VIBES Rooftop & Lounge in Basel

A wonderful place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a hookah. Had a great time here. The hookahs are delicious, and the hookah pipes themselves are of a high quality. Highly recommend. The only negative is that parking is difficult, but worth it if you have to walk.

Woooooow, The best shish bar I've ever been to. Everything was great. The best welcome, the best staff with a very friendly attitude. A very pleasant and attractive environment.

We were told there would be space available for 5 minutes, we waited for 30 minutes, the service was arrogant and the service was faulty. DISRESPECTFUL

We loved this rooftop shisha bar. It is simply incredible, the decoration is amazing (even the toilets are super beautiful) the prices are reasonable and there is a large selection of shisha. The staff is very nice and very helpful it is very busy on Saturday you may have to wait a bit.

I was at Vibs on Saturday..we had such a lovely girls' evening..I would like to thank the Vibs team once again...the reception at the elevator, the service..and the cocktails..simply amazing...still had it never a fine mojito...very friendly and competent service...she listened to our every wish...very nicely decorated. such clean ladies toilets..we had a lounge for ourselves..with a stove warmer.we will definitely come back….

Nobody greeted you when you came in. Just a nice employee, had to pay a lot after ordering while smoking a cigarette and the shisha didn't brew properly for a long time. otherwise it was ok.

The location is very nice with the white armchairs looks very nice and the shishas are also very good and last longer than other shisha bars (I've been to many in Basel haha) simply recommended!! keep it up.

It's a shame to see such a beautiful store with so much potential being run so poorly. You enter an empty floor when you take the elevator up, no one to greet anyone, you have to find your way up to the roof yourself where the service is completely overwhelmed. The toilet is extremely dirty and the location is not treated lovingly. A real shame .

I became aware of the bar's reopening through Instagram. When we wanted to try this out with other friends, we took the elevator up at around 11 p.m. and were informed that the rooftop area was full at the moment and that we had to wait about 30 minutes in the hallway (non-smoking area) because it was currently be full. We regularly saw guests leaving the rooftop, but we were not told that there was space upstairs. When it started to get too much for me, I went up the stairs myself and saw several free tables. When I asked the waitress if we could sit here, the request was accepted and we were finally allowed to sit down. Next, we had to wait about 15 minutes to be served because the staff was very busy. After we placed our order, it was about 15 minutes later and we still hadn't received anything from our order. When we informed the one employee who was responsible for the shishas about this, the staff reacted with confusion and we received our drinks and shishas. Our 1 experience was not positive as we were finally able to have a drink and smoke our hookahs after waiting for 2 hours. I would actually give it 1 star, but since the shisha staff is very friendly and it's laid out in a relaxed manner, I give it a 2nd star. In general it's a good bar, but the staff has little experience and internal communication is not good.
