After a little over 16 years we went back to the Walserstuba restaurant for dinner. We were totally thrilled. Fantastic food, good wine selection, all at real prices and very good and very friendly service!! You can tell the people put their heart and soul into the business. Cozy resti and guesthouse in beautiful Avers. The friendly hosts combine professionalism with rustic hospitality and pamper you with delicacies. We had an excellent meal, but didn't stay overnight, so we can't comment on the rooms. Good location for exploring the picturesque Averstal and the surrounding area.

Well-located inn in the Averser Valley, right near Cröt. Delicious Campsut pizza, good mixed salad and very good soup of the day (Spanish bread soup). Only deduction point because you could only sit outside in the blazing sun (parasols in the basement).

Since the hosts have lived in Latin America for a long time, there are also South American dishes and good drinks such as a pisco sour. The five of us went to the Walserstuba for lunch after the ski tour. Excellent pizzas and an excellent schnitzel (really top)! We will definitely come by again.

I can strongly recommend Walserstube for anyone visiting this remote Swiss valley. Together with climbing friends we spent four nights at this lovely Gasthaus. The food was just fantastic, simple but made with great ingredients. And hot plates, that's the mark of a professional chef! Small but clean and proper rooms. Shared shower, also clean. The Patron, Simon and his wife Stefi are super friendly and social. Will return to this little paradise.

Das Essen war hervorragend und wir freuen uns das leckere Essen nach Corona in der gemütlichen Stube geniessen zu können. Wir wünschen Steffi und Simon trotz Corona einen guten Start in der Walserstuba.

Wir waren 3 Tage zum Skitouren im Averstal und übernachteten in der Walserstuba. Frau Bisang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Essen war lecker und die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sauber. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!
