I was able to enjoy brunch with my family in the cozy Kafi. We were warmly welcomed and served with a smile and charm. The food and drinks were beautifully presented and really delicious. We asked in advance whether it was possible to take a look behind the scenes. The tour of the bakery/patisserie was definitely a highlight! It's also easy to reach directly by postbus, almost to the front door. Highly recommended!

On October 7th, 2023 we had the pleasure of enjoying a Z'Vieriplättli in the Ziehler bakery/pastry shop/confectionery in Stein SG. We felt particularly comfortable in the beautiful ambience of the restaurant with very friendly service. After the meal, upon request, we were even allowed to experience a bakery and pastry production tour with the boss. This gave us insight into a passionate and creative bakery/pastry shop that places great value on sustainability, environmental compatibility and regionality. After the tour, we went to the shop where you could buy fine breads, creative pralines and chocolate products, various fine ice cream products and much more. What a beautiful afternoon, a pleasure trip to the Ziehler bakery is always worth it 😀👍👍👍

Yesterday we were able to enjoy many delicious Toggenburger specialties @Cafe Ziehler. They were beautifully presented on a platter: fine almond fish, pear bread, Schlorziflade. Spiced bread, cake, cheese,... and as a surprise there was a large beaver with the family photo. Great service, friendly service and fine food! Thank you very much!

Pretty, authentic shop with a nice selection - it seems a bit special that almost everything is already packed up to take away. What's not OK is that you can only pay at all or with the Twint... the fact that the customer is supposed to withdraw money is not quite as customer-oriented as it could be... and should be... in an alleged tourist region. The cinnamon flatbread didn't come top in the large cross-cantonal test AI / AR / SG, it isn't cinnamony enough and unfortunately generally doesn't taste like enough, and the individual piece is also quite small. The Schlorzifladen was convincing in terms of taste in the overall Toggenburger test, but its consistency seemed rubbery and like a long-lasting pastry - while other Schlorzifladen are hardly transportable because you can notice the freshness, you could throw it in the air and catch it again and it would still hold together . In the end, however, we still clearly prefer the Schlorzifladen from the Hörnli bakery in Hemberg with its dominant, thick, soft egg glaze, which, among other things, really tastes like fresh eggs.

Pastry shop recommended. But you don't have to go there because of the baked goods (summits and bread). Service is friendly.

One of the few confectioneries and bakeries where, because of the quality, you are ready to travel 50 km to buy something that has no equivalent. Their products take you back in time to the past and the quality we know from several dozen years ago. An encounter with the tradition of the past is now worth trying. The prices are also quite good

Super delicious chocolate chips! They are available in various types of white, dark or milk chocolate and flavors such as coconut or mocha. Simply delicious!

There were 3 of us there and enjoyed 2 large breakfasts and a small breakfast. Briefly explained, the butter came in a flower shape, the various jams were all homemade 👍 there were also various cheeses etc. there was enough for all three 👍☕ The service was a 2 year apprentice, friendly helpful 👍

Fine cappucino, excellent homemade ice cream and great crumble cake with cherries. And served by friendly staff! The places in front of the house are comfortable, but we would have felt comfortable inside too. I can only recommend stopping by here once - or again and again 😉

At this bakery everything comes from our own bakery!!! Various breads, small sweets, Schlorzifladen, wafers, cakes, tarts, sandwiches, sandwiches, chocolates and funny figures made of dough and marzipan at any time of the year. They have the best beaver patches far and wide. There is also a coffee that invites you to linger and in the summer you can also enjoy homemade ice cream on the terrace
