We visited in the evening, atmosphere great and food and service were excellent. Good value great quality Swiss food.

Fine food and good service in the company of 30 people or as a couple.

New tenants are doing great, the food is super tasty and always super friendly. Five of us were in the Stübli on January 21st, 2024, had Spätzle plates, Steinpliz ravioli, pork schnitzel with tomatoes, salad and gesture soup, coffee and vermicelli 😋😋all highly recommended. In the summer there is a beautiful garden restaurant with a children's playground. Dogs are always welcome and are always given a bowl of water ❤️❤️❤️

We went for lunch on 10/19/23. Very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, the service was very attentive and courteous. The game dishes we ordered (Spätzli plate and wild pepper) were excellently prepared and tasty. We will come back.

Food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. The food is seasonal and almost all uses local products. I can only recommend.

We come from Germany and are often in Mitlödi. Now we have also found something nice to eat with our Matze and Ben. The ambience is absolutely harmonious, the food is delicious and fresh and very regional. The whole team is super friendly. Really nicely decorated, new tables, nice service. BUT: it takes far too long for the lunch service. We waited 45 minutes for the food. We were recommended two daily recommendations... unfortunately without any price information. And unfortunately we didn't ask. Then the rude awakening when paying. Zürigschnetzlets in a Uschenriet for Fr. 42.00!! The food was good and delicious, but the price in a forestry restaurant was simply far too high.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed this time, but there is the option of self-service in the hut by the playground. I had a rest there three years ago and the service was very friendly. At that time, however, I only ordered drinks and no food.

Really pretty garden restaurant, fine homemade Beeri Wähe beautifully decorated. Friendly and attentive service. Very beautifully located in nature, with a mega beautiful mountain view. We recommend! (8-tung but now 3 weeks closed due to summer holidays.)

The beautifully situated Uschenriet forestry is located south of Ennenda. The cozy dining room and the great garden restaurant with a huge children's playground invite you to linger. Fresh, simple cuisine with regional specialties and a lot of homemade food is served. It's really always worth a visit!

Nice restaurant in a wonderful location with a view of the mountains. Our children really liked the large playground outside and the beautiful playroom inside. The food was fresh with homemade mashed potatoes, delicious pork sausage and a cordon bleu which was also perfect. The dessert made the beautiful evening perfect.

Idyllically located forestry with fresh, home-style food. Large children's playground. Please note: there is a ban on driving to forestry areas from April 1st to October 30th. However, the local will be happy to organize a driving permit. Opening times only from Wednesday to Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Wir durften Teil sein des "Steinbock Essens" vom 23.11.2019. Wie immer (wir sind oft beim Spazieren dort Gäste), wurden wir von Petra sehr freundlich empfangen. Der gesamte Abend war top organisiert, das Essen (Wild) hervorragend, die Präsentation zum Essen äusserst spannend. Rundum: Wir freuen uns, auch nächstes Jahr wieder Gäste an einem speziellen Anlass sein zu dürfen. Weiter so, alles Gute dem Team.

Die Abendwanderung mit Nachtessen im Uschenriet war geplant. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und bedient. Der Wurst-Käse-Salat garniert und das Cordon Bleu waren ausgezeichnet und man merkte, dass alles frisch zubereitet war. Die Wartezeit war kurz und so konnten wir bei frühlingshaftem Tageslicht unsere Wanderung fortsetzen.

Regionales, herziges Restaurant mit wunderbarem chinesischem Buffet ausschliesslich am Freitagabend. Alles frisch zubereitet mit sehr schöner Auswahl, familiäre und herzliche Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bei einer Wanderung sind wir an diesem hübschen Waldbeizli vorbeigekommen und haben auf dem schönen Aussenplatz Grillladen und die besten Pommes Frites seit vielen Jahren genossen. Wir haben beschlossen das Restaurant wieder zu besuchen, sobald es die auf den Flyern gedruckte Ankündigung des Chinesischen Buffets gibt. Der Ausflug (mit dem Auto erreichbar) hat sich auch diesmal wieder gelohnt. Ein abwechslungsreiches, reichhaltiges und ausgezeichnetes chinesisches Buffet haben wir zu einem moderaten Preis geniessen dürfen. Die chinesische Ehefrau des Wirtes hat auch auf Sonderwünsche wegen Speisenunverträglichkeiten mit sehr guten Extras reagiert.

Lebe seit vielen Jahren in Bangkok und führe auch ein Restaurant. Meine Gäste haben mir von diesem schönen Ort erzählt. Somit besuchte ich dieses Restaurant im September als ich in der Schweiz wahr. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, gute Weine auf der Weinkarte, super aussicht sehr gute Desserts Kuchen Torten etc. Und einen sehr freundlichen aufgestellten Wirt. Werde es sicher bei meiner nächsten Reise wieder besuchen.
