TUK - Thai Urban Kitchen in Kloten

I ate chicken fried rice yesterday and now I'm in bed with food poisoning. I would advise anyone not to eat there again.

I ordered food for 30 Chf. The rice doesn't even arrive. And the food was so little and without taste. Pure disaster

On 21 February at 11:20 am I went for lunch as usual before travel. The same lady working there with glasses is so rude and unfriendly. I want to eat a chicken fried rice so in the hot counter there was fried rice with tofu, she want me to eat the rice rice with tofu instant to order what I want to eat. She turn to her friend speak in there luggage then laugh on my face both of them. After that she said ok it’s take 15 mins for me to wait to have the fried rice which was not a problem for me to wait. After paid she told to go go on the back do not wait here which I know about this but she have no manner at all this is not the first time we experience such a bad experience. After eating here few time a month for years today it’s our last day. The owner should take serious action again this because so many people already complain but nothing happen. It’s good for you now you Lost customer. Avoid guys

Unfriendly staff. Gives incorrect information regarding ingredients, which was unfortunately problematic for health reasons! Absolute no-go.

Very bad behaviour manager and staff Because of we ordered fried rice and they gave to us very oily bami chicken When we are going to ask them to change the manager didn’t agree First the staff was wrong ordered but they were blaming us to make issues First time in Switzerland I met the bad issues in this places

Very bad service The Thai lady staff was not well verse in English and didn't explain that each dishes comes with rice. The screens with menu and price list were turned off when i was there so i did not have the visiblity of the prices. I have ordered 2 dishes 1 soup and wanted only 1 rice but was given 3 rice. They costs CHF55+ in total. This was ridiculous. When I requested to pack one of the set, she was throwing cutlery, dishes and the soup pot lid loudly. This is unacceptable as someone facing tourists at the airport. Please take some action to your staff. As someone from a neighbour country of Thailand, nothing From the 3 dishes is close to the usual Thai food I had before. This is subjective to individuals but at least a decent customer service should be given. Not throwing cutleries.

I often come here and like it a lot. The reviews are pretty brutal though. The foods and the prices are pretty good

I chose it because I was craving Thai food. Looking at the reviews, it's full of bad reviews! The food isn't bad... It was very expensive at first - I did everything I told you to do It came out to about 50,000 won... (I didn't even order a drink, but it's like this... But if you look at the reviews below and see how expensive the water is, it seems like it would have been better not to have ordered it.) But there are a lot of potions!! I think I ordered more than 2 people... Then what Swiss prices I think it's worth taking into account. however You will have a hard time because there are no seats in the food court. Is it because of the time zone I came from? Take your seat first Another way to order a meal! The beef in the pad thai was a bit tough. (The food is displayed so you can view and order) Spring rolls are so so (It seems to be a vegetable roll) Still, the fried shrimp is delicious. It’s worth eating!! The service is good too!!

Food was ok. But not like in Saigon. There are no pepperoncini. Just ground.

Sweet, oily padthai, hardly any vegetables in it, not recommended.

If you want to spend hours on toilet after having a horrible padthai, just go ahead and enjoy.

We found this restaurant unexpectedly and that time the smell of Thai food was very attracted. But a bit disappointed because the taste was not close the the authentic Thai dish. Some dish is ok but I think the green curry on is quite far away from the authentic one 😅

Okay so truth is, the food is fairly tasty and reasonably priced compared to other airport options considering the portion size. The fact that they charged us 9 franks for 2 small water bottles, however, is INSANITY. I cannot support a place that takes advantage of people like this. We bought a large water bottle at the Migros a minute walk from the restaurant for 1.25 franks. I don't care that every other restaurant does it too, shame on you for taking advantage of people like this. Still in disbelief.

Had TumYum soup here! It's almost cold and not even 10% of TumYum taste.

Tom Ka Gai, wasn't Tom ka gai, very expensive, not edible, 1 mushroom in it and 4 bland tofu chunks. Unfortunately the employees were also unfriendly. It used to be much better. And on request the chicken meat comes from Thailand, which is actually unbelievable given the prices that they offer the cheapest chicken meat. Unfortunately, you can only run a business of this quality at an airport

Worst Thai food experience ever! Noodles were overcooked, it was so oily and on top of everything it didn’t have any taste at all!!!

Chicken Pattaya was a complete disgrace, it has nothing to do with Thai cuisine. The sauce was simply enriched with bouillon. The portion for 18.90 is a complete rip off, a cup of rice and a few pieces of chicken with pineapple on the side. Catastrophic is putting it mildly. Advise every person not to eat here.

Worst Pad Thai. No peanuts, no taste. A bland beige lump of food. Best taste was from tiny slice of lime.

The food is not tasty and the tom kha gai soup was only coconut milk. When I said something, I was directed to another waitress and she wanted to convince me that it was the right thing! It used to be where the old Asian restaurant used to be, the food was very tasty and the staff was always nice, friendly and people were happy to come.

The Red Curry Vegi menu and the Red Curry Chicken menu were inedible, a shame for the money!! It was the first and last time we got food there.

Ate two Phad Thai for a whopping 18.50 per portion and were really very disappointed. Why is something called Phad Thai if it comes with no egg, no peanuts, no chili powder, no lime and no flavor? I don't expect Phad Thai like in Thailand but this was subpar and disappointing. We complained, unfortunately without success

The staff was not nice and what I ordered didn’t turn out to what I want. I ordered very spicy Pad kaproaw and it tuned out like no chilli at all. The beef was hard to chew. It’s really bad quality of meat. I have tried many Thai restaurants in Switzerland but this one im so disappointed especially with the Thai staff at the cashier 😕

I often eat at TUK at the airport. The waitresses are always very friendly and the food tastes great! Definitely a recommendation from me and 5 stars!

Really tasty Thai food, bit portions

4 different dishes, all really subterranean in terms of taste and bite. Anyone who knows even a little about Thai cuisine can agree with my opinion.

I've eaten here many times and the food was usually very good. I can especially recommend the pad kra pao, very tasty and crunchy vegetables. Only in the dishes that are already ready in the woks are the vegetables partly overcooked but still tasty.

We generally eat at this place when returning from vacation. It reminds you of Thailand! Of course price of circumstances but good portion. A little too much oil but the dishes are very good. 77chf for everything in the picture

I ordered fried rice with shrimps they served me fried rice with chicken! Why is that? Price matter girl! And the food was salted , obviously it was done rushly ! The food of my husband was okay but sadly mine was not at all good. * Focus *friendly *good service *

I had the "Daily Wok" for lunch for CHF18.90. it comes with white rice and vegitable curry. The tast was below average and the worst part was the amount of OIL used in the curry. The curry had too much oil in it and I bet this was no where close to a healthy level. If you care about your health I would NOT recommend this menu.

Unfortunately you can't give half a star, the food was completely over salted and the meat was made of rubber, never again...

I was very disappointed with the service there! Although I had been standing there for a while because of the Corona Syuation and had been noticed by the lady Kanoknuch, a young man allowed himself to push past me and the person in front of me. In the smallest case there was a safety distance. When I asked why he can just walk past 2 people and order!? She replied very cheekily that I would have to walk in from the side of the KFC. Which of course isn't true. Unfortunately I then went to the KFC next door!

Good quality Thai food, big portions. 😋
