Claudia recommended the restaurant to us. Friendly, clean and it's really well cooked.

The Tobel Restaurant is a bit hidden but a real insider tip! Only recommended because the food is outstanding and of top quality. The cordon bleu is the best we have had in the region so far and the changing dishes always taste excellent! A special compliment about the vegetables: they are always on point, with a slight bite and never overcooked. We'd love to come back!

Nice place. We've been there a few times, the food is great, the price is fair. Unfortunately, the long waiting time isn't great. If you only planned 1 hour for lunch, that's not enough. You should plan 1.5 hours.

Hello D. Sommerhalder We were there before the company holidays, i.e. on a Friday in July. The staff and especially the young lady were extremely unfriendly. I think it would be fair if you could tell the staff to treat ALL guests or people with respect. Otherwise the food is really great. The salad was fresh and the main course was delicious. The only drawback is the staff. Really a shame.

With our visit, 14 people from the USA, with us Swiss there were 37 people, we spent an unforgettable, great afternoon in the Rest Tobel with wonderful food, tip top and friendly service staff. I was there for a concert and also had dinner. Actually a good restaurant. The menu is small, but fresh. that's the way I like it. What I strongly criticize, however, is that I cannot understand why the service first delivers the cold salads from the dishes that are waiting on the pass to be delivered to the guest and the hot food has to wait. The kitchen brigade even pushed the salads in front of the warm food... and the service didn't seem to care that there were still warm dishes waiting. My food was promptly only lukewarm when it arrived. Points are deducted for this. The atmosphere was good, the performing groups gave their best. So actually a nice evening. The garden terrace is spacious, the restaurant interior impresses with plenty of space, high ceilings and an attractive design. The menu is clear. The food was beautifully presented and a real treat. Were there as a family. The food tasted really good! So they can cook there! The waitress was extremely friendly, but there is an extreme lack of employees in this restaurant. We waited for 2.5 hours until we finally received our main course. The funny thing was that other customers who came an hour later got everything (starter to dessert) before us and then left again. And when they were gone, we finally got our food. This is absolutely not acceptable, they knew we were coming because we had reserved. Another negative point is that you can hear every knock in the kitchen upstairs so well that it can be quite annoying after 2.5 hours. The price is completely overpriced for me. It's a real shame for the food but we won't go there again.
