Everything, as always, great. We had a great Good Friday and the two ladies who hosted us were very professional, patient, friendly and funny. Five stars without blinking. The food was TOP, as was the wine and dessert. Thank you Bear Team.

The restaurant is great, the service is nice, and the quality of the food still has room for improvement. A breaded schnitzel in this price range should be freshly breaded and fried juicy and crispy. The kitchen can do salads!

Very accommodating and flexible

Super nice, competent staff. Food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite, the house salad! We often go out to eat in a restaurant with the family. Also ideal for celebrations such as confirmations/birthdays etc. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the garden area are absolutely top! Price/performance top! As we know, views and tastes differ, this recession is my personal opinion.

Beautifully gently restored country restaurant. We ate excellently and were served almost too friendly. What stands out - perfect lighting both in the hall and in the dining room and outside! You can see what is in the plate and are not blinded, but rather have the feeling of pleasant mood lighting. In general everything is very stylishly furnished. We didn't stay overnight.

We were greeted very politely and escorted to the reserved table. The waiting time until the order was placed took place immediately afterwards. At the table we received friendly and courteous advice. The menu is clearly laid out. All in all, the Bären restaurant is highly recommended. The amount on the plate is not overflowing. Much for the benefit of the guest. The plates are delivered hot with the menu and served.

If something is good, you have to say it: We didn't know the bear in Niederbipp before. We stopped there for lunch on a bike tour. We decided on the lunch menu, which started with an excellent soup. The main course was equally delicious, the meat and vegetables were wonderful and the saffron risotto was simply a dream. Although there was a lot of activity, the team remained very friendly, professional and without any hassle. This is how lunch is fun! Thanks to the whole team for this!

The ambience is fine, the service is friendly. The portions are too big. Women and older people in particular would often like to have a little less on their plate - and then pay 2-3 CHF less for it.

This was my second time at the Bären and it was even better than the first time. For starters we had a platter of sliced ​​cheese with local cold cuts, it was fantastic. For the main course, my friend had Zurich Geschnetzeltes and I had a veal cordon bleu, both were top and finally a fine dessert. I wrote two reviews, the older one is below. We were at Bären this evening, despite the fact that the restaurant is on the main street, it was very quiet outside. It was very busy and the wait staff had a lot of work to do. It took longer but the wait staff was always very friendly. I had a piece of veal kidney with fries and salad, my friend had the Züri Geschnezeltes, which was also very tasty and will visit the restaurant again. At the end there was half a coupe of Denmark, with espresso and grappa.👍

Very nice small hotel in a historic building, but very modernized. High standard of equipment including air conditioning. Nice people in the hotel and in the really first-class restaurant attached. Unfortunately a bit away from tourist centers, but an ideal stop for someone who has something to do in the area.

This is a very popular restaurant situated in Niederbipp. It's advisable to book a reservation.. When I attended (with three companions, I found the service to be a bit slower to what I'm used to, but in their defence, they had lots of full tables to attend to. The waiting staff were super friendly without being obtrusive and the food was tasty, although my companion remarked about the 3xcesdive cheese coating her Spätzli. All in all though, it was a pleasant experience.

Very nice service, we had DV and "unfortunately only" sandwiches, but they were great. I can't judge everything else and the location is of course very individual, depending on where you come from and what you want to do. It's close to the highway and has plenty of parking, so it's ok for me.

As a result of a checkpoint for a club activity carried out in the greater Langenthal area, I was allowed to spend a day as a silent observer in the Bären in Niederbipp from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.: What I experienced: Incredibly friendly and courteous staff who had a smile on their faces most of the day. In my opinion, the entire team worked very well and smoothly. For dinner I had a Nüssler salad with egg and a cordon bleu with French fries. I would particularly like to point out that the person serving asked me whether I wanted ketchup OR mayonaise. In most of the restaurants I have visited so far, I have always had to specifically ask for mayonaise - I really appreciate this. The food was very tasty and made a fresh impression on me. I very much hope that I will be able to set up my post here again next year - I would be very happy to come eat and work here again. Thank you very much for this pleasant day!
