Incredible super good service at the top thank you team!!!

Good welcome, good service, good atmosphere. Starter: Shrimp tempura very good. prime rib dish: Overpriced quality, but it was good. Mashed potatoes with truffles too liquid, it looked like soup. The fries were bland. Dessert: Baklava with a scoop of ice cream, it was good but I would have preferred it to be crunchier. A little overrated place overall, but acceptable.

Incredible place, the service, the professionalism, the kindness of all the staff. To come back again and again. I recommend it to anyone who likes good food, a great atmosphere and fantastic decor!!!!

Very modern, spacious and fancy restaurant, delicious dishes and great meat cuts, experiential atmosphere (some dishes were prepared and meat was cut in front of us, couple of dancers were parading around the table etc). Key opportunity area is the music - it could have easily turned into a dance party place, but the dj played indifferent unknown tracks all night long.

I’m a fan of carpaccio since more than 20 years and eat it in many countries. 8 OAK is serving the best carpaccio in the world. I have never seen more beautiful preparation and never eat better carpaccio anywhere than at 8Oak. Also if you are planning a dinner or lunch, dont forget to order famous shashlik 2 days in advance. You will not regret ! Ambiance, food, service is the best in Geneva ! Or even Switzerland

Excellent place! I found the service to be up to par and the dishes are very tasty. Side dishes such as truffled mashed potatoes or sweet potato fries are perfect to accompany the dish. The atmosphere is also there. There is ambient music that is not too loud so that you can chat at the table, a DJ, dancers and even the staff play the game. This is truly a place not to be missed! I recommend.

Nothing to say, everything was perfect

First and last experience at 8oak unfortunately. The website is attractive and we were looking forward to discovering this place. After a “cold” welcome by a security agent we take our table. Our waitress is very cheerful but we wait 30 minutes to receive the menu and a total of 40 minutes before receiving the wines. But in the end we came for the meat: a tomahawk for two (175.-) very good and a chateaubriand (for two also) not tender at all unfortunately (165.-). The value for money balance sheet is low, especially considering that the meat is served on a wooden board (hygiene...) and is cold quickly (obviously 1 kg of meat cools quickly). The staff is very pleasant but crucially lacks professionalism and experience in the field of catering for an establishment that aims to be high-end. With the meat we hoped to drink a good bottle of red. The "standard" wine list is minimalist (7 red wines) and the prices are exaggerated while the "premium" wine list only contains the major labels with prices generally above 300.- per bottle. Too bad.

I celebrated my birthday at 8oak, wow! The food is delicious! Excellent cocktails. The music, the atmosphere, the very friendly and smiling staff, even the DJ was incredible! They took a little time to receive the orders but in general we were very well served. I recommend one hundred percent! Congratulations!

Ohhh what to say!!! Each establishment has its customers...Apart from meat, leftovers, none from none!!! Nothing to say to the waitresses and waiters. Such an expensive establishment, no vegetables with the meat which costs a fortune, no side dishes!!! Not sauces that go with the meat… According to them 3 sauces but none of the sauces that go with the meat… for me, it's a real disaster… ok they have customers but up to where and until when! !!???

While the meat was good, the fries were mediocre, which is a real shame for a steakhouse that claims to have "Frites Maison". Also, we made a reservation a few days before for a late dinner at 11pm. The reservation was accepted with a written confirmation, and only on the evening of dinner at 10.10pm did we receive a phone call informing us that the kitchen would close at 11.00pm. In the end we managed to arrive and have dinner before 11pm by changing our plans, but I don't think it's a satisfactory level of service.

100% successful evening. From the atmosphere to the perfection of the meal and the quality of the service, everything was perfect! Exceptional restaurant that I can only recommend! Thanks to the whole team for this discovery

Very disappointed with this experience, I came about 3 months ago and the food was great and there it was really a flop with an endless wait for really mediocre quality… coming with friends we regretted having come back ...we were ignored when we complained about the waiting time and the quality of the food...my friends will soon post a comment as well.

Good restaurant in terms of food, the meat and the accompaniments were excellent but the service was not very good, the wait for the dishes was much too long, many errors on the orders. In terms of the atmosphere which was good, the music was much too loud, impossible to hear.

I really enjoyed our meal! And super good atmosphere even during the week so I can’t imagine the weekend! Thanks to the service! I'll definitely come back!

Disappointed... I decided to come a second time to this place because the first time I came it was really great BUT I sold this place SO QUICKLY. The atmosphere wasn't great ok there was the dancer but otherwise the music wasn't great like last time. In addition we were in a very dim corner of the table lamps which went out every 5 seconds (the waitress still changed the table lamp 4 times) given that we were in a corner we had the music above us impossible to get along well. And finally when we had booked it was clearly specified that the correct choice was required. How can I tell you not at all... the number of people I saw coming in civilian sportswear clothing for men and women mixed together 🤷‍♀️ brief shame. Oh yes and the glass of wine a dose worthy of a tasting for the price I was entitled to 2 sips 🤷‍♀️ On the other hand, the SUCCULENT cuisine!

Booked the restaurant with a 20% off à la carte offer on The Fork, but just noticed now that they have not taken that off the bill. Too late now I guess but not great to put these offers on The Fork and then not follow through with it unless the customer notices and complains! Apart from that food was nice, especially the meat was really good and cooked to perfection (could have been served a little warmer though). We had to give back the first fries we received as they were more or less cold when they arrived at the table. They were replaced by fresh ones and our waitress brought an extra portion as a courtesy - at least she said so, however we still found them on the bill later on… Not super impressed by their wine list (both the standard and premium one), they carry mainly the well known expensive brands and clearly price them above what you would usually pay for these wines in a restaurant. So worth it for the meat they serve and the ambiance is quite nice, too.
