Top of the top, nothing to say, great address, enough to get away from it all for a meal

I have been a customer there since I was 2 years old and I have always been well received (I am 健ちゃん if anyone remembers me) but today I came around 6 p.m. to buy sweets and kimchi with my friends and I I don't know if it's because I have a gaijin face or it's the fact that I'm young but I was very poorly received, especially by bald staff who personally remind me of the cheap version of the Dalai Lama (I allows me these criticisms because I'm seriously angry with him) who yells at me and my friends without respect because we touch some products that we didn't buy so I understand that it's not good to touch what we don't buy but my friends were curious because it was the first time they came to the store and above all I find it intolerable that we were threatened with being banned from the store because we touched a few bags of nori that we weren't going to buy. I also think that the staff was rude to us because maybe we are teenagers but that doesn't stop them from seeing you, it doesn't stop them from talking to us in a normal tone and not shouting at us. on it like it was our dad. Brief. I am very disappointed with his non-exemplary behavior which has disgusted my friends with this store that I have loved so much since my childhood. Good evening

Lovely little Shop, delicious food

If you’re into Japanese Cuisine, this place has everything you would need. They have pretty much every ingredient that would be required for any recipe. They also have Avery wide selection of each of the products, from basic quality to top of the shelf. They also have a variety of kitchenware at reasonable prices for Geneva.

This is the cutest Japanese store in Geneva and everything is found here! I am always so spoilt for choice. The prices are reasonable too and they have s cute little restaurant adjacent to the main store. It also has an enviable collection of Asian liquor! My favourite place so far ;)

This restaurant is a rare find, offering excellent soft shell crab sushi, a delicacy not often found. They boast a broad and satisfying selection of fresh and flavorful sushi for lunch. Highly recommended for any sushi enthusiast looking for value for money sushi.

I've been going for years and I still think that the quality of the products and food are excellent, as well as the treatment with the staff. Every time I return to Geneva I try to stop by there👌

They charge CHF16 for rice, 4 pieces of side dish eg radish and half a salmon. Without miso soup... Once upon a time the menu of the day was below CHF14 and fuller. And now after having visited Japan and experienced real bentos, I'm afraid I can no longer recommend this place for lunch.

Review for restaurant. 18chf for a bento box special ok.... a blob of rice, miso soup, some old noodles and few pieces of tofu. Very strange ordering system. All meals served in plastic throw away containers this is reason enough to never come. Super expensive as the blob of rice and miso cost about 2.50chf including the wasteful packaging. When we asked for soya the first person said no it's not possible. The another person said you can pay for it? So yes we paid extra to add 1ml throw away bottle of soy sauce at a Japanese sit down restaurant. I shouldn't be shocked anymore in Genève but I am.... any sushi in Genève is better than this. So sad because we thought as a grocery they must know what they're doing but nope.

This only about the shop- I have not tried the restaurant. Small (but packed) shop with mostly Japanese goods. Prices are on the higher end. Mostly packaged goods, but some refrigerated. A selection of alcohol, also some home goods.

There is good and bad. The good thing is that we can access products directly imported from Japan, certainly at a high price but that’s already it. So of course we can always turn to online stores which generally sell the same products cheaper. But online you cannot benefit from customer service. But here's the problem, the customer service depending on who you meet can go from a rating of 4 out of 5 to -10 out of 5. Having been to Japan often, I can assure you that in terms of respect, customer service they are at the TOP. But this famous Japanese (or Chinese) lady gives you the unpleasant impression that you are a plague victim who is not welcome and that you are bothering her. The worst cashier in all stores and countries combined. So what does the boss do to restore order? Maybe she's the boss's wife? Because many of us will soon take the plunge and place our orders online. :’( And last problem: alcohol in the ingredients of your sushi/California roll??? Serious?…

Best shop I've found so far in Switzerland for japanese grocery products and kitchen accessories (compared to Basel, Bern and Zürich). They also offer freshly made sushi, bento boxes, karaage, yakitori and more for moderate prices. Highly recommended, if you're into japanese culture.

This store takes me straight to Japan! Lots of food products for the kitchen, such as utensils or dishes, snacks, sweets, drinks etc. there is a lot of choice. Don't hesitate to ask for advice, the staff is very friendly. Don't think about leaving with 1 or 2 items, we always want to buy lots of things there! You can also buy the takeaway sushi that the restaurant makes there. There are also some small hot snacks including the stuffed steamed brioches which remind you of a little detour to a Konbini! ;)

Well, already a Swiss woman was very friendly and spoke Japanese as a cashier, on the other hand I came back the same day from Switzerland to buy to make a bentot and then... the other person who cashed me was a person of Japanese nationality and who is really rude, this woman is disrespectful.

My favorite Japanese grocery store. I go there regularly to stock up on Japanese products. The staff is very friendly, the store is always clean and the prices are fair (expensive but that's somewhat normal, it comes from Japan lol).The catering service is top notch, the sushi is extra fresh and delicious (I recommend pre-ordering the day before to have sushi prepared at the desired time).

One of my favourite stores in Geneva. They sell most everything you could want in regard to Japanese products. It's somewhat pricey but that's to be expected given many of the products are specialist and being brought over from Japan and to be honest even then it's not bad consider it's in Switzerland. They have a small food seating area where you can purchase sushi from the shop and sit down. The cashier counter also has some hot foods available, it's a small selection but nice if you fancy a bite to eat whilst doing your shopping. They also sell non-food items such as kitchenware etc and alcohol. Great store!

All-Japan Super Market, Pork Bone Soup, Lamian, Oishi Powder, Teriyaki Soup, Heavenly Lunch Powder, Tenjiang Bao Fee, Charcoal, Favorite Pancake, Convenience Box, Sake, Pork and Matcha Complete collection. If you are in the middle of nowhere, you won't be able to count the money. Japanese supermarkets carry pork bone soup, ramen, dashi powder, teriyaki sauce, tempura powder, tempura pickled sauce, grilled pork, okonomiyaki sauce, bento boxes, sake, kalpi, and matchawan. Prices are not too high for Switzerland and it is not far from the city center.

The supermarket is inflexible and rigid, compared to other restaurants and cafes I have dined-in in Geneva. As a foreign traveller, my UK vaccination certificate is not integrated into the Swiss system. While other restaurants/cafes in Geneva happily scanned my UK vaccination pass (the Swiss system still shows my name etc), double-checked all the personal and vaccination information and compared it against my photo ID, this supermarket simply refused to allow me to dine-in despite my pass and explanation. Basically, a No without considering some visitors are international travellers who might only stay in Geneva for few days. In the past, I visited the shop whenever I worked in Geneva. I will now think twice, especially considering that all other shops in Geneva have no problem with international vaccination passes after doing extra document check-up (which takes less than 1 minute).

I was recommended this place by a friend and I really love it. The sushi is absolutely delicious and it is always an experience to visit this place. The price is also great! I also really enjoyed their delicious homemade mochi and frozen dumplings. And people are always so friendly here and happy to answer any questions you might have.

I can't believe this store, I took a bottle of water that has 50% OFF, then cashier didn't apply the discount, instead kindly ask me if I mind to take another bottle, she said TAKE ONE MORE. I was so confused, then she said "Like this is fine". Mais, that's compulsory consumption. Then I was like it's fine, just a bottle of water. After I got into the car, I found out the two bottle of water are EXPIRED. So I spent 3.2 CHF bought two instead of one expired bottle of water reluctantly. They really know how to do business😑🙄
