Very good food and very friendly service. The deductions are only for lack of information. Reserved a table, received confirmation, drove to Zurich and the restaurant was closed. Reservations were possible but the lights were out and there was only a ladder in the restaurant. An information on the window that it is temporarily closed. A pity

We went a long time ago and it was very good. Now it gives the possibility to reserve and it appears open, but the restaurant is closed and inaccessible.

It's temporary / permanently closed but you can still book and there is no notice on Google, so we went after getting booking confirmation and stood there in the rain in front of a piece of paper on the door..

We spontaneously went here for dinner yesterday and everything was wonderful. The ambience is very authentic, the food is excellent and the service is extremely friendly (they have now also introduced card payment, not like some of the reviews previously wrote that there was only cash payment). The ingredients were all extremely fresh (we had the red curry once with chicken and once with soy & tempeh) and the spices were perfectly balanced: it wasn't too spicy, but still pleasantly spicy and a real highlight in terms of taste. The cocktails have a Vietnamese touch, which makes the visit even more authentic and rounds off the visit perfectly. I didn't finish my portion and asked if I could take the rest with me: I was even offered to add another portion of rice (at no extra charge, mind you!!), which I found to be extremely accommodating and customer-friendly. This is really not a given! We will definitely come back & become regular guests! An important plus point for me personally: They are very dog-friendly here!

The first time in here was accidental as I was looking for somewhere for a quick coffee. When I went in, the decor was really cozy and the aroma was so lovely. And since I like Vietnamese food, booked a table right away for the following day lunch. The next day, I came with my husband and son. Service was quick and very friendly. When the food arrived, all the ingredients such noodles, vegetables and meat were all very fresh. When we got the check, the price was quite low, especially in Zurich. We all enjoyed it immensely! Definitely coming back. Only downside; parking in the vicinity is not so easy.

Great new discovery at Klusplatz. Everything with attention to detail: teas, sodas, menu, the food itself. Great atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious; the broth for the pho was obviously cooked by hand in the open kitchen. We will be back!

Insider's tip: excellent traditional Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho). In easy reach from HB or Stadelhofen by Tram (3/8). Friendly service. Don't forget to try the traditional Vietnamese Mokka. We regularly come here for lunch.

Yesterday we went to Vietal Kitchen with my girlfriend to work on our ideas, brainstorm and exchange ideas. The restaurant was the perfect choice! The atmosphere is so cozy, pleasant, exudes calm, is tastefully and beautifully decorated, really great! And it's so clean, you can eat off the floor and lick the door, it's that clean. We were served super friendly! I had two of these delicious non-alcoholic drinks! Unfortunately I can't remember the name, something with beauty in the name and had aloe vera juice in it. Simply divine! My girlfriend had a delicious veggy dinner that looked and tasted really great! All in all, an incredibly successful experience and an insider tip away from the center of Zurich. Definitely come back! Thank you very much for the great experience and hospitality! So go there, otherwise you'll miss something!

Very lovely place with lovely people. The food and drink are very good. I love the Indochine atmosphere, some nature and peace in the middle of the concrete winter.

Vietal kitchen is our go to Asian resteraunt spot here in Zurich. We do take out and dine in on a regular basis and have had a great experience each time. Staff is super helpful and incredibly nice and you can tell they really care about the food they are serving.

The dishes were delicious, ingredients were fresh and the plates were copious and well presented. Food came fast. My husband’s duck was cooked to perfection (crispy on the outside but tender inside) and there were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options too. The service was very attentive and professional. The cocktails were very tasty and creative. The price range was reasonable for Zürich.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The host is incredibly friendly. We had ordered Buddha bowl , young monk and coffee, and everything was just amazing, especially Buddha Bowl. The ambience is also awesome. Must visit place.

Somewhat remote from the center, Vietal impresses with a beautiful interior, a quiet atmosphere and fresh, healthy food.

Very good, very fine, but expensive. The menu is original, it was always good every time (ok, only 2 times), with culinary details that make the difference. It's expensive but worth it. The interior design is enough to make the restaurant comfortable. The restaurants never stayed long in Klusplatz, I hope this one stays!

Good lunch options (lunch menu) and it's easy to find space. The dishes are fresh, maybe a little from the fusion corner and plenty of size. The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside, but due to the conditions, the view of the Klusplatz is not worth mentioning.

The food is very good as is the price/performance ratio. Unfortunately, the location is a bit away from the center and there appears to be only one parking space in the parking garage for visitors to the restaurant. The parking garage is closed on Sunday. It's not always easy to find a parking space around here.

You eat really well here! We had the duck in pajamas and the spring rolls as a starter and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I had another Pho soup (Best Pho You) and I have to say again, it was really good. There was also a great atmosphere and we were served very well. We are already looking forward to the next time!

An incredible experience, the dishes are an explosion of flavor. If I had to make a serious complaint about the starter dishes, they are small and small in quantity, but the large dishes are super good. I had never eaten anything like it in Switzerland. I recommend it 100%.

Charming Vietnamese restaurant with healthy options. The spring rolls were a bit too salty though. Loved the Gambas with brown rice noodles bowl, the seasoning was just right. Friendly service.

I think the restaurant has potential, but they somehow can't handle reservations. We made a reservation by phone two days in advance and when we arrived there was no place for us except at the counter (which was out of the question for me). When I asked for an explanation, I was only answered with "Sorry". Mistakes can happen, but without a meaningful explanation I just find it unprofessional!

My brother and I came to Zurich from Germany and inquired about and found good restaurants. This restaurant was a 10/10 for us. The food was incredibly tasty and very, very light so you weren't stuffed. Personally, it was my first time eating Vietnamese and it definitely won't be the last time. We ate once warm, then again starters + 4x desserts and we still didn't have enough! Everything was so good to eat. The staff was super friendly and blew us away with their recommendations. The kitchen was also open to view so you could see how professionally the team worked.

Food 4/5, some meat-heavy cuisine. I would have expected more vegetarian options. Service a bit chaotic and uncoordinated, you have to ask for a lot of things (extra plates to share, spoons...), but actually tried hard and charming. Restaurant deserves a chance.

Have reserved. But it was a closed society. We were promised champagne as consolation (outside the restaurant). But it wasn't served. Society seemed more important. Well, wrong priorities set and bad error culture.

Very nice service and delicious food. The menu should be updated; the allergy numbers are not correct (the springrolls and seitan for example contain gluten, but there was no 1).

The food is good, the service lousy. We sat for half a city in front of empty plates. The waitress couldn't remember our order even though we were the only guests. She usually stood at the buffet with her back to the guests and moved empty tablets back and forth. Unfortunately no second visit planned!

We had dinner at Vietal Zurich yesterday and it was simply great. The menus are creatively prepared and taste unique. We often go out to eat in Zurich and have never experienced anything like this. In addition, the ambience is well done and fits the Vietnamese cuisine. The only point that could possibly be improved would be paying by card - unfortunately this was not possible. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant smelled strongly of 1* cigars. The restaurant is decorated with plastic plants, but nice. You can see that the restaurant was decorated by a professional 5*. An order: -Guest: 2 fresh coconuts please. -Service: we don't have, you can see that's 'seasonal' -Guest: if you don't have you should say that you don't have. You shouldn't lie. Fresh coconut one can get all year round. Service: To be honest, we have never had it. Guest: Then 2 fresh juices please. Service: we don’t have it either! 1* The food is more of a fusion fantasy than Asian or Vietnamese and rather good. But the Hoi Sin sauce could be of better quality if they already serve all the starters with this sauce. 4* Unfortunately, you are not very careful about what you use to prepare the food. They describe that they roll the spring rolls with rice dough. But the rolls came with wheat dough. My partner (celiac) didn't believe me that the dough was made from wheat flour, after that he had a headache and diarrhea!!!. 1* The menu is only in German. But the serving daughter only speaks English. So she couldn't advise the customers 1*. Luckily we are multilingual and were able to help ourselves. There is also no declaration of origin for the products. The service is a disaster that has never been seen or experienced before. We were a group. The order was not taken at the same time and as a result we almost each ate separately. The wrong food was brought several times. 1*. When we collected it, we saw that not everything had been typed and we were charged a uniform price of 10.00 for the starter. The tip was not typed separately either. So the waitress keeps the tip for herself instead of sharing it with others? 1* To the owner: We would prefer to be served by competent staff rather than 'nice' staff. After all, we're going to a restaurant and not an entertainment bar.

We were a group of 10 people, after the starters we waited over an hour for the main course, it seemed like they just brought what was cooked, not what was ordered. The service was a bit confused. After 6 beers there was no more of the brand, the 7th came still cold, the next lukewarm, these open beers were then cooled down and served again 🙈🙈. The food was good, my pieces of beef were tough! So there's still room for improvement here and I hope I don't get the standard answer that he writes to everyone, but that says a lot!
