Tres Amigos in Dübendorf

The restaurant is located in the commercial district of Dübendorf. Bus and train stops are about 5-10 minutes walk away. Depending on the time of day, there are free parking spaces available in the parking garage for private transport. The restaurant offers a lot of seating inside on 2 floors. Outdoor seating is also part of the catering concept. We were warmly welcomed and were free to choose our table. The selection of food and drinks is very large. The pricing is medium-high for food and high for drinks. We were served quickly after ordering (approx. 20 minutes). The quality of the food was good, the quantity was rather generous. The toilets were clean.

Salty but tasteless food, not true to Mexican cuisine at all. Worst part was the service - our waiter was rude and chefs were fighting and throwing pots around in the kitchen, one walked out after during the fight. Weird place and worst experience ever. Do not come to this place

Even without a prior reservation, you will always receive a very friendly welcome. Sarah's service was extremely attentive and organized without being intrusive. You will quickly be infected with the good mood in the relaxed atmosphere. The traditional dishes are very fine and satisfy even the most hungry.

Good food but a little pricey... but it's worth it... 5-star service and a spectacular and welcoming atmosphere...

It all started great. We received our reserved spot and were happy about it. Then came the ordering situation. There were slight communication problems with the operation. But nonetheless the food and drinks were fabulous. The drinks were very fruity, tasty and rich in alcohol. We really liked that. I also accidentally ate the flower that served as decoration. But I found this SO tasty that I ate a second one. Finally, we ordered margharitas again. On Adeelo's recommendation, we chose the lemon flavor. Adeelo also told us about his Dota career. This impressed us greatly, as we are also actively involved in the Fifa eSports sector. This was an excellent choice. Finally there were two GOLDEN tequilla shots with a short but extremely happy briefing from Adeelo on how to take them. We left the restaurant with tears of joy. I would like to come again. Friendly service. Ambiance... Tres Amigos - just... The burgers are absolutely not price-performance-wise, even McD or BK are even better.

The food was super tasty, super delicious. The chocolate cake with a warm center inside is amazing. Unfortunately 1 star less because we were asked too often if we wanted anything else but otherwise very nice staff gracias. PS the burrito just looks so weird because I ordered more tomato sauce and cheese 🤤🤤🤤

It was okay, but not exceptional.

Sat March 9, 2024 8:30 p.m. Restaurant overbooked, completely full - all walk-ins are waiting at the bar for a free seat. We have never seen anyone work as efficiently as Sarah, who works in service. Like a tornado, she served everything around her with four hands full of stress, assigned seats, took orders, mixed top cocktails and was happy and motivated as well as the guests. We've never experienced anything like this, we eat out every day! Usually wait for hours, Sarah was always present. This person fulfills 200 percent of the job! We hope that this achievement will be recognized accordingly!

The food is good and inexpensive. The service is always friendly. Tiffany is simply the funniest ;-)

We waited a long time to place our drinks order. The food (mixed plates for two people) tasted mediocre and did not represent any culinary enjoyment. The highlight was two mixed margaritas from a young server.

Been here the first time and we had a blast!! We had all you can eat jumbo fajitas and all ingredients were fresh and insanely delicious. Our waiter Adeel was a friendly capable guy, with an amazing vibe!! I highly recommend this place!

Was here last night. TOP for people with allergies! As a celiac disease (gluten) and vegan, this restaurant was heaven on earth. Many dishes can be ordered gluten-free, which is unfortunately not often the case in Switzerland. TOP. There are delicious vegan options. Minuses: the price compared to the portion and the offer. 32.- for fajitas with planted, some salad, a few black beans, guacamole, 2 slices of carrots and a few - I think - canned pineapples. If people had ordered dead animals, it would have been a little cheaper, which I don't understand. Btw. Aldi has very cheap Planted 😅 Service: Sarah was super personable, warm and accommodating.

The ambience comes across well, nice decoration and matching furniture. The service is great, friendly staff. The food was OK, rather small portions, not Mexican at all. The quesadila was very dry, it was supposed to be swimming in cheese, but the outermost centimeter didn't even have any cheese on it. The three enchiladas, see photo, were really small. Filling was delicious, sauce too, but just ridiculously small portions, none of them have ever been to Mexico.

Food was average. Having lived in California for 15 years, you can call me spoiled when it comes to mexican food. We had the Pollo Guadalajara and Verdes Enchiladas. The chicken was overcooked, the sauce was average and could have been more flavorful and spicy. The enchiladas were bland and lacked any spice or flavor. Servers are full of energy, really friendly and very helpful. Atmosphere here is great with good location, nice music and ambience. Wouldn’t come here just for the food but not bad.

Fine jalapeno burgers, great service. My girlfriend had the "Enchilladas Verdes de Pollo", which are not recommended. The peanut sauce simply tastes like nothing or is salty. Fajitas looked good!

You can eat the food, but it was rather lukewarm. However, the price is completely exorbitant. And the portions are quite small! Ambiance seems outdated. Staff a bit reserved…

Food prepared carelessly. Nachos as an appetizer were practically burnt. The cheese had practically hardened and a few single black beans were simply sprinkled on top. The burritos were basically only gratinated with cheese. Chicken was not of good quality. We were there for the first and last time. Also very expensive.

As regular customers, we were looking forward to fine food with a flan dessert. Unfortunately everything went wrong. The beef buritto came gratinated without cheese and lukewarm. The hamburger with fries was also rather cold. The biggest disappointment, however, was the absolutely smallest portion of flan, unlike before, at a price of 9.50 CHF. Then the coffee….cold. Coffee machine not enough and warmed up too late 😵‍💫 That was the second time we weren't happy anymore. We'll try again now and if it doesn't work again we'll cross tres Amigo off our list.
