Very tasty food, harmonious atmosphere. The service is also good, but what bothers me is that you have to give up the table after exactly 1.5 hours and are basically asked to leave.

It’s Friday night, the place is packed. You’re glad you placed a reservation three weeks ago and promised your first born. The place is bustling. The waitress arrives, have you a menu. German-English-German, you settle on a mix of language and are glad you managed to order beer. Phew. Now, eating half a chicken vs many wings, what sauce? The waitress returns with a smile and many wings. It’s a feast and Cole slaw, which is surprisingly good but red. Almost a dozen wings and two beers later happiness sets in, and the realization that you just paid 65,- for wings and 2 beers. It might be time to also give away the second born.

Tom served us🤩🤩🤩 he was a great waiter! He served us quickly and well. He recommended us and we chatted with him for a while. Wonderful food and super generous portions

Delicious all around! I would skip the "dirty" fries next time just because they're not really my thing -- I like them to remain crispy. Everything else was delicious and the staff was super friendly. We had a very early (same-day) reservation, so the restaurant was fairly uncrowded at the time. Our kids loved the chicken and waffles, made Belgian style, so sweeter than the American version (before syrup).

Went this weekend - brilliant service!! Very funny guys - Chicken was delish too which helped :D and the beers.. will be back when I'm in Zurich again for sure!

My friends and I decided to try out this place, despite being initially disappointed by the 1-hour and 30-minute table limit. We were eager to experience what the restaurant had to offer, looking forward to a pleasant evening out. The evening started well with us ordering drinks, starters, and mains. However, our experience took a turn due to the overly attentive service. Throughout the last 45 minutes of our stay, we were interrupted six times by the server, insisting on refilling our glasses, despite our clear disinterest. This constant interruption was not only unnecessary but also detracted from our overall dining experience. It felt as though the establishment was pushing us to spend more, despite our already substantial bill of $110 in just an hour and a half. It's important for a restaurant to recognize when to offer services and when to allow guests to enjoy their meal in peace. Being treated as though we were nothing more than a source of income is unacceptable. In conclusion, while we were initially excited to dine here, the excessive interruptions by the server marred our experience. A balance needs to be struck between attentive service and respecting the dining space of customers, especially when the time at the table is already limited. We hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as we believe everyone deserves a pleasant dining experience without feeling pressured.

Incredibly good chicken wings. The platter is huge and the side dishes are also super tasty. Also delicious house tea and lemonade as well as good drinks. Gladly again

It was very delicious! Unfortunately the service wasn't really good on a Friday, you had to wait longer for your food! What I found very unfortunate is that they ran out of burgers. Otherwise a very sweet atmosphere :)

The place is great, but maybe I had a bad choice. I ordered Garlic Parmesan wings and had not taste at all, the dirty fries were too soggy… the nachos were super good, the guacamole was great! Would give it another chance, cause maybe was not great choice. Besides that the staff is very friendly and kind.

I dont understand how can this place be so busy. The vibe is really great, but the food was a disappointment for us. Chicken was tasteless and waffles were dry and tasted like store bought.

My husbands english family is currently visiting and of course we had to end our day at the best fried chicken place in town. The staff is outstanding. Even though the restaurant is really busy they are still so friendly and take their time with each guest. The food is amazing as well. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants and we can‘t wait to come back.

Amazing experience and service!

This place has a great atmosphere but the food is terrible and extremely over priced. They claimed to have the best chicken when they gave us the menu. We ordered platter that says choose up to 4 flavors “for two people”. When the bill came they charged each of us full price making the check over 130 plus a drink. The wings were not crisp. Almost as if they were under cooked or cooked in old grease. The skin was very rubbery and chewy. The classic had no seasoning. The lemon people were just classic wings and seasoning clumped on top. Maybe this was just a bad night but not happy at all.

Nice place with a very lively atmoshpere. Great for groups and good drink options. Food however is not that great. Burgers are cold. Even the patty is not that warm. The wings could be crunchier in my opinion.

Based on the reviews I was expecting really good fried chicken. Unfortunately what we received was very dry and very tasteless. The best thing about the meal were the fries and that says it all. Very disappointing especially for the comparatively high price.

Very nice sauces and different flavors to choose from. Loved the atmosphere. The portions are too big so you might take home. My only wish is that there would be a smaller portion offer like 6 pieces of chicken for a lower price

We've ordered food several times and the wings are really the best. However, we once received an incorrect order and unfortunately we didn't respond to emails, which is a shame... After this post there was now a response, thank you very much!

Service was quick and attentive and the atmosphere is great. I feel as though 28$ for 9 wings is a little bit to expensive for what you get, but I also may be biased coming from the texas where it would be half the price. Also the ranch is very different from the ranch in the US. Still good but if your trying to get the US tastes hold back.

My husband and I went there yesterday evening with our 2 year old daughter! It was amazing from the service (the ladies were so kind and funny) all the way to the food and drinks everything was just great! When our 2 your old daughter even mentioned how “brutal” the chicken was 😅😂 and yes she said it just like that, we laughed and knew we will for sure come again! Let me not forget the music i think i grooved to the music the moment i walked in till the moment i walked out! Thanks to everyone at yardbird southern fried chicken we will for sure be back!

Luckily we got a place outside, it seems to be getting quite warm inside. The Fried Chicken Skins was a good discovery and great for a small aperitif. I also liked the fried chicken, even though the Atlanta rub was very intense and salty. I would no longer order the dirty fries, but rather crispy fries. The brownie with ice cream for dessert was again great

The best lucky chicken in the town! The chicken is just incredible, with signature wings in a big number of variations (with my favorite being Buffalo). Everything is tasty, e.g. cheesy nachos, dirty fries, regular fries, burrito… And served with the right craft beer (I prefer lager). And the in-house experience is infinitely friendly. For the last 4 years has never disappointed me, on the contrary - made me happy! Thank you Kevin and the amazing team!

Truly the best chicken wings in Zurich honestly. Have a changing menu with burgers and tortillas. Alternatives for vegetarians are available. The homemade iced tea is also delicious. Unfortunately it's now always closed at lunchtime, but it's better to make a reservation in the evening. Are here regularly and happily. I would recommend the friendly and attentive service at any time.

The salad was fresh, the side of fries was fine. However, the dirty fries were very limp and the sauce wasn't tasty. The chickens were fatty and also limp. The interval for replacing the frying oil should be checked again.

The American Dream Wings were very sweet. There wasn't much else to taste. This quickly gets boring. The colleague had Parmesan Garlic. The garlic couldn't be tasted at all. Also quickly boring. The wings themselves were ok, but I didn't notice anything special. French fries and dirty fries ok. No sauce except the sauces at the table, which my colleague didn't like. The portions are too big. Better yet, offer 6 wings for 20 CHF or so as an alternative. Conclusion for us: once and not again so soon.

The expectations were high: the best chicken wings in Zurich. In terms of taste, I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the ones with lemon pepper, while I found the BBQ and hot rather unremarkable. As we all know, you can't argue about taste. About the portion size - I would have expected a little more. On the bright side - I didn't leave with a heavy stomach 😊 Would I come back? Definitely for the lemon pepper.

Large selection of buttermilk chicken with various sauces. Finally a Swiss chicken shop that understands how it's done. Nice, quick staff. Good beer, cocktail selection, nice cider. Tiptop. Nice atmosphere and good sound.

I just had the tempura vegetables and was disappointing. The vegetables were soggy and there was hardly any batter, and the little batter there was did not taste like tempura flower at all, but regular breadcrumbs. The vegetables themselves were just too salty. This is the second time I've had a disappointing meal at this place. The chicken here is ok but just not worth the price.

Old school hip hop? Hip hop? None! Although this is part of the concept according to the website, with one exception all that was heard was catastrophic trash pop music! But the food was very tasty. We had BBQ wings, “American Dream” wings, fries, coleslaw. The BBQ wings very juicy, hard to eat nicely 😆 The service was friendly (DE&EN).

the chicken used to taste better before in my opinion. went there today and we told the waiter what we thought and he confirmed that they use a completely new recipe/kind of chicken. pls go back to the chicken before

As an Americian I have to say these are some of the best breaded wings I have found in Zurich. They have all the best flavors and sauces you usually can't find (Garlic Parmasian Wings or Ranch Dressing). The only downside is that the tables are a bit close together, which can make for a loud room, but it's not a reason not to visit.

Delicious southern fried chicken in Zurich! Felt right at home as an American. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and atteentive. Even gave is free shirts. Will absolutely return if in Zurich.

I'm a regular that likes to eat at this restaurant as it offers tasty food served by pleasant staff, however charging me CHF 4 for a carafe of tap water (!) is really a deal breaker for me. I also find the music is turned up too loud as it’s interfering with normal level conversation.

The fried chicken is delicious. It is recommended to dine on a weekday evening, so you don't need to make a reservation in advance. The restaurant's dining space is not large, and it can feel stuffy when there are many people inside. It is not suitable for sitting and chatting for a long time because it is too noisy. It is recommended to find another place to continue the stall after eating.

A chill place for simple wings&beer evening. American style atmosphere and friendly staffs. On friday evening, the place was quite busy with many people. I would say the portion was generous and the taste was good but maybe some room for improvement.
