In a designated wine restaurant, as a consumer you end up having to rely on taxis. If you come with a dog, it is impossible to take a taxi from Opfikon to Zurich, as no one takes dogs and you have to walk...at least to Glattbrugg train station - the hosts are not much help in this regard despite the large bill...I am surprised that they have no connection to a local taxi company. Considering that the restaurant is really further out, hospitality looks different to me. You take care of your guests and don't literally leave them out in the rain.

Third visit this year. Unfortunately this time it was a bit disappointing. Complained - due to the additional waiting time for a new portion, it was eaten as served so that the accompaniment didn't have to wait. When paying the bill, there was a surprise - everything was charged at full price and there was no goodwill (e.g. coffee on the house). After consulting with the responsible landlady/hostess, her comment was: “You complained about it but ate it anyway, so we will charge it in full.” - On my part, I countered by saying that in a restaurant in this price range I would have expected at least coffee on the house ( Mistakes can happen - it's all a question of how you react afterwards) and the invoice was then grudgingly adjusted. The Chef de Service, Juan, displayed an arrogance and lack of hospitality that spoiled the evening for all of us. You felt ignored as a guest and it seemed as if the staff hardly noticed us. Plates were cleared slowly and there was a lack of necessary attention to our needs. The restaurant was only half full on this beautiful Friday evening. This suggests that our experience was no exception. I find it unfortunate that the high price we paid for the evening in no way reflected the value for money. Restaurants in this price range should delight their guests with first-class service to create a pleasant atmosphere and improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, the Wunderbrunnen restaurant was unable to meet these standards and I sincerely hope that this will be improved in the future. Although the food remains good, I can only give a limited recommendation due to the disappointing experience with the service.

Hello everyone, this restaurant is a beautiful hidden gem serves delicious Swiss food, the experience was great from the reception to paying the check, the staff was accommodating and helpful, i sat outdoor with a nice breeze which sweetened the experience. I ordered poached egg with spinach and a hint of truffle, Tartare beef and unconventional strawberry tiramisu, all went well nicely, so this place is a trip worthy if you are around Zürich.
