Run by a competent husband and wife couple, this local Gasthaus combines rural charm and excellent cuisine. The chef, the husband that is, is a passionate chef serving only the best. His wife runs the bar and service with much competence and charm. The building itself is historical and worth a couple of photos. Unique for the area, the restaurant got a smokers' area, where the Stammtisch is, obviously. One of the few remaining places offering this "old time charm" but their incredible extractor fans won't let you feel you're sitting in a smokers' area. Of cours a large non-smoker area is available, too, and in summer they open a large and charming terrace as well.
