! Not good enough. Please sort out your system to reward the delivery guys when customers request it. I regularly order from a local Thai & always add on about £5 for the driver… this not only never seems to be a problem, but is always reviewed with enormous gratitude (even though the restaurant itself isn’t actually benefiting). So, just 2 small tweaks - change your payment system so delivery drivers can be rewarded & hold back on a bit of salt - then you’ll get 5.5 out of 5 for every meal… just like Ermans - your sister restaurant. Please learn from this… after all, the customer is always right!

I love the food here yh sometimes the wait is a bit long but well worth the wait the only thing I can complain about is the abuse and rudeness of some of the customers towards the staff they are all lovely and polite

It’s a bit hit and miss . First time tried pretty decent but came back again and was bit disappointed. Chicken was dry and not as flavourful . Might give it one more try and the staff could do with being a bit more friendly and welcoming

Food 5 stars, Customer service 1 Star!!! Ive eaten from here a number of times and the food is really tasty. They are really busy and I know there will be a wait involved BUT after tonight I'm not so sure. I placed an order and was told it will be 15 minutes. 45 Minutes later the food was no where in sight, when I asked how long the reply was "we are waiting on the donor meat" with no time given. No one is hungry this late at night and to top it all they don"t even apologise they just shrug their shoulders. Maybe they need to go on a customer service course or something. I cancelled the order got my money back and now totally starving.

Best kebab I’ve had down south!

Just moved into the area so gave them a try. Was told they were too busy to put chips in my wrap even if I paid for a whole portion. Great service! Food arrived but was missing a meal. Replacement didn’t arrive for over an hour later. Told they would refund us but we’re still waiting. Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t go again.

Got order in good time but no bread, that came 1/2 hour after the rest of the meal. By then we'd already eaten it. The rest of the meal was ok but chips were cold. First time tried these, sorry but won't be trying it again.

Really disappointed, food left off order and didn’t find out until I got home. Rang to report it and told we’ll replace it next time you come in!!!! Probably use somebody else next time. Food wasn’t that good this time either.

Delicious as always... until tonight. Had to wait for doner wrap even though phoned through my order, but not too long. Got it home to find out it was stone cold, hardly any meat and hardly any salad. No red cabbage at all. Probably won't use again. Has it got new management?

We have used garden grill many times I the past and have nothing but praise for the good food and prompt delivery . Unfortunately we have had a bad experience. We have had waited over two hours for our food and it turned up incorrectly . I reported the incorrect delivery and was told they would sort it straight away still waiting.

TERRIBLE. Absolute rip off. The food arrived late, it was cold, the staff are rude. It was also overcooked and cheap quality. AVOID.

I hardly write reviews BUT ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! First time ordering from this resturant. They said it'll take an hr for the food to be delivered. I called asking where my food is because they were an hr and a half late at the time. The lady said she'll find out and left me on the phone for more than 3 minutes then she just hung up. I called back and this guy was very rude to me stating they are very busy and they are running late with everyone. I asked if you're busy, then why take on more orders. He refused to answer my question and continued to repeat that they are busy..It took over 2 hours to receive my food and not one apology from any of them I spoke to.. I'll never order from there again!!

Advise - checking they have taken down the correct address! Order took a lot longer than should have but food was very nice! A discount for the error would have been nice. Hence 3 stars.

We have ordered on a few occasions. The food takes longer to arrive than specified. The food is dry, lacking in certain foods, it’s always been very disappointing. We have More bread than meat, chicken etc. Always plenty salad 🙄 I would avoid this take away. Not worth the cost at any rate. Sad to say. Expensive..... I would avoid

The food delivered was all really good, but it was half an hour late and cold! I had to microwave it! Also, avoid the chilli sauce as despite the rest of the food being good, this was horrible, cheap and nasty sauce from a bottle. A shame as the meal could have been so nice. Removed another star as the same thing happened again. Never again

waste of time and money, under cooked chicken and very bad collection time, my order was not ready when i went to collect, had to stand around and wait, very annoying, wont be coming back and surely glad i didn't eat raw chicken.

Last week was the first time we came to that magnificent restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the efficient service, with the finest cuisine and wine and with the decent pay. We will definitely go back there in a short time.

Ordered food Tonight at 5:35, food turned up at 7:30. It took a phone call at 1hr15 to be told it's around the corner. Another call at 1hr40 to be told it'll be there any minute, turns up after a further 15 minutes. The food was stone cold! I pre-paid and wish i hadn't as i would have turned the food away. To have to chase up a food order twice is unacceptable. Oh and the order was for 2 chicken shish. I never leave reviews generally, just never go back. I had to make an acception for this poor experience.

7 months ago this place was so good, better than capital restaurant in enfield. But now the £50 order we place monthly is always missing items (lamb/chicken/hummus/salad etc) and the amount of doner meat now takes up 3 quarters of the box. Either modify the menu or provide the person packing with a tick sheet. Sadly this is the 4th time it has happened and we will not be ordering again

Very professional and great customer service, really recommend the grilled chicken burger as it very fresh and tasty. Rarely give takeaway or dine in restaurants a 5-star rating, although their services was that immaculate I couldn’t find anything to criticise.

Website is absolutely shocking placed order said order was confirmed. I called to ask where the order was over an hour later only to be told the website doesn’t work correctly and the order was not placed at all A phone call would have been nice !

I meet friends in this restaurant often! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot at least once a month. The food is excellent, the staff members are helpful and the payment is decent. I enjoy going in this place to have a rich lunch.

Pay after you get your food or better still not at all. Horrible staff, felt the need to shout as i asked if i could get new burger made because the bun had been dropped on the floor while in full view of me. but still lied and said it didn't so paid for food i couldn't for obvious reasons. i complain to resolver to get money back, but sure i'll have to wait and waste my time following that up.

stealing all my customers with your poorly made food. your place may be new but i can make food better. so don't come here people. walk up to my place near co-op, will give discount and better food.
