Viva Voce in Crans-Montana

Always a pleasure to come and share a good Italian dish in this beautiful restaurant. For me, the cuisine is very good, because I am a big fan of everything that comes from Italy. I enjoy all their pasta dishes which I enjoy every time with great pleasure. The setting remains really nice, a little retro, but really nice. I can only recommend the place to you, because I think you will appreciate it at its true value.

We recently returned to viva voce as a group after a great first experience a few months ago. Unfortunately we were terribly disappointed. Ridiculously small portions compared to the prices. I personally got the cheapest pasta on the menu. Spaghetti with tomato, garlic and fresh basil. The tomato sauce was very bland, the pasta was undercooked and no trace of garlic, no taste of basil despite the presence of leaves. Totally ordinary pasta and for 29 francs a portion that looks like a starter. The other members of my group were also disappointed. Gnocchi vongole with more shells than gnocchi and nothing is offered to remove them from the plate. A Milanese that has been modified on the menu. Indeed, it was once a truffle milanese. The “truffle” was roughly drawn. But the price has not changed. I find it scandalous to remove a luxury ingredient from a dish and not even change the price. The cuisine is absolutely not up to the prices. On the other hand, the service was very good. Friendly and competent waiters and ok atmosphere. I hope the establishment will redress the situation.

I opted for the more expensive pasta and unfortunately it was of poor quality. I do not recommend this establishment. I have rarely been so disappointed with an Italian restaurant.

The mafalde al tartufo nero (truffle mafalde) was delicious. Staff are attentive and the atmosphere is buzzy, we even had a live singer during our visit.

During my lunch on 3rd february 2024 with my parents while we dine a customer at a further table came to scream at my father and point in his face to tell him “ vous été pas seul ici”. I made a complaint to the servers at the restaurant and the servers did not protect us as diners and demand an apology from the other table. Overall the atmosphere was then ruined for dining and we no longer wanted to stay. The servers said “I’m sorry” and continued to ask “but is the food and everything okay?” We left the restaurant very unsatisfied.

I had the most expensive pasta, disgusting. I'm never coming back here. too bad

So as usual I will first talk about the welcome, quite friendly, Italian restaurant with a little oil to taste while waiting to order. Lots of people in the restaurant and yet the servers are dynamic so it's appreciable. I ordered the egg with truffle and unfortunately it was a failure the first time (still the cooking juices...), it leaves and comes back... overcooked... missed a second time... The dish was a Milanese because that is often the ultimate test in an Italian restaurant. Nice portion, slightly overcooked with shavings of truffle on top totally unnecessary but allows you to charge almost 60-. Chf the dish. Atmosphere and friendly service, the menu I remain doubtful.

Good welcome, efficient and attentive service. Cuisine not up to what they claim to offer, heartless. I found 5 vongoles in my gnocchi dish bathed in spinach water. Too expensive for the quality. The singer could have sung Italian songs, which is what you expect in an Italian restaurant.

Great, very trendy Italian restaurant, the pizzas are excellent as well as the tiramisu! On the other hand, a smile on arrival and a goodbye-thank you would not be too much! Efficient service.

This is unacceptable, we ordered a 1.5 kg steak and the chef brought us 750g of bones and on top of that the meat was very horrible.

An Italian we like. Simple, effective and delicious.

The cuisine is very good and deserves 5 stars... however I find that there is a lack of starters that are a little less expensive, currently for less than 20.- these are salads, the other starters are more than 30.- this which is a lot. The problem is that the service is not at the same level, the manager only seems pleasant and smiling if he knows the people, the arrangement of the tables means that, in pairs, you will always be more or less seated in a corridor. The website does not allow you to book online and offers an email to which I never received a response and no reservation was noted... in short, there are still a lot of things to improve.

A restaurant that I particularly like that I have recommended to many of my friends... Unfortunately not regular...avoid anything based on truffle oil, this is the second time in two years that I have been told that there is truffle oil and nothing! absolutely nothing! And yet it's not a smell that goes unnoticed...I'm very, very disappointed...I was happy to taste a Miss Italia pizza...they brought me slices of fresh truffle but I didn't have any don't want...I'm not here to get more than my order but I demand to have what I ordered no less! So yes, very very disappointed 😞!

Nice looking place, good atmosphere. Friendly staff and delicious food. Me and my husband shared a pizza and a pasta and they both were the best we ever had.

A very nice modern pizzeria Pizza very fine but unfortunately not a large selection of pasta (pasta dishes) it's a shame... Price range rather higher than in other pizzerias... Staff very friendly 🤗

Excellent meal, the kitchen delivers! very successful setting, friendly but totally ineffective service with a manager who doesn't give the impression of being in charge - all without ever letting go of a smile or a "is everything okay? ". Too bad but recommendable all the same.

As an Italian, I can say that I have rarely eaten so well in an Italian restaurant. The menu is very interesting, the pizza dough incredible and the pasta very tasty. We feel the chef's passion in our plates. We'll come back tomorrow.

Amazing Italian restaurant, with a very modern interior and delicious food. Moreover, the way they serve the food is very creative! We were also lucky as there were some dancers in the restaurant presenting a great spectacle. Really a great experience having dinner there!

Been there yesterday, the pizza was great, the rest very average... Prawns not cleaned, full of poop inside, the seafood presented on a bed of mayonaise,the pasta obercooked with a very distinctive taste of a bouillon cu be, mushrooms on top, cold, looking sad. Nicely decorated place, witH has no soul, lifeless waiters, the place is depressing... A PLACE TO AVOID, EXCEPT FOR PIZZA TAKE OUT

Good restaurant but with a few hiccups. We had asked for an aperitif before ordering the dishes but everything arrived at the same time. Too bad because we had to hurry to drink our cocktails to eat our dishes. Thinking to the waitress, she simply rolled her eyes. The pasta dish was good but arrived lukewarm. The tiramisu was very good. Fortunately we checked the bill because there were some mistakes with price differences. A bottle of wine for 85.- instead of the one we ordered for 56.-, extra bottles of water. Overall a good restaurant but could do much better.

Italian restaurant located between Crans and Montana and very pleasant to eat. Indeed, the decoration is great and the cleanliness is there. A large outdoor car park can accommodate many cars and access to the restaurant is practical when it is very cold. The welcome is very cordial and the service very professional. The menu, varied and very tempting, invites us to a succulent tasting. The daily special needs to be improved and taken care of.

Food was very good. Baby seat was great. More of a restaurant for a date and not for a family with children. Ambience was nice. Service was good.

just took a main course. was tasty but the entrecôte was provided without sauce. only ketchup and mustard were proposed :( service was courteous, atmosphere was relaxed. lots of windows on the outside. no view though.

I recommend the crans montana top

4 of us ate, two adults and two children. Quite disappointing Italian restaurant, hot appetizers soaked in tomato sauce, Milanese cutlet (house specialty at 55 CHF) dry and tough with a nice greasy side dish... all without flavour, the only salty thing is the bill. The children had pizza which perhaps would have been the best choice for adults too. The quality of the products is excellent but you should know how to make the most of them by at least checking the seasonings and flavors of the food served. The service is professional and the place welcoming.

Very friendly welcome (rare in Crans-Montana), very professional and efficient service, modern and not noisy place, large choice of dishes and desserts, very reasonable prices. The seasonal risotto with boletus and chanterelles was very good, portion may be a little small for a good eater.

I just asked for a simple out of the menu Risotto Parmesano and they just served me THE most amazing risotto I had in my life. I'm just so greatfull for this culinary experience! All the team is super wellcoming, and the place is really confortable ! 'll be back very soon! Thanks everyone!

Very noisy restaurant with average entertainment! Very elegant menu and plates - unlike the clientele and the atmosphere. Cramped tables, friendly but absent staff because they are understaffed. It gives the impression of a canteen, which is ultimately too expensive. What a shame because the dishes are delicious. All the ingredients could come together for a magnificent restaurant! The owners (formerly of Desalpe) are great professionals with taste, we hope that things will change…

Guys, if you come to Crans Montana you absolutely must go to the Vivavoce restaurant with my friend Giuseppe, the food is amazing, excellent service and open kitchen, really kind and professional staff. Try the ribeye, the homemade pasta and the wood-fired pizza, all truly delicious. I'm from home but I assure you that you will not be disappointed. Bon appetit😉👍

2 negative experiences, the first time I order a pizza and I end up with another pizza, the second time I go out to smoke and they remove the plate from me without apologizing or offering a discount. No professionalism

The dishes are scratched, the food is simply bland and looks more like your grandmother’s cooking than a restaurant.

The meals are good but we paid 39.- for a dish of tuna tartar!!! Delicious tuna served with safarn chips, nothing extra! On the map no note that it is an entrance!! The waitress informed us that the dish would be small, but that she wanted to ask for a larger one! We received for 7.- in addition max 100g of maximunm tuna.. on our direct remark on site oas of reaction...damage

Very nice restaurant with Italian staff and a real identity. We had a parmigiana starter to share which was very good but for the main course we asked for a seafood pasta dish (off the menu) which we were charged 42 CHF per person even though it was clearly not really generous… I was shocked to see the price compared to what was in the dish….

The food was okay One of the waitresses was kinda rude

for lunch. My dad and myself came here for Sunday lunch. The building from the outside does not look much so we did not have high expectations. After walking in we were very pleasantly surprised as the decor is of a very high standard with Villeroy and Boch china plates and very comfortable chairs. The bread basket was great. For main my father had spaghetti vongole with was super al dente and loads of clams and I had steak tagliatta which was excellent. Service was very good, very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit…

Good restaurant, good dishes. We had the tuna tartare, the sea bass carpaccio and the fish soup. All the products are very fresh. A bit noisy restaurant and crowded tables. When customers and servers walked by, they constantly bumped into my chair. Staff organization needs to be reviewed, some are standing around doing nothing while others don't see when they are called, because they are running everywhere.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. One of the rare restaurants to be able to accept a same-day reservation for a dozen people on a Friday evening during holiday periods. Typical Italian dishes, sometimes presented in quite original ways. We had a blast!

The restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The menu is very beautiful and makes you want to taste everything. The server is great, the staff is friendly, smiling... We were a group of 12 people and we will return with pleasure!

Very welcoming, the staff is well organized, we were quickly taken care of and the dishes were served quite quickly. I tried the sea bass carpaccio as an antipasto! I recommend it, very tender and it melts under the tongue, a real taste pleasure 🙈 Then I let myself be tempted by the lamb tagliatelle, a treat. And the delicious dessert too, I'm always afraid of quickly becoming nauseated by chocolate but this one was perfect! I recommend this restaurant!
