The food was simply excellent, with very generous portions. The restaurant impressed us so much the first time that we stopped there the next evening and since we were immediately recognized, we were assigned the same table as the evening before. We were served tap water after asking for bottled water and charged for the tap water which we did not drink because we do not like the taste of the tap water. Service is a 1/5 because the waitress asked how was our food and after telling her how I didn’t eat any of the fondue because I didn’t like it she said “probably just your taste buds”. I didn’t read the reviews on Google until after eating there and saw that loads of people complain about the fondue. Had to go to another restaurant after 😭 this definitely was a waste of money. I would trust the poor reviews. If you have time to go to Zermatt, then you’ll find better options.

Servings are decent, couldn’t finish the pizza after I had the starter mozzarella with cherry tomatoes & rucola. Spaghetti Carbonara plus a small salad did the job after a long day on the slopes. After all, there are not too many options in Täsch, and it’s right next to the station, so they don’t have to offer a 5-star experience. With that in mind, you won’t disappointed.
