Vieux Port in Versoix

The food is good. The problem is that we wanted to return to 12 people, the restaurant asks us to choose our SINGLE MENU in advance, like in a fair, friendly or lottery. Not great. We declined of course, and went to eat elsewhere. Damage.

Food was excellent in terms of being well prepared and presented. However, portions were small (note: at 50 kg, I'm not a big eater at all) and prices were higher than other restaurants in same area and of the same quality.

Welcome, meal and served this excellent!! We came back after years and the perch fillets are still excellent.

Frankly very disappointed by the perch fillets, the fries were too brown and had a burnt taste. Not a bad rating from what I've read. Reality totally disappointed. I don't advise.

Very nice discovery last night. The name can be confusing, the restaurant is not on the lake. But the charming, quiet terrace at the back, full of flowers, is really very pleasant and quickly made us forget the surprise of not seeing the lake. Perfect service, excellent food. Special mention for the turbot. I will return there with great pleasure.

A friend and I were on the Way of St. James and passed this restaurant where we wanted to fortify ourselves for lunch. We were greeted extremely unfriendly and looked at disparagingly because we were wearing hiking clothes and a backpack. The gentleman who served probably wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible because he was reluctant to offer us a table. When my friend then asked if she could even have a drink (I was about to eat something) he told her that he wasn't a bar but a restaurant and ran away. An absolute disgrace. We left the restaurant as quickly as possible without consuming anything.

Superb restaurant, a haven of peace, with a superb view of the lake and the mountains. The food is delicious and refined. The dishes are prepared with care, and the service is very pleasant and friendly. The wine list is very sophisticated and offers a wide choice. I highly recommend this place whether for business meals, with friends or family. I will return there very soon and invite you to do the same.

My Swiss friend and her husband took us here for lunch, to have their specialty, Filet des Perches. Absolutely delicious! Served with perfect frites and delicious simple salad. The dessert was a sampling of chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and a fruit mousse.the tastes were unique and simply wonderful. The restaurant is charming and service was superb. It was like a vacation in itself.

Delicious discovery!!! I reserved a table at the old port for my birthday. We were made very welcome, the service was warm and attentive. I would even say very careful! We started with a pan-fried foie gras and a quenelle of Pike du lac. Delicious! Then we took the unmissable perch meunière fillets from the lake. A treat, the homemade fries are also worth the detour! To finish, two scoops of artisanal salted butter caramel and Valais apricot ice cream as well as a chocolate fondant and raspberry sorbet, it was cooked perfectly, a beautiful treat. All for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this restaurant. It was flawless. Well done to the chef and thank you to the service. We will come back!

Excellent deer saddle, pleasant and efficient service. The desserts are excellent too! Profiteroles to die for. A little effort on ventilation and general aeration would be a real plus. I happily recommend this establishment and will return very soon.

Excellent dinner on the pleasant terrace. Very good cuisine with ultra-fresh lake fish, delicious desserts, warm welcome and very friendly and efficient staff. A little expensive but we are in Switzerland.

They serve fresh fish (fished from that morning), and how they cook has made it the best fish I've tried from Versoix. The staff is very friendly and gives you excellent recommendations. The restaurant is cozy and has a lovely terrace surrounded by flowers. This has become my favorite restaurant in the area so far.

We celebrated our aunt's birthday in this restaurant, we can say it is historic in Versoix. Found some memories of the past. We found a warm welcome, fast and stress-free service, the kitchen concocted very good lake perch fillets, a fantastic féra, a downside however on the old port sauce which has made the reputation of this restaurant, that - this according to my friends at the table and who knew this place many years ago has little to do with today. A chocolate vanilla mascarpone dessert made by the chef who lacked a little vanilla. We had a wonderful evening and I thank the entire Vieux Port team.

A little nugget, we reserved in this restaurant and our expectations were met. Just had a spontaneous dinner here and met Cedric and his team. Very friendly and attentive amd the food was excellent. I had the Sea Bream. Thoroughly recommend this little gem!

Very bad experience! A disaster ! We waited more than 2 hours for our dishes, despite our patience and our understanding... the boss did not deign to apologize, treated us as impatient. Terrible service, very average food. Really a shame given the location, a rethinking is necessary. Well, that’s the best we can wish for you!

Première sortie au restaurant après ce confinement : nous avons fait le choix du Vieux-Port à Versoix. C'est le patron qui nous sert, avec professionnalisme et amabilité. De l'entrée au dessert, tout est raffiné, les épices sont judicieusement dosées pour relever les plats et leur présentation est harmonieuse. Un plus: des bonnes bouteilles en format 5 dl. Vraiment une très bonne adresse et on se réjouit d'y retourner en profitant de leur jolie terrasse à l'arrière.

Ce restaurant est un endroit typique de Versoix 3 générations l'on tenues avant de le remettre, cadre sympathique et le personnel aussi , réserver avant.

Le restaurant est dépaysant bien qu'un peu étroit. le service plaisant, les plats étaient bons mais un peu chers.

Entrecôte beurre maison très bonne, jolie présentation. Dommage que ce soit la seule option à un prix raisonnable et qu'il n'y aie pas de plat du jour abordable, pour ceux qui souhaitent venir plus régulièrement. Si la terrasse avait été ouverte, ça aurait été encore mieux.
