Treichli in Lutzenberg

Very loving hostess. The boss looked after us like kings even though we just wanted to have something warm to drink and eat dessert. We were given a very lovingly prepared place in a quiet corner. We ordered cozy warm drinks and kaiserschmarn with vanilla sauce. It was incredibly delicious! The sauce was even warm. It was an experience! We will visit you more often just for these quiet dessert evenings! Kind regards and goodbye!!

Today we visited Sabine in her eagle's nest high above the thick fog over Lake Constance and St.Gallen. What happened to this pub - chapeau! Homely, tasteful furnishings with a fireplace, a good selection and the ingredients are only hand-picked and of the highest quality and taste. ♥️👍 The menu leaves nothing to be desired, the goat cheese tastes fine and balanced and is warm, the mussels in a bit of spicy curry sauce are a positive surprise, the veal liver is a revelation - I've never had better! Unfortunately the wine 🍷 was a bit too cold. For dessert there was cinnamon and mango ice cream. Both were absolutely successful, but especially the cinnamon ice cream, which is supposed to be extremely difficult to make homemade in this quality. 😲💗😋😋😋 Overall, it was a successful banquet to celebrate a reunion and surrounded by perfect service and hospitality! What else would you expect from Sabine! ♥️🥰♥️👍 Thank you dear Sabine, I’d be happy to come back at any time! 💜🫶🙏🙏🙏

We used to go to Treichli very often. But after the change of ownership, service and friendliness unfortunately decreased. Ambience and view of Lake Constance, still unique. The food (chicken in the Chörbli) is also very tasty. (I can't say anything about the other dishes) So unfortunately I won't be coming anymore. Price performance is no longer right for us.

We were finally able to eat at Sabine's Treichli (we had put it off for far too long). The view is hard to beat and the restaurant is elegantly and lovingly furnished. The food was simply great from A to Z. Personally, I can recommend the cheese soup and the salad with goat cheese as starters. Plus a glass of rosé champagne... perfect! We had a lovely evening and we will now visit the Treichli more often.

The view and location of the restaurant are excellent. The tables are beautifully set and the atmosphere invites you to linger. Overall, the food is very good but the price is definitely on the expensive side. What's really surprising about actually good food is that the vegetables are more reminiscent of frozen vegetables - this could be improved. But what's even more bizarre is the fact that the same vegetables are used as a topping for the tarte flambée. So you have to imagine that whole Brussels sprout rosettes are lying on the tarte flambée. But if you avoid this you can eat very well. @Treichli: Maybe use better hand-cut vegetables, then these dishes will also be something.

We had a wonderful time at Treichli: the food is fantastic, the staff is incredibly nice and accommodating and the boss, who we were able to get to know better, impressed us with her friendly and open manner. I can highly recommend the Treichli!

Price/performance isn't right at all, it's a shame it used to be better. Staff not trained, boss didn't even say hello. Were asked to leave at 10 p.m. They want to close and paid 300 for the food. Unfortunately I can only recommend the restaurant because of the location, otherwise it's too overpriced.

An incredibly beautiful restaurant that makes you feel like you're on vacation from the first minute. The Mediterranean cuisine supports this feeling and the friendly and lively hostess rounds off the experience. We fell in love with the restaurant and will definitely come back. Dear Treichli family I've been thinking for a long time about whether I should write to you or not, but since it's bothering me, I'm writing to you now. We visited you for the first time a year ago, were able to sit on the terrace and had a fabulous evening. We ate chicken in a basket and fish - excellent. The view, beautiful. It was an unforgettable evening. So I wanted to surprise my girlfriend a year later, on May 20th, and propose to her. To do this, I called a month in advance, spoke to Marcel and asked for a window seat because it was supposed to be a special evening. I told him about my proposal. He confirmed the window seat for me on the phone. Three days before the reservation, I asked whether it would be possible to put peonies on the table and charge me for them. Unfortunately, it was rejected straight away and no alternative was offered. Of course it was short notice, but I would have really appreciated an accommodation in this regard at that moment, such as: “It's too late for peonies, but I could otherwise give you a bouquet of flowers.”, or something like that. Very unfortunate. I am a passionate restaurateur myself and it was a very unusual experience for me. If I had wanted to, something would definitely have been possible. I almost went there myself the day before to bring the flowers, but then I didn't because it took over an hour to get to you. When we showed up for dinner, we didn't get a window seat, despite making a reservation a month in advance. I remembered the phone call with Marcel again, but there was nothing I could do, not even a “excuse me” or “I’m sorry”. We were very disappointed. We would love to plan our little wedding dinner with you too because we were so enchanted at our first meal. But after this experience and this disappointment, we're not so sure anymore. Very friendly service and good food. Still very nice place with a fantastic view. For me it has lost some of its former decorative charm, but is still a charming and atmospheric place for a romantic get-together.

Taking a trip on a motorbike on a beautiful sunny day and stopping off at the Treichli is a very good idea. Apart from the beautiful view of Lake Constance, an entertaining chat with the nice boss is an enrichment for the soul. The meals on the menu are clear, which benefits the quality of the food. The ambience is timeless and modern and invites you to linger. The next ray of sunshine I will come back without a doubt.

We were able to get to know this great location through a birthday. Craziness! An insider tip because it is well hidden away from the street. So good that I want to tell everyone about it out loud. Only recently (2 months) a new owner and her team started in Treichli. They were all very welcoming. And when the weather isn't exactly stormy, you can look out over the whole of Lake Constance💕. The menu is rather small but the food is very well prepared. The place is wonderfully designed and decorated. That wasn't the last visit. We will be back! Thank you very much for this great experience.

Treichli with new management: It's too cold in the restaurant. There's a country station on the radio with commercials and constant chatter. Way too loud, it doesn't work at all. The facility hasn't gotten any better. The food was good. The map is confusing. The service is not very attentive and easily overwhelmed. Unfortunately I don't like the new Treichli anymore. A pity.

The Treichli restaurant reopened on November 1st and we wanted to try it out. We went for lunch, unfortunately the weather was very cloudy and we couldn't enjoy the beautiful view. We actually really liked the restaurant; the very nice, competent chef de service served us at lunchtime. We ordered a curry coconut soup and a green salad as a starter. The soup was very spicy, we like spicy food but it was really too spicy. The salad was good. For the main course we ordered a veal cordon bleu with fries and vegetables and a wild pepper with spaetzli and vegetables. The cordon bleu was good, but the price of 49.- is very high. The wild pepper was ok, but it was more of a pre-dinner meal, the sauce was very bland and watery, the spaetzli didn't look homemade and the vegetables were also very bland and bland. For dessert there was a chocolate souffle that was very good. All in all the food was ok but in general the prices are not justified.

From the Treichli you have a wonderful view over the entire Lake Constance, from Bregenz to almost Konstanz. Thanks to the large windows, you can always look down at the lake. For food: the leaf salad served in a somewhat awkward bowl was simple, fresh and good. Unfortunately, not enough bread was served. The veal liver with rösti was also good, but not entirely convincing (a little too salty, rösti not quite freshly cooked). The chicken in the basket with fries tasted good. But eating from the basket is very inconvenient. The homemade sour cream ice cream tasted very good. There is potential for improvement in service and kitchen, but also in the concept: fresh bread and normal butter, normal plates instead of tin baskets as examples. We still felt very comfortable in the Treichli and will definitely come back.

Very nice service, very tasty "Poulet im Chörbli" (marinade very tasty!), greetings from the kitchen were great and the view of the Lake Constance region is beautiful even at night!

We were lucky that several larger groups arrived after us, so the food was served to us quickly without long waiting times. From the aperitif, starter, main course, everything was top notch. The greeting from the kitchen also went well. Staff/service also very friendly and attentive. There is nothing to complain about at all (I once worked in the restaurant myself, so the observation is completely different). Everything is lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail, the music was appropriate. It was completely consistent. View of Lake Constance and with the snow it had a very romantic atmosphere. In the summer it would also be fantastic on the outdoor terrace. The only thing that was personally too much for me was the background noise given the number of guests, so it was tiring to have a conversation. But all in all an absolute recommendation.

It wasn't just the view that was breathtaking. The food was also sensational. The service rounded off the evening with humor and constant presence. Both the food and drink menus offer something to suit every taste and (almost) every wallet. We'd love to come back 👍 Insider tip: the "chicken in a basket" is amazing!! Every time I decide to eat something different and always end up ordering the chicken 😄😉

Food was fantastic...unfortunately the weather wasn't

Today we were turned away and not served for the third time. We were told that the terrace was closed. But this is not apparent in the picture. When we suggested that we get something inside and eat on the terrace, we were told: "The terrace is closed and no one is being served". For us this restaurant is now def. Story. Maybe the operators simply have something against motorcyclists. Or they don't need to serve everyone in the same friendly way. I think it's bad, as already mentioned, it was the third time.

Very friendly welcome and a great selection of both food and drinks. We decided on the sliced ​​meat with rösti and were really impressed. And that with the view...amazing!
