Best burger joint in Geneva imo but most definitely better than Five Guys. The only downside would be the tipping - when you pay with a card, it kinda puts you on the spot to tip right in front of the staff. They should just ditch that and go for a tip jar instead, so you can tip if you feel like it, without the pressure.

There are gourmet burgers where you compete in creativity by combining various foods to obtain something unique and there are standard burgers where you simply combine the basics (buns, steak, pickles, sauce, cheddar, bacon). Here is the second option, simple and effective, no frills but good stuff. it's quite successful, I find myself feeling from time to time the need to go through the door to be tempted, even if the simplicity and ease of preparation should lower the score when compared with a dish of the day. Fries nothing more, should do better on this side to justify the salty note.

I ate there for the first time, because I often order for home and it comes from the restaurant at Eaux-Vives. I found the team super friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. A little surprised by the fries which seemed less good and different to me than when they delivered them. Hamburger-wise it was perfect. It's also nice that everything is available, we only take what we need and there are sorting bins. Top.

NEW STUDENT MENU AVAILABLE! I have been to this THF for a few years and the food is still as good as always. The fries are excellent and the burger is juicy and tasty. A very friendly and helpful staff, combined with a nice warm atmosphere makes coming to this restaurant a very enjoyable experience. Most importanly, they recently released a student menu which includes a normal cheeseburger (or the vegan option) with fries and a drink of your choice for only ✨️15 CHF✨️, which is a great price considering the normal prices for the burgers and fries. So with this new menu and a nice atmosphere perfect for students, I can only recommend you to try restaurant for a night-out (or lunch) with your friends.

If you want a McDonald's let's go! But if you want a really good burger, honestly give it up, you'll be as disappointed as me.

Horrible quality of the food. I have ordered a cheeseburger and a portion of fries, and I can hardly remember to be so unsatisfied with something so simple as a burger. If it was wrapped into a McDonald's package, I would have believed 100% that this was coming from there. The pale defrost fries are just a handful and cost 7 franks, an unjustifiable prize even for Geneva. The meat was fat and all in all fast food junk. I see no reason to go there.

After having a good dine-in experience at The Hamburger Foundation, I decided to order the same milkshake through Uber Eats. The serving glass was less than half full (~180 ml) when it arrived and cost 11 CHF, whereas when I had the same milkshake at the same 11 CHF price point on-site, I received atleast 400 ml in a much larger container. Must implement better quality control.

I used to be a regular visitor of the place (Paquis), and just went back today after Geneva lockdowns, one of the waitress informed me of the changes. New management. Now you need to order at the desk, like on a kebab. You don’t get any longer plates but the burgers wrapped a la McDonald’s (they claim recycled paper), there used to be menus now there are no longer available, but you can order on many other options, at the end of the day more expensive if you still want to enjoy a salad. They didn’t had enough home made limonade, and you need pick by yourself the dressings ( mayo, ketchup, etc). I understand during covid period adjustment where needed, however the new management doesn’t seem to have any interest in customer service. The burger was just ok, I asked bloody and it was medium, and had the impression the bread changed, but can’t be sure on this. At the end of the day the one paying the price was me by having a Mehh! Experience, the waitress bc I left no tip as the only service from her was bringing the burger from the kitchen to the table, and 3rd the hamburger foundation because I’m not going back! I trust this helps new management to improve their service again. Their will remember this review if they don’t as their business is dimmed to decline. Best of luck

We got takeaway burgers from THF mainly for a craving for sweet potato fries and so it was THF rather than Holy Cow next door. After a short wait of 15-20 minutes we leave with a chicken burger, a cheese and the famous sweet potato fries. The very friendly staff and even generously offered us a drink to understand the wait so that's cool. And unfortunately this is where everything goes wrong: The sweet potato fries are in fact classic fries even though we came just for that (too bad...the mistake not to make) Then the burgers are honestly average, the chicken was not bad but a little dry, the cheese is also good but not crazy, the bread is too greasy and it looks more like McDonald's than a real burger for 18.- with fries extra... In short, in the area for a better burger there is Holy Cow 50m away and then there are plenty of other good places that are much better. Besides, the tables are horribly sticky and the staff, despite their kindness, seem overwhelmed even though there is no one there. Damage! So I don't recommend (but not a disaster either...!)

Même au mcdonalds ou à burger king ils sont meilleurs et moins chers! Je n'y mettrai plus jamais les pieds, 38 balles pour un burger pas fameux, petit, quelques frites et un petit milkshake qui a l'air d'être un condensé de mousse, DU VOL!!!!!!
