Trybhouz Bar in Bern

The food is okay, the beer too. The fact that I am greeted with the harsh words “hello!” on a Sunday afternoon when there are obviously employees behind the counter leaves a slightly negative impression. To the young man who serves customers with these words: “Think about whether the service sector is right for you.” In addition: this alternative, left-wing bar, which is fundamentally anti-capitalist in its ideas, then charges horrendous prices for a meal. A contrast that I will never understand.

Recommended. Even if there are already a lot of people waiting in line. Stay and linger. The Halloumi Bugers are awesome!!

Beautiful location on the Aare and therefore popular. If the weather is good, you have to be prepared for long waiting times and not get a seat. The burgers are very good and stand out from what you're used to. Special sauce and rocket and mint salad.

Once a top, once a flop. The first time an incredibly juicy burger, really good sauce and herbs. The second time, unmotivated staff behind the grill, no salad, grilled meat to death and no excuse for an unfinished burger. A pity.

Best burger in town.... there, I said it! Fine bune, fresh ingredients, refreshing herbs and a killer sauce.... simply a dream! (And the white wine that is served is also not to be despised 12 out of 5 stars) ❤️❤️❤️

Very tasty food, where emphasis is placed on the fact that it was locally, freshly and fairly produced. A large selection of drinks that invite you to try something new. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly and accommodating. A must after the Aarenschwumm.

Very tasty hallumi burgers and refreshing beer. The atmosphere is cool and the prices are moderate. You feel like you're at a small festival, only the music was missing.

One of my favorite spots on the Aare. Chilled place right on the Aare, great for a stop if you're swimming. Decent selection of chilled beer bottled and tap (inc. Simmentaler) and the burgers are amazing (hallumi or burger or BOTH with additional goodies inside. Busy on the hot sunny days so expect queues (no table service).
