I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The reception was always friendly, formalities were simple, rooms were clean and everything in the rooms was functional (unfortunately this is not standard elsewhere). The hotel is still relatively cheap and, in my opinion, in the best location in the city.

Central location. The rooms facing the inner courtyard allow you to sleep completely peacefully, even with the window open. Electric external blinds keep the room nice and dark overnight. It couldn't be more central, the hotel is located opposite the main entrance to the train station. Very friendly welcome and quick registration. There are very spacious rooms with a view of Bahnhofstrasse. Despite the floor-to-ceiling windows, the rooms are quiet. In the morning there is a sumptuous breakfast buffet.

I would love to book more for our guests there, but the service is simply subpar. No booking without problems.

Zimmer war modern und sauber. Lage ist super direkt beim Bahnhof. Frühstück war durchaus ok, hätte mir für ein 4-Sterne Hotel allerdings etwas mehr erwartet.

He was so friendly and in the morning we had a great chat with him, whilst eating breakfast. Competent employees make the difference between a mediocre and a great hotel. We would book at the Walhalla anytime again!

Ausgezeichnetes Zimmer mit grossem Wohn-/Schlafzimmer, Küche und geräumigem Badezimmer und Toilette. Personal freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Bahnhof St. Gallen und wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Gerne wieder.

Verarscher muss man ganz einfach mit den selben Mitteln retour verarschen, was mir auch erfolgreich gelungen ist.
